The guest house is ideal for a relaxed retreat from everyday life. Located only 15 minutes from major cities, this 15 acre estate offers a level of peace and serenity that is hard to find while still being close enough to everything to enjoy live entertainment, exquisite meals, challenging golf course, ocean beaches, world class family resorts, major casinos, and award winning wines.

Situated slightly lower on the property than the main house, it offers a private and undisturbed sanctuary for your time away from home. The large bedroom is located at the edge of the hill and presents views of the valleys heading both north to Temecula and west to the ocean. This room is loaded with windows and receives cool evening breezes with the windows open. A full sized stacked washer and dryer is located in the bedroom for your convenience, and there is plenty of storage in the full size dresser and closet.

The other main room of the house contains both the kitchen and the living room, but this space is so large that you will never feel crowded. The kitchen boasts full size appliances (gas range and oven), large refrigerator with ice maker, and miles of counter space (including a butcher block island). There is a comfortable table suitable for four adults to enjoy home cooked meals in the kitchen space, and another 4 person table outside on the patio to enjoy the evening breeze and sunsets while eating on the private patio.

The living room has a love seat and a sleeper sofa (queen), and the smart TV is wirelessly connected to the internet to stream HD content (Netflix and Vudu), access DirecTV, or use the Blu-ray player for your favorite movies. We have a library of movies that can be loaned on request.

There are views from every window/door that are incredible as the property is located on top of the hill at the end of a private road. The driveway is gated and the property is fenced around the immediate house, but there is an additional 4 acres adjacent to the guest house path that is fenced and occupied by our three goats, Donkey, and Llama. The remaining 10 acres is not fenced, but is available for your exploration, and includes a (neglected) lime grove. Most of the land is rugged and covered with original chaparral growth, boulders, and wildlife, but does offer the most impressive views in all of Bonsall and has a maintained dirt road for ease of access.

The windows have night darkening shades for you to be able to sleep as late as you like without the light to disturb you! The remaining windows have up down shades which means they operate by pulling from above or below to give you the exact amount or light and/or privacy you need ! Please do not put any food down the sinks or flush anything down the toilet other that human waste and the provided septic safe toilet paper. This includes but not limited to food scraps, coffee grinds, egg shells, paper of any kind, tampons, and baby wipes(been if they state they are flushable). Grease and oil must be absorbed with papertowels when cooled and disposed of in the trash. Oil solidifies when cooled and will block the plumbing lines. House is on septic and these habits should be used on sewer as well however septic is more sensitive to blockage if not uses properly. Thank you!

No pets in pool please. When pets swim in the pool it causes extensive cleaning because of the fur getting clogged up in the filters. We try to keep our cost down and avoid having to pay a filter cleaning, which is often what will happen after your pet takes a dip.

There is a maximum of 4 guests allowed at all times and each guest must be registered prior to check in. If booking the 3 bedroom concurrently with the 2 bedroom, an exception to the maximum guests will be considered with prior written approval.

No parties of any kind, no exceptions. The hideaway is meant for a getaway for relaxation, quiet, and fun for the paid guests. Commercial Video and Photography must be approved in advance.

Only registered guests are allowed on the premises. If you would like to have daytime visitors, they may be approved on a case by case based with prior approval. We have a shared backyard/pool area and that area is for the sole use of guests that are registered with AIRBNB, If you have booked the Villa ( the 3 bed house AND the Two bed Casa) then you are only sharing with the guests on your booking. If you booked the 3 bed House or the 2 bed Casa you will be sharing with other guests that are not part of your booking. There is a camera at the driveway entrance and if it is discovered that more people have checked in to the property, then was stated on the reservation, your booking will be subject to immediate cancellation without notice.

Our daughter had a big soccer tournament in Oceanside and this was a very convenient and clean place to stay and relax in between games. Communication was quick and she was very accomodating for our requests regarding check in and check out times wherever she was able to be flexible. She also stocked the fridge and kitchen with drinks and snacks, even wine for the parents! The listing is part of a split property with a larger 3br listing on the second floor and while there was another guest family staying above us, they were courteous and did not create a bother. Be aware the pool and common areas such as the driveway parking would be shared if both listings were booked. Luckily navigating these things were no issue. Cozy up in the queen bed on a 3” mattress topper next to double sconces; perfect for a night read, or cuddle up and watch some TV.
The bunkroom has its own door for privacy, separate sitting area with table, sleeps 3 with a 200lb max weight limit for both top bunks. Inside the bunkroom I've provided fun coloring books with colored pencils, books and walki talkies. If you need a pack-n-play, please let me know!

The master has an Ca KIng and the other two Bedrooms have new queen bed ( purchased June 2023) with adustable bed frame. Elevate your head and legs at the perfect height for the most peaceful slumber! Living room and all bedrooms have ceiling fans so you can be assured everyone is happy and at the “right” temperature. The windows and sliders all have night darkening shades for you to be able to sleep as late as you like without the light to disturb you! The remaining windows they have up down shades which means they operate by pulling from above or below to give you the exactl amount or light and/or privacy you need ! Plenty of cooking, baking and supplies for you to cook meals on those days you don’t want to explore. BBQ grill is cleaned and ready to go while you are relaxing on the deck, swimming , or playing corn hole!

This is a 2 story home. The kitchen, dining room, family room, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and the laundry are on the main level. On the second level are 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and a large balcony.

Main Level Family Room/Kitchen/Dining:
The comfortable family room has ample space for your family gathering with an 86 inch smart TV and a game cupboard for some family fun including toys for the little ones. You can enjoy the scenery from the dining table or go out on the patio for a relaxing meal. The large kitchen has abundant counter and pantry space with all the necessities for meal preparation and dining.
Our ocean breeze orchard has a variety of citrus trees. In the kitchen you'll find a juicer and supplies for making lemonade. Imagine, fresh picked lemons and homemade lemonade on a summer day!

3 Main Floor Bedrooms:
Bedroom 1, the primary bedroom - King bed, desk for a quiet workspace, large ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet, and a sliding door that opens to the patio with a comfortable sitting area and beautiful views. In the closet is a queen air mattress, a full-size crib, a pack-n-play, and extra bedding. There is a full length mirror and extra space in the bath area that is perfect for preparing for special occasions.

Bedroom 2 - California King bed and one bunk bed (sleeps 4 total) with access to the hall bathroom. There is also a 55 inch smart TV.

Bedroom 3 - King bed with access to the hall bathroom. There is also an upright piano which you are welcome to respectfully play.

2 Main floor bathrooms:
The spacious primary bathroom and the hall bathroom.

Large Main Level Laundry room:
The laundry room is equipped with a full-size washer and dryer, ironing board and iron, some cleaning supplies, and an additional small refrigerator/freezer.

Back yard:
From the family room/kitchen there is access to the large back patio which offers dining areas with tables and chairs for 14 guests, a grill, a lounge area, and umbrellas for shade. Family outdoor games are available including corn hole, badminton, spike ball, Kanjam frisbee, bocce ball, and croquet.

Second Level 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, and Balcony:
Upstairs are two additional bedrooms that open to a large balcony with breathtaking views and chaise lounge chairs for reading, relaxing, and sunbathing.

Bedroom 4 - King bed, mirror closet, and access to a hall bathroom. A twin-size fold out floor mattress with extra bedding is in the mirror closet.

Bedroom 5 - King bed, sofa futon, desk, and a 55 inch smart TV, and access to the hall bathroom. Extra bedding is located in the mirror closet.

Please note, there is no garage access or use of the indoor fireplace.
Also note, the AC unit operates downstairs only. There is no AC in the upstairs; each room has a ceiling fan and a tower fan. The ocean breeze keeps the house fairlycool, the AC is rarely needed.
Guest access
The entire home and the yard/patio area around the home is your private retreat. The home is accessed from the lower gate with the house number on the mailbox. After entering through the gate, you will drive up to the house and park in the area at the side of the house. Although there is no garage access, there is ample parking to the side of the house and in front of the garage.
Other things to note
HOUSE RULES:
- Absolutely no smoking, vaping, or use of illegal substances.
- Absolutely no pets.
- Absolutley no parties or events.
Failure to comply with the house rules will result in immediate termination of your rental and 100% loss of your deposit and reservation.

The pool at our property is large and spacious, but due to its size, we’re unable to keep it heated year-round. During the warmer months, the pool generally maintains a comfortable temperature, though it can get quite chilly during cooler months. However, if you'd like the pool heated, we can accommodate that upon request for an additional fee of $150–$300 per day, depending on the weather. This charge covers the cost of propane used to heat the pool. The hot tub is easy to control and can be heated at your convenience with the push of a button.

We have a sport shack stocked with horseshoes, tennis racquets, and a corn hole set for your enjoyment. We also provide a few basketballs and volleyballs, though they tend to get a lot of use and may occasionally be worn out. If you're an avid sports enthusiast, we recommend bringing your own equipment to ensure they're in top condition. Please note that we don’t provide tennis balls, as we've likely lost thousands over the years to guests hitting them into the mountains for fun! :)

Guests will never run out of things to do here. Whether you’re looking to unwind or stay active, we’ve got you covered. For those seeking relaxation, spend your day lounging by the pool, surrounded by the soothing sound of wind rustling through the palm trees. Please keep in mind that this property is nestled into the mountainside and surrounded by its natural habitat. As such, it’s not uncommon to spot some of the local wildlife, including lizards, gophers, snakes, hawks, coyotes, raccoons, rabbits and more. We kindly ask that you respect our friendly visitors and remember to keep the screen doors closed to avoid any unexpected encounters! The area is also home to harmless field mice, so if the screens are left open, especially at night, you might find a small mouse paying you a visit indoors. While we take every measure to prevent this, it’s important to note that you’re in a country setting. If you do happen to see a mouse, please know it’s not a rat, they are more scared of you then you are them and our home is certainly not dirty!

Our property needs a lot of upkeep so please be aware that we have a full landscaping team and pool guy that frequent the property. Our trash pickup is very early on Monday mornings so don't be alarmed if you see people in the driveway grabbing the trash cans and then bringing them back in the afternoon.

Our pool guy Tom has been cleaning the pool for 20+ years and is awesome. He tries to do it in between guests, but if we have back to back rentals for more than a week, he may drop in during the beginning of the week in the morning but he will only be around the pool and won't disturb anyone inside or asleep.

Also, we only allow a maximum of 14 guests at a time, this includes day or night. An additional fee will be applied even if you ask for guests to stop by for daytime use of the house.

The remaining bedrooms are equally comfortable with plenty of bedding options.

Resort-style home with 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms and luxury kitchen. There is so much to do and enjoy. The 1.5 acres have lots of privacy and amenities, including a large pool, spa, lighted tennis (2 pickleball) court, basketball hoop, citrus trees, bar-b-q, outdoor dining, and seating areas. Workout equipment (elliptical, spin bike and trampoline).

Beds for 12 adults. Airstream trailer with 2 beds and 3/4 bath available for an extra $90 per night. Baby and kid-friendly items are available. Office desk and printer.

The fee to heat the pool to 80 degrees is $50 per day from June 1 to September 15, and $90 per day from September 16 to May 31. There is no fee to heat the spa.

The house is in a quiet neighborhood where loud noise after 9 PM quickly generates calls to law enforcement or VRBO. DJ equipment and bringing your own stereo equipment or sound systems is prohibited. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property.

- "We booked this house as a group of parents for a sports tournament in the area. I have been part of many similar rentals in the past. I can say with certainty, this was our best rental, and best host thus far! From the time we were exploring accommodations the host was extremely responsive and accommodating/flexible to our needs. He was not only helpful with the house, but also with information regarding the area. Prior to our stay he even ordered a kitchen utensil one of our parents inquired about! The communication during our stay was nearly immediate. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful host he is! The house is amazing! The bedrooms are all great sizes, beds are comfortable, linens were quality, etc.... The kitchen has more than enough for a large group. The pool and tennis court were a highlight for all.
