I asked for a refund from hotels.com and they were able to get that back for me. We were able to find another hotel, which saved our trip. "

- "Service was good " - "Overall, a wonderful experience. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive. This is my first experience at a hotel/resort of this quality, so it's possible I'm a bit shocked by the incredible staff. A couple minor complaints: 1) Air filters were disgusting. I mean they looked busted and we're more dust than filter. Like they hadn't been changed in 5 years or more. Maybe do a basic inspection of each room because some tiny details get overlooked. 2) The lounge chairs in the Herman Bungalow pool are oddly positioned. Ideally they'd be a bit lower in the water. But now I'm just being nitpicky. Such a minor thing. 3) Expired snacks in the room for purchase. Relatively harmless but still. I will say that they provided a credit for the air filter and expired food. A credit that definitely exceeded the monetary value of my notes, but also not something I was going for. We just mentioned them on our way out the door; I'd already signed for everything and was really happy with most everything I experienced here. I didn't say anything about the loungers since that's just a matter of personal preference. I'd highly recommend this place if you want a quiet spot away from too much hustle and bustle. "
