I’m not particular about views when staying at a hotel, but I was fortunate and surprised to get a pool view that was just at the right angle to get a good portion of the beach view as well. But, after walking around the vicinity of the hotel, I’d say beach view or not, the surroundings are all gorgeous. I came to Huntington from Canada to roller skate and having the beach and boardwalk across the street was extremely convenient and allowed me to maximize my outdoor time. If you don’t mind a 15 minute walk on a nice day or night, you can walk to Walmart or Starbucks. Walking distance to downtown Huntington Beach area too where there are a lot of shopping and restaurant options. Staff are welcoming and friendly. My room was great. Property is well maintained. Marriott’s Newport Coast is a fractional ownership resort, with inventory managed like a hotel. All villas feature the same upscale layout, furnishings, and amenities. While room views and locations vary, we can submit building or floor preferences to Marriott on your behalf, though these cannot be guaranteed.

Approximately half of the villas offer views of the golf course and nature preserve. The other half offers distant ocean views. While a request for an ocean view can be made, it cannot be guaranteed. Please note this resort is not directly oceanfront.
