This rustic, yet upgraded house/cabin includes all amenities, including W/D, Stainless appliances, granite countertops, bamboo and hardwood floors in the common areas, carpeting in the bedrooms, and linens and housewares for your convenience. In addition to the 2 beds, there is also a full size futon and a queen-sized blow-up mattress, if needed. A pack-n-play and baby gates are also available for those staying with small children. Home has 3 flat screen TV's, internet, cable and wireless printer. There is a new gas fireplace in the living room, and also a gas grill and outdoor furniture on the back patio overlooking Soda Creek.

Cozy, Romantic, Secluded 1,400 square-foot, log cabin located one mile from Downtown Steamboat Springs. Bordering national forest lands, you do not have any visible neighbors--just beautiful woods all around you with a bubbling creek right outside your door. In the summer hiking and biking trails can be accessed just feet away and in the winter the same trails turn into a cross county skiing and snowshoeing paradise.
Cabin is two stories high including a full size kitchen with a wrap-around deck over looking your own private creek. The Cabin is also equipped with a full size bath room and full size washer and dryer. Dryer has a sanitizing cycle for your protection. On the main floor there is a cozy living area for watching movies, reading books, sleeping on the queen size sofa bed or just sitting by the cozy wood burning stove. Tv provided with Roku for some limited tv, Enjoy the DVD player with a selection of DVD's for adults and kids. A great selection of games is available for family fun. High speed internet is available for your computer for work or play.
The main sleeping area is located on the second floor where there are two bedrooms. One bedroom with four single beds and a separate loft room with a queen size bed. Two of the single beds are often pushed together to make a king bed in the " bunk room". Open the windows in either room and you can hear the water from the creek down below. The best sleeping pill, ever!

- "Probably the best VRBO experience I've ever had. The cabin is comfy and charming. The location was absolutely perfect and the owner is just about the nicest person I've ever dealt with. The close proximity of both town and Nature, combined with the exceptional attributes of our one of a kind log cabin and the very fair price, make our home an unbeatable choice for those who long to get away from it all into the quiet of wide open spaces and skies of Northwestern Colorado, but with some added comfort.
The first two things you will notice when you walk into our home is how full of light the house is and how you can't stop looking out the windows. Log cabins tend to be dark and a bit claustrophobic. Ours feels like a breath of fresh air.
Each room, including the bathrooms, has it's own forever view. When you can tear yourself away from the windows you will notice how charming, tastefully and simply this house is furnished and how beautifully it has been crafted. There is no clutter or personal stuff. The closets and cabinets are empty and ready for your use! At the same time there is everything you need for your comfort. The kitchen is extremely well supplied. The master bedroom has a comfy king size bed, its own private deck and bath with shower. The twin bedroom can easily be turned into another king and it also has it's own bath with shower. IF you can tear yourself away from the views and night skies there is a 37 inch flat screen TV in the living room with a Direct TV subscription or a DVD player. There is also a 5CD player if music is how you choose to relax. There is also an internet wireless connection. If there is a chill in the air the wood stove/fireplace heats the whole house and augments the in floor heating.
Outside on the large forever view deck there is an awning that can be unfurled to provide protection from the sun as you dine, read a book or watch the birds. A barbecue allows you to cook outside in the summer. Usually people never want to leave to do anything else.
In addition, the 70 surrounding acres gives you plenty of room to roam and explore. The elk frequently visit during both summer and winter and the coyotes are usually heard yipping in the distance as you sleep at night.
South of Steamboat Springs around the ski area is especially crowded in both summer and winter. You will be in your own private Colorado in our one of a kind custom log cabin on the hill overlooking he Elk River.

For the last few years we have needed about 10 BR, and have stayed at some of the double houses (can rent both sides of the house). This worked much better for us bc we don’t really need two kitchens, two dining rooms, etc. Instead, with this house we got one large common space with a pool table, darts, room for playing games, etc. And the view from that large living room is the best we have ever had. In a house of this caliber, we also would expect a dishwasher in better condition (bottom rack for plates should be replaced; it kept coming off its rollers). We already reported those concerns and are sure management has already taken care of them. Home owners might consider providing the kind of printed binder you see in most vacation rentals, with info on how to operate the heat, fireplace, TVs, garage door and WiFi codes (so that renters don't have to keep looking on their phones for the welcome email for that info), and information on favorite nearby restaurants and attractions, etc. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house and highly recommend it."

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms as well as a large deck, central kitchen and great room make this home an excellent get away for family and friends. Look at the guidebook in this listing for a link to the 3D walk through of the home.
The space
The home is two levels. You enter the home on the lower level where you can access two bedrooms and a jack and jill bathroom. One of the lower bedrooms has two twin beds and a full over full bunk bed, the second lower bedroom has a king size bed. Heading upstairs you enter the great room and central kitchen area. Off of the great room is the master bedroom with a king size bed and attached 5 piece bathroom with a shower and soaking tub. Continuing through the kitchen to the dining room there is a second stair case accessing the forth bedroom and bathroom featuring a queen size bed and a full over full bunk bed. 2 garage spaces as well as 4 outdoor parking spaces with room for a snowmobile trailer.

- "We loved the serene area of where the home was located, just off Rabbit Ears Pass. It was tucked away/cozy in the aspens with a nice deck to enjoy the outdoor space. However, the outdoor space could use some updating like sanding the deck/new patio furniture and maybe an umbrella/shade. We would have liked to spend more time out there, but when we went the weather was very warm so the direct sun moved us back indoors. The layout of the home with beds/rooms and 3 bathrooms w showers, offers plenty of space for adults to sleep well and have their own space. The dining area is large and the living space was perfect for card games and hanging out. The kitchen is a bit tight to be cooking/moving around, but we made it work. Plenty of parking for our cars and only about 10-15 to mainstreet. Overall, great rental home for a long weekend in steamboat!"

Wild Blue Lodge is located on the only residential street with access to Right 'O Way, a Green run leading to the base area. A finely crafted Montana Log Home with majestic lodgepole pine, skip-peeled, full-scribe timbers. This duplex home offers an outstanding mid-mountain location with commanding views of the ski mountain, the new Wild Blue gondola, and Steamboat's Yampa Valley.
Huge logs form the structure of the soaring great room where you can relax in front of the wood-burning, stone fireplace while enjoying magnificent views of Steamboat through the large windows. A large, leather couch is the perfect spot to for conversation, taking in the big game or watching a movie on the wall mounted TV. A lofted family room offers additional space for relaxation, playing games, and a huge screen for watching movies. A timber frame ladder leads to a cozy loft getaway with bean bags the kids will love.
The fully equipped kitchen has granite and custom cabinetry, new backsplash, soft wood flooring underfoot, and a timber bar top with seating for 4. Appliances include Sub-Zero refrigerator, induction range with convection oven, Bosch dishwasher, and a well-stocked small appliance cabinet. Adjacent to the kitchen is a 14-person dining table with dry bar - a great spot to gather after a day on the mountain to enjoy Après ski as you watch alpenglow envelop the mountain, or to watch one of our private chefs prepare dinner!
The homes five bedrooms + den are spacious and cozy with exposed timbers for a true mountain feel, all freshly painted. On the main level the primary bedroom has a King bed, a large walk-in closet, huge windows with forest views, and a private ensuite bathroom including double vanities, new tile floor, and walk in shower. On the home's upper lofted level is a Queen bedroom, directly accessing the level's guest bathroom with shower.
On the mid level of the home is a bunk room with two Twin-over-Twin bunkbeds, and a den with Twin over Full bunkbed, built-ins and a desk. The bedrooms share a hall bathroom with shower, and the laundry room is also located on this level. The lower floor is home to a large mud room with bench to gear up for the day, boot dryers, with a door to the garage and ski racks, plus a French door to the drive. A fourth bedroom with a Split King bed (convertible to 2 Twins) and direct access to the level's full guest bath. The fifth bedroom has a King bed, and a large full private bath. SKI ACCESS
Quick access to two ski trails (ungroomed) on the street connect to Right 'O Way, a green run leading to the base area below, 75 yards below. The trail for beginner to intermediate skiers is under 350 feet to the left of the home. A trail for advanced skier to connect to the ski run below is just 100 feet to the right of the drive.

Walk into the main level, open living room that has custom decor & design and features sweeping views of the ski area & surrounding forests. Sink into style in the plush furnishings and warm up by the large gas fireplace after a fun day on the slopes & trails. Head into the gourmet kitchen that's stocked with Viking appliances the chef in your group will adore. There's seating for five at the breakfast bar and 10 at the dining room table for when you want to come together for a meal. There's also a custom wet bar with a wine fridge and a small office space if you need to work while visiting Steamboat. On the lower level, you'll love to escape to the pool table game room that has a large TV to catch your favorite game on. This level also features a large bar & kitchenette, plus lower level yard/patio access that hosts the very private hot tub.
When you're ready to rest easy head to one of the six luxe bedrooms to recharge. There's a main level King Primary suite that has two private decks, a flat screen TV, gas fireplace, large ensuite bathroom & walk-in closet. On the upper level, there's another King bedroom with a private front deck, oversized ensuite bathroom & closet, gas fireplace and flat screen TV. You'll find two identical King bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms on the upper level and a large bunk room with Queen over Queen & Queen over King bunks. Finally on the lower level, there's a very private King bedroom with ensuite bathroom. All of the beds have high-end linens that will offer you a perfect night's sleep while on vacation.

The Timbers Cabin, brought to you by Mountain Vacation Lodging, provides guests with all the tranquility one could hope for in a mountain vacation. Located just off of Rabbit Ears Pass and only 10 minutes from the east end of town, it's extremely convenient to access yet one feels like they are away from it all. Rabbit Ears Pass is full of hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, road biking and many other outdoor adventure options. The neighborhood itself is mainly year round residents so is very quiet. Most homes have large lots so even though there are other homes around, guests feel that wooded seclusion one hopes for in a cabin stay. One of the bedrooms is on the main level with a full bed. The other is a loft bedroom, with both a queen bed and a twin daybed. Please note, there is no door to the loft, it is an open layout. Despite having no door, it is a separate space with plenty of privacy. The loft bedroom has an office area and an ensuite bathroom with an extremely inviting freestanding tub in addition to the shower. The main level has the kitchen, living room, dining room, a wood burning fireplace, radiant in-floor heat, washer/dryer and a spectacularly outfitted kitchen! Feel free to take a walk on the dirt road from the house and experience the splendor of nature from just outside your door.

-- Lifts: The cabin is about 7.5 miles from the Gondola Transit Center. Steamboat offers free parking at the Meadows and Knoll parking lots. From the Knoll lot, guests can walk to the lifts. From the Meadows lot, guests can either take the Wildhorse Gondola or the 2 minute free shuttle ride from the lot to the base area.
-- Town: 8.6 miles from downtown Steamboat. The drive to town is anywhere between 10-20 minutes depending on weather and driving style.
-- Views: From our home guests overlook our neighborhoods aspen forest. If you walk up on the road you are able to see down valley to the Steamboat Ski Resort.
– Transportation: There are no buses that come to the Timbers Village neighborhood. The shuttles from Denver International Airport will drop off and pick up in the neighborhood but the shuttles from Yampa Valley Regional Airport will not drop off at the home. Uber and Lyft are options but aren't always reliable. We recommend having a car for this location.
Arrival, Access, and Parking:
– Accessing the Property – A single stair from driveway/carport into the home. There is one full flight of stairs to access the loft bedroom.
– Parking – Space for a single car in the carport and an additional car in the driveway. The driveway is not long enough for a trailer and there is not additional parking in the neighborhood to accommodate a trailer. Although Rabbit Ears Pass is regularly plowed, 4WD/AWD or vehicles with chains may be required to access this property when traveling during snow and winter weather conditions. Please reach out to our agents if you have any additional questions on parking or potential trailer parking.

Our cabin is located in a private setting at the base of Rabbit Ears Pass with views to Mount Werner. Decorated in an alpine theme, the cabin has three floors with a full-bath located on each floor. Our kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking equipment needed as well as spices & oils. To add to your rustic mountain experience, we heat with a woodstove and provide wood and instructions to keep you warm during the chilly winter nights.
Our location is ideal as it's close to the Routt National Forest with hiking, mountain biking, snowmobiling and snowshoeing. It is less than 5 minutes to Haymaker Golf Course which hosts Nordic skiing in the winter and we are a 10 minute drive to Steamboat Ski Resort and downtown Steamboat's restaurants and shops.
There is a cleaning fee of $200 for stays of less than 4 nights. We allow pets with a $150 pet fee. Minimum night stay of 5 nights during the Christmas and New Year holidays!

It was the perfect distance from the town and close to Steamboat Resort as well. We loved how the house was laid out, everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom and the wood stove kept us really warm in the 10 degree weather! The view from the front and the back was incredible. Way more serene and interesting that staying in town or around all those high-rise condos. Sherri was an amazing host and very responsive, helpful and kind. Thanks for the perfect New Years stay!"

Emerald Mountain Lodge is our newest home in our collection of incredible Steamboat properties. Giant stone columns greet you as you walk up to enter this luxurious custom lodge. Offering 5 bedrooms all with private En suites, 2 powder bathrooms, 3 rooms offering king beds, 1 queen room and a large bunk room with 2 queen bunk beds. The great room with stone fireplace and massive beams and vaulted ceilings will be your central gathering area. The gourmet kitchen offers professional 48″ appliances and a dining area that offers seating for up to 17. The lower level offers an entertainment area with a taste of the old west and the ranching life Steamboat is known for. Pool table, video games, theater room and custom-built bar will provide hours of enjoyment for your entire group. Private outdoor hot tub, gas firepit and the ability to stream your favorite music to any room in the house round out this one of a kind property.
