Washer and dryer in the room was so nice! Great free shuttle service that drops you off/picks you up at local shops and restaurants. Only wish the hotel had a free shuttle service to/from the airport. Owner is extremely nice and responds quickly to questions. I don’t know why anyone would stay anywhere else in Steamboat. - "Everything described and more. The penthouse suite was larger than we thought and the location couldn't have been any closer to the lifts. It was nice to go back into the suite to warm up on a couple of days instead of going to the crowded lodges on the mountain. The private hot tubs on the rooftop were great also, not crowded as they're only for owner occupied units so it was just our family. Jesse was very timely on communication, would definitely rent another property from him again."

- "12 hours before our arrival time we receive an email from the Anna that after the 1st night we would have to checkout and change rooms. This was going to be a huge inconvenience to us. We had planned on skiing all day and had purchased groceries as well. We tried to explain this and Anna was unapologetic and did not care the inconvenience would cause us. Luckily for us we had a very kind gentlemen help us at check-in and worked with the owners management to arrange for us to stay in the same room. I see there was another review for Anna where she canceled their reservation entirely 24 hours out. Luckily for us this did not happen but renters beware.Hotel is great and staff was lovely and you can not beat the location! "

Especially with all of the new things to do at the base and the new gondola, it was literally perfect for us! We could drop off our skis at the valet, steps from the base of the mountain and run up to our room to take off our uncomfy ski boots and be back down in our comfortable shoes in just a few minutes. On days where we were too tired to apres ski, we could open the balcony and bring the apres ski vibe to us in our room! Being steps to and from the new Wild Blue Gondola, getting in and of the mountain every day was cake! The room was clean and well-appointed. Beds and pillows were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for all 5 of us despite it being a 2-room condo. The owner was extremely friendly and responded quickly to my questions. Checking in and out was a breeze. Staying here made everything easier! If I had one thing that could use improvement, I would say that the master bathroom lighting could use some more light, but that is the only thing. We will definitely be staying here again!!"

We have visited Steamboat both now in the Summer season as well as Winter season . Both trips were amazing. The 2 hour 45 min drive from Denver airport was just breathtaking traveling through the mountain side. Hayden Airport is located 22 miles, 35-40 min drive from the resort if flying into Yampa Valley Regional Airport, Hayden is an option. Its a wonderful relaxing place for a ski vacation with a great town full of entertainment and great food.
