Only downside was that it was a hot week and with no air conditioning we managed the temperature with open windows at night and provided fans but it was still warm at times."

Hello, we are Robin and John Hanley and we would like to welcome you to our Under the Gondola Guest Suites in Steamboat Springs! Originally from upstate NY, we moved to Chicago for 15 years before visiting Steamboat and subsequently moving here 28 years ago. While on a business trip to Romania, John was quite taken with the Romanian people and the plight of their economy. He discovered the best way to help them was to hire them for their crafts. Therefore, this property has been finished using Romanian marble, European cherry wood and wrought iron all hand crafted by individual people and villages.

The property is located just under the gondola on Ski Trail Lane. Our heated, back staircase leads you down from the house to only cross the street and ski out to the base of the mountain. Ski-in is just as simple.

The Gondola Suite has 1 king bed, queen sofa sleeper and twin sleeper. It has a full kitchen featuring a Viking gas range and pot filler. There are 2 flat screen TVs and gas fireplaces.
We are dog and kid friendly. THIS IS A NON-SMOKING HOUSE with wireless internet throughout. There is a laundry room on site for our guest's use.
We live in the main portion of the house, offering 5 private guest suites for nightly/weekly rental. (There is no shared living space.) A perfect setting for a multi-family trip, traveling together but each having a private suite & bathroom. We are steamboat pet friendly.c and extremely welcoming to dogs (sorry no cats) for a $75 per dog flat fee. There is a shared fenced in yard surrounding our guest suites. Currently, Steamboat/Hayden airport HDN, has non-stop service to Houston and Denver. Winter brings many more non-stop flights including daily Southwest flights!

Steps to restaurants and bars.

On free bus route to base area and downtown (comes by every 10 minutes)

Parking lot (2 spaces unassigned) - RVs, campers, trailers, etc are not allowed to be parked in the lot or street per the neighborhood HOA.

No smoking or pets allowed.

Enter Ski Trail 102, which is on the ground level, from the parking lot with no stairs required. There is a keyless lock on the door and you will be provided a door code 48 hours before your arrival. Inside the entryway is a cozy living room area with two couches, coffee table, gas fireplace and a large flat screen TV that has both cable and streaming services.

The dining room has seats for 4 that make allow your whole group to dine together or play one of many games that are inside the condo. The living room has two separate couches, one that pulls out into a sofa bed. The large flat screen TV is located right above the gas fireplace which makes the perfect setting to watch a movie or your favorite sports game.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to feel right at home and cook all of your favorite meals.

Past the entry area is a hallway that leads to both bedrooms.

Straight ahead is the Guest Bedroom that has a full over full bunkbed. The full over full bunkbed is great for any group of friends, kids or adults! There is a closet that has a box fan and humidifier for your connivence.

The Master Bedroom is on the right side of the hallway and has an ensuite bathroom. The Master bathroom features a tub/shower combination and a single sink. The Master Bedroom has a king size bed, flat screen TV and a small desk area for remote working. There are plenty of pillows for you to be comfortable and a humidifier and box fan.

But the manager met us, fixed it, and gave us a small refund for the trouble.
