This is a wonderful remodeled apartment located in the heart of Glenwood Springs in a historic building. The place is within walking distance to the Glenwood Springs Hot Springs Pool, Glenwood Adventure Company, Amtrak Train Station, Vapor Caves, and Iron Mountain Hot Springs. After turning off 4 mile and driving over the creek, you will arrive at Casa del Sol by walking up flagstone patio steps and entering a spacious, sunny studio. There is a bedroom nook with a comfortable king size bed, a fully stocked kitchen, cozy kitchen table, and a large soft couch for relaxing. There is a spacious bathroom which includes a closet and a washer and dryer. The living space has multiple wide windows looking out to the mountains. You have your own balcony where you can enjoy the views of Mount Sopris. The vaulted 20-foot ceiling allows there to be a comfortable open loft accessible by a ladder where you will find a full bed and living space.
Casa del Sol is perfect if you are hoping to experience the mountain town life and yet be able to retreat to a quieter space - or if you want to be a 10-minute drive away from Sunlight Ski Resort. Casa del Sol is uniquely located between Glenwood Springs and Sunlight Mountain Resort- each one about 5 miles away on Four Mile Road.
Casa Del Sol is great for couples but can accommodate up to 4 guests. Please note, that Casa Del Sol has a studio style layout, thus privacy is limited if the group is more than a couple.
Please also note that the driveway serves 3 other residences, spread out on more than 10 acres (plus 10 acres of mountainside). The nearest house is 30 yards away. Casa Del Sol sits on top of a garage, which is simply used for storage (not cars). We live in the next house over, and we have great relationships with each of our neighbors. The families include children and a few friendly dogs.

Where the driveway crosses the creek, there is a small field on one side (for playing ball and running around), and on the other side an open area with horseshoes and creek access. This area is open to guests as well as neighbors (but you will usually have the space to yourself). There is no fishing at the creek (but there are several rivers in the area that boast world-class fly fishing). In the spring the creek will be much higher, slowing to a meandering stream in the summer.

In the summer, the hike up Ski Sunlight is beautiful and quiet - you will often find yourself the only one there. Four Mile Park offers hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking. If you are a runner or biker- Dry Park Road is less than a mile up Four Mile, and offers 8 miles of compacted dirt road which meanders through open ranch land and sagebrush. You can access Carbondale if you keep driving, 11 miles total. This is near the Spring Gulch Nordic Ski Center, a wonderful place to classic or skate ski in the winter.

Ski Resorts: Ski Sunlight is a short ten-minute drive up the road. Sunlight offers a wide variety of terrain, with a friendly local charm.
Aspen is forty miles away - and boasts four world-class resorts - Snowmass, Highlands, Buttermilk and Ajax. The crowds in Aspen are minimal compared to the resorts closer to the front range.
For more world-class skiing, Vail and Beaver Creek are an hour away to the east.

THE SPACE
The is an open floor plan with a comfortably furnished living room and a flat screen TV. There are two nicely appointed bedrooms with antique furnishings, one with a queen bed and the other with a double bed and a twin bed. All new mattresses as of 2022!

Situated on over five acres between Silt and Rifle, this relaxing getaway is surrounded by open space and beautiful views! Located less than five minutes from public hunting (Area 42) and public Colorado River fishing access, it is the perfect home base for the outdoor enthusiast. Alternatively, a five minute drive to I-70 will find you centrally located among the many activities of Glenwood Springs, Rifle and Grand Junction. State parks, hot springs, skiing and wineries are all only a short drive away.

The bedroom, privately located on the lower level, is nicely furnished with a queen bed, sitting area and writing desk. In addition, the living room has a sleeper sofa for a third guest.

The well equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. An outdoor gas grill is also available.

Start your day with a cup of warm coffee on the porch while enjoying the beautiful mountain views; and end it by watching a movie on the 65" television or gathered around the fire pit, reminiscing about your day's adventures.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW: This rental is one of three newly renovated units located on a five acre parcel of land between New Castle and Silt, Colorado. Each unit has its own bedroom(s), bathroom, kitchen, dining room and living room. In addition, each unit has its own designated outdoor space including porch, outdoor gas grill, yard, fire ring and parking.

All of the units have separate entrances and no shared indoor spaces. However, the units are adjoining, so there is some potential for noise (although we do ask all guests to please be mindful of one another by observing quiet time between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.). You may also see others enjoying their designated outdoor area on the property during your stay.

The owners occupy one unit for part of the year and will gladly offer any assistance. The other unit is another vacation rental. Larger groups are welcome to rent both units, which will accommodate up to eight (8) guests. Please inquire if interested.

AMENITY LIMITATIONS: • This home does not have a dishwasher or central air conditioning. A portable air conditioner is located in the living room during the hottest months and a floor fan is provided. • The cellular service can be spotty at times. • Iron and ironing board available upon request.

• This home’s location is incorrect on several GPS platforms! Please follow the directions AND map link which will be sent to you along with the keyless entry door code one day prior to your arrival.
• The property owners occupy one of the units for part of the year and will gladly offer any assistance.

Alternatively, a five minute drive to I-70 will find you centrally located among the many activities of Glenwood Springs, Rifle and Grand Junction. State parks, hot springs, skiing and wineries are all only a short drive away.

This apartment is located on the lower level of the home.

Both bedrooms are both nicely furnished with a queen bed and sitting area. The living room has a pull out sofa.

The well equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. An outdoor gas grill is also available.

Start your day with a cup of warm coffee on the porch while enjoying the beautiful mountain views; and end it by watching a movie on the large flatscreen television or gathered around the fire pit, reminiscing about your day's adventures.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW: This rental is one of three newly renovated units located on a five acre parcel of land between New Castle and Silt, Colorado. Each unit has its own bedroom(s), bathroom, kitchen, dining room and living room. All of the units have separate entrances and no shared indoor spaces. The TV in the bedroom has a ROKU with channels. Example media available is Netflix, Discovery+, Hulu, Peacock, Prime, ABC, NBC, ESPN, and more. If a desired channel is not available, we will do our best to add it for your stay!

Enjoy walking in our quiet little neighborhood on numerous walking/biking paths and explore the parks nearby. There is an off-leash dog park across the street. The apartment is just an 8 minute drive from downtown Glenwood Springs where you can find all of the attractions, such as hot springs, numerous fantastic restaurants, shopping, fishing, rafting, etc. Sunlight Ski resort is only about 15 minutes away, and the ski slopes of Aspen/Snowmass are about 50 minutes away. We can provide many recommendations for things to do in the Roaring Fork Valley!

The space
This lower level apartment boasts of new furniture, a spacious bedroom, a bathroom with washer and dryer, and a fully functioning kitchenette (minus an oven). There is a two burner electric stovetop available for use. The cozy space is private and comfortable and offers an outdoor patio area where you can sip a cup of coffee while enjoying the sunshine. (Coffee/Tea provided).

The spacious bedroom has a queen-sized mattress with a goose down duvet and extra blankets. A Smart TV is available for online movie watching (must have own accounts to watch - Netflix, Amazon, Google, etc as we don't provide TV service).

Can sleep 2 people. The futon (couch) in the main room unfolds into a double bed, linens, blankets and pillows provided. There is an extra charge of $25/person per night, for more than 2 guests (ie - kids).

The bathroom has a walk-in shower and seat where you can clean off after a fun day out in the mountains.

The kitchenette is supplied with everything from a medium size refrigerator and freezer, pots & pans, toaster, and a coffee maker. No oven, but there is a 2-burner electric cooktop.

The Rock’n Ranch sits on just over 13 acres and are continuously working towards being a self sustainable home for our family. We live in the main area of the brick home, the previous owners converted the 2 car garage into a mother in law suite years ago. We recently remodeled it for guests to enjoy our beautiful country side with us.
We operate a construction business out of the large shop. Additionally, we encourage all to explore our pond, the animals and expanding garden/orchard.

You have complete and sole access to the apartment. It is not a shared space, it’s equipped with all the items you need to cook meals, eat and relax.

This private, locked off apartment is located on the lower floor of a two story home. There is a large patio area just outside the entrance door, complete with table and chairs, and access to the front yard. Please do not access the backyard or garage, as it is private.

I do live upstairs, and request quiet hours after midnight.

Guest access
There are two free parking spaces: 1 in the driveway and 1 anywhere along the street curb. The driveway is fairly steep with no turnaround at the top, so if you are uncomfortable with backing down, I recommend parking at the bottom along the street and walking up. Otherwise, there is a parking spot available in the driveway at the base of the stairs, next to the blue and white trailer.

Please do not park behind garage as you will block me in/out.

Please be respectful that I have a strict no-pet policy. If you are bringing a service animal, I would appreciate the heads up as I also have pets on the property who occasionally go outside. Should a pet other than a true service animal be brought onto the property, a $250 additional fee will be charged, plus any damage or cleaning fees.

The space
Situated on over five acres between Silt and Rifle, this peaceful retreat is surrounded by open space and beautiful views! Located less than five minutes from public hunting (Area 42) and public Colorado River fishing access, it is the perfect home base for the outdoor enthusiast. Alternatively, a five minute drive to I-70 will find you centrally located among the many activities of Glenwood Springs, Rifle and Grand Junction. State parks, hot springs, skiing and wineries are all only a short drive away.

This apartment is located on the lower level of the home.

Both bedrooms are both nicely furnished with a queen bed and sitting area. The living room has a pull out sofa.

The well equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. An outdoor gas grill is also available.

Start your day with a cup of warm coffee on the porch while enjoying the beautiful mountain views; and end it by watching a movie on the large flatscreen television or gathered around the fire pit, reminiscing about your day's adventures.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW: This rental is one of three newly renovated units located in a single residence on a five acre parcel of land between New Castle and Silt, Colorado. Each unit has its own bedroom(s), bathroom, kitchen, dining room and living room. In addition, each unit has its own designated outdoor space including porch, outdoor gas grill, yard, fire ring and parking.

All of the units have separate entrances and no shared indoor spaces. However, the units are adjoining, so there is some potential for noise (although we do ask all guests to please be mindful of one another by observing quiet time between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.). You may also see others enjoying their designated outdoor area on the property during your stay.

The owners occupy one unit for part of the year and will gladly offer any assistance. The other unit is another vacation rental. Larger groups are welcome to rent both units, which will accommodate up to eight (8) guests. Please inquire if interested.

Our Glenwood Springs home is a 2000 sq ft home divided into two private separate living units. The unit you will be renting is the upper street level apartment of 1000sq ft. This is the main private entrance to the house. Our son, who care takes the house, lives downstairs and has his own entrance in the lower level apartment. It is a quiet residential area located within walking distance to the major attractions in Glenwood Springs. There is a large private outside Deck overlooking town.

Located downtown Glenwood Springs, Co. this is a great place to stay when you want to play in the mountains we have skiing,rafting, hiking, biking, shopping and night life. The loft is facing the Colorado river and what we locals like to call restaurant row in the heart of Glenwood.

The space
This apartment is completely remodeled, located on the side of the main house, to get to the apartment you would have to go down some stairs while enjoying the amazing view of Glenwood springs.
parking is located at the top of the property, the apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, living room, dinning room and kitchen. There is no dishwasher in the kitchen.
The main bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and a small full bathroom inside the bedroom, the second bedroom has a full and twin bunk beds (small room but comfortable) , Main full bathroom with washer and dryer in hallway. pack and play is stored in main bedroom closet along with bedding for infants, There is no forced AC there is a swamp cooler and ceiling fans that makes it fresh and cool. Living room has a sofa bed

The space
Our goal with our home is for you to have F-U-N! Sip cocktails, sun bathe, barbecue or watch the sunset from our huge rooftop patio furnished with outdoor dining and a comfortable sitting area. Or relax indoors in the air conditioning, a rarity in town. The large living area is perfect for movie watching or family games.

Our home is only blocks from all of Glenwood's finest restaurants, hiking trails, the Hot Springs, gold medal fishing on the Roaring Fork River, and the paved bike path from Aspen to Glenwood Canyon. Enjoy the summer farmer's market just around the corner. Leave your car at home and take the Amtrak, just 3 blocks away.

There is room for the whole family plus a friend or two. One bedroom has a king bed with a pull-out trundle bed option for little ones. The second bedroom has queen and twin beds. The couch in the living area converts to a queen bed.

THE SPACE
The is an open floor plan with a comfortably furnished living room and a flat screen TV. There are two nicely appointed bedrooms with antique furnishings, one with a queen bed and the other with a double bed and a twin bed. All new mattresses as of 2022!

The partial kitchen with a small breakfast bar area is equipped for preparing simple meals and there is additional outdoor seating for 6 and a gas grill to enjoy the beautiful river scenery. Adirondack chairs and a small picnic table are also available on the Roaring Fork River beach.

Enjoy time spent on the beautiful patio, casting a line or with a picnic dinner at the river's edge and experience total relaxation while listening to the soothing sounds of the rushing waters of the Roaring Fork River. Whether you seek an adventurous mountain getaway or a peaceful riverside retreat, this is the ideal home base!

Due to the proximity of the river to the home, extreme caution must be used with young children.

The owners are part time residents and occasionally occupy the upper level of the home however there are no shared spaces and the apartment is completely separate and private.
