You've found a very unique and special property. This 1-Bedroom cabin is pet friendly and has a private hot tub, something you will have a hard time finding anywhere else in this area. It is located on a working ranch, so you could even bring a horse if you wanted too. The ranch is just 9 miles west of downtown Steamboat Springs, at the base of Elk Mountain, also known as "Sleeping Giant." ​​​​​​​The ranch is quite close to the Elk River and its confluence with the Yampa River. This is a beautiful rural area that is pretty darn close and convenient to town. Access is pretty easy. You'll be on Highway 40 for all but the last 2 miles, which are on a well maintained, virtually flat Routt County road.

The cabin was the first home on the ranch, so it is old and rustic, yet modernized in all the right ways. It features hardwood floors, a wood stove, a private hot tub, HDTV, and sleeper sofa. The private hot tub is right outside the cabin and provides a very relaxing place to do some stargazing. Summer guests will enjoy the extra bit of outdoor space provided by the paver patio.

There are a few important things to know and consider before booking this property. Pets are welcome, when discussed & approved in advance. Please contact us before booking to discuss your pet or pets, as well as pet rules. The cabin is not huge and the bedroom ceiling is a bit low by the head of the bed, around 5 feet high there. This is a cozy cabin ideal for couples or tight knit group of 3 to 4. The bedroom is separated from the main living space, but there is no door for privacy. Depending upon time of year, this 2000 acre ranch is home to 100-200 head of cattle. You might see some and you might not. The cabin is quite close to the main ranch house, and your hosts. So you will have friendly neighbors close by, and help if you need something, but you will not have a cabin in complete solitude either. Though access is pretty easy, 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive is recommended in winter. Pets, Horses, ATVs, Snowmobiles are okay, and there's plenty of parking for trailers.

The upper level includes the King master suite and its own private bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The second upstairs bedroom also has a King bed. The other upstairs full bathroom is off the hallway, is newly remodeled and has a walk in shower.

The lower level two bed rooms include another King bedroom and a queen over twin bunk room. They share the newly remodeled full bathroom featuring a double vanity, stone countertops and tile and a walk in glass shower.

The lower level deck is slope side. Just take your skis and snowboards and step into your bindings and off you go!

- "Beautiful views and a great place to stay. Very comfortable and the amenities were perfect. Highly recommended." - "7 of us (all adults) stayed in this 4BR townhouse at Steamboat Springs. Views from the large windows in the back were lovely, with snow in the trees and skiers zipping down the ski trail in the canyon below. The kitchen was set up nicely so we could cook breakfast each morning. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were clean and pretty (though the master bedroom hot tub jets didn't turn on). The open plan living room space held comfy sofas and recliner chairs looking out the large glass windows to the skiing below. All the bedrooms had beautiful views out the windows. We didn't rent a car, using a shuttle to get back and forth from the airport, the Storm Meadows shuttle system to get to the base and back, the iTrip shuttle to go door-to-door to wherever, and the free buses to get around town (shuttle drivers warned us that walking from the townhouse to the base was not recommended because there are no sidewalk). The public shuttle system ran every half hour from early morning to 4:50PM, while the iTrip shuttle could be requested up to 10PM with 1 hour notice. This required a bit of planning as we had to specify dropoff and pickup times for dinner, but iTrip was flexible and when dinner ran late we could call to delay pickup. Ski-out was a bit tricky as you had to exit the sliding glass doors on the lowest level and then drop perhaps 20 feet to the ski trail below. We cut a diagonal path through the deep snow to reduce the slope and make it easier to descend while wearing skis. Skiing back worked better if you removed your skis and hiked up the path. The back doors did not have combination locks so one person had to climb up around the townhouse, open the combination lock on the front door, then unlock the sliding glass doors on the bottom level. Some days some of us just skied to the base, then took the Storm Meadows shuttle to townhouse #1, and then hiked up a block or so to #21. Shuttle service was predictable and reliable and great. This was a memorable trip for us, and we all loved this rental!"

Bright 2 bedroom, 1 bath Log Cabin in quiet residential Downtown Steamboat Springs (6 block walk to Main St). Perfect for couples or small families & 1 quiet well behaved dog. Huge fenced yard, large deck & gas grill. The Cabin is in a neighborhood but feels very secluded because of the 100+ yr old Spruce trees and Willows that surround you. Great views from both decks! Cabin has a wood stove in the LR, a well supplied full kitchen, TV, WiFi, parking for 2 cars. Live the life of a true local in this charming, bright, comfortable home. This is one of the original log cabins in the Yahmonite area of Old Town Steamboat Springs. The kitchen was recently updated but the house is still the original warm and inviting 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin it's always been, with lots of character and charm. AND it sits on a huge lot with lots of space to play!

When requesting your dates PLEASE INCLUDE A REQUEST FOR YOUR WELL BEHAVED DOG. DOGS MUST BE PRE-APPROVED! Guest Dogs must be Kennel/Crate Trained and bring their own kennel and bed. Dogs cannot be left unattended in the cabin unless in a kennel.

During the winter months, guests are required to do their own snow removal. I supply shovels and a snow blower and will teach you how to use it. The paths and porches must be kept up with the shoveling. Failure to do so will incur fees. During Summer months guests will be responsible for mowing occasionally. A lawn mower will be provided.

It had plenty of space for everyone and had a number of games there to play if we wanted. The private outdoor hot tub was perfectly clean and had a beautiful view of the mountains. We only used the private shuttle twice and it was on time and a great option to have. When we didn’t use the shuttle the bus stop was only a short walk away -easy access. My adult son drove from Denver so we did have a car for a couple days and it was nice to have the garage when it did snow. The place had everything we needed and was very clean when we arrived. Itrip vacations was quick and responsive with any questions or requests that we had -I would definitely book with them again as well as Latigo lodge.!! They really made things easy!!!! The updated kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need for cooking a meal and offers gorgeous granite counters and stainless steel appliances.

The dining table right off the kitchen has six chairs and there are three bar stools at the kitchen counter.

Off the living area is deck with beautiful views of the slopes and valley, plus a gas grill and outdoor dining table and chairs.

Four bedrooms are dispersed on the upper and lower levels and ensure plenty of space and privacy for your group.

Two king en suites are on the upper level. One offers a large bathroom with both a large separate soaking tub and walk in shower, as well as a two sink vanity. The bedroom has a dresser, closet storage and a flat screen TV. The other features stunning views, a flat screen TV, dresser, closet and it also has its own bathroom with a walk in shower. There is a nice sitting area outside the en suites.

The Snowflake Getaway is a recently remodeled townhome conveniently located in Flattops View Village on Steamboat Mountain. On the main level of the house, a cozy living room with stone fireplace along with a well-equipped kitchen for all your meal prepping needs. A large dining room table that seats 8 and 4 more spots up at the kitchen bar to accommodate a group. A large private hot tub is located off the back porch for guests to enjoy.

The kitchen features brand-new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and pine cabinets, and it's stocked with everything you need to entertain guests or create that perfect family meal. The open floor plan opens to the dining and living room areas. The living area features a new large, plush sectional sofa with a queen sleeper. Warm up by the gas fireplace or lounge on the sofa while you take in your favorite show on the flat-screen TV. The patio is located just off of the living room. Walk outside and enjoy a hot cup of coffee or cocoa, or an evening cocktail as you watch the sunset.

The first bedroom has a queen bed, a large closet, and allows plenty of sunshine through the large windows. Retreat to your bedroom early and enjoy your favorite show or movie on the flat-screen TV. The Rockies complex is located just 400 yards from the ski base area / Gondola Square. You can take the complimentary shuttle or free city bus to the base area, or warm up with a walk, as the ski slopes are only about 5 minutes away. The Rockies complex has a large heated outdoor pool, coin-operated laundry facility, 2 hot tubs, a (seasonal) gas BBQ grilling area, very large parking lot. During the summer, there is also a sand volleyball court in the back.
