- "My partner, her daughter and I stayed here for one week for a ski trip. We drove from England and it was easy to find and has a secluded car park. Booking in was easy and we were shown to our room. We didn't try breakfast but we had dinner one night and it was really good. Its a proper french restaurant with a great chef, good service and rich wine list. There is some good communal areas with board games and tables. They also have a bar across the road that is a very nice and family friendly place for a drink after the slopes. In the carpark they have an excellent ski store and just inside the hotel is a place for boots and coats. My only slight niggle with the hotel is that there was no kettle available. Bring your own. Next door is an excellent ski hire shop with new boots and boards which were freshly waxed. The slopes were great for skiiers and families and the ski school was great too. Next to the bar was a newsagents and souvenirs shop. Just down the road a lovely french food shop/bakery. Abondance is a great family ski resort and this hotel is perfectly positioned in it. I would definitely come back."

- "A great apartment on the ground floor with balcony on west side. Very well equipped kitchen with oven, separate microwave, mixer and dishwasher. Cleaning stuff already onsite, vacuum cleaner and even a washing machine available. Ok beds for people up to 1.90m and relatively hard sleeping couch. Communication with owner very friendly although all in French. Through google translate it worked for us. Free Car parking and skies storing in the underground garage. Even small sleds available for kids. Conclusion: perfect apartment for 2 persons or three (and possible 4) without privacy. Only downside is that busses do not drive regularly to the central skiing hubs. Better to have a car available."
