- "Nice staff. Good location for an economical ski trip" - "So the double rooms have three beds in them, and the triple rooms also have three beds in them… there is no difference between them besides the cost. The lad on reception has no clue about anything. On the first day we asked about rental shops for skis and they said they’re nothing in Saint Etienne, only to find one right by the ski lift! I extended our stay by 1 night and annoyingly had to change rooms after the first night. Our first room was alright, they were rationing the toilet paper but it was fine. The second room was the same as the first even though they charge more for it, again rationed toilet paper, but to top it off the radiator wasn’t working. Raised the lack of heating to the lad on reception and he came and had a look and told me nothing could be done as their technician was away. He gave us an additional quilt but didn’t put a cover on it. My step mum spoke to him (in French) and all of a sudden the technician was available to come in. We spoke to him in the morning to check when the technician would be in and the lad said he’d already been in (must’ve come in while we were asleep) and changed the radiator. It still didn’t work. He said that it did work, even after showing him a video that I took in the morning of it not working. TL: DR the staff are unhelpful, don’t know anything aboht the local town, all the rooms are triples and the food is overpriced rubbish. Go the to cafe and boulangerie, it’s cheaper and better food."

- "Met my needs for a short ski trip, would stay again" - "Difficult to find as there’s only a building name and no house number and three buildings look the same. Mobile and internet coverage is virtually none so it was difficult to call and took an hour until someone brought the keys. Apartment is fine but needs some attention. The sofa bed is broken and difficult to open. It is missing a screw in one side of the support and is bent. One leg is in the air when folded and it dips down in the other corner. Fridge is very old and too cold even in medium. It froze half of our food. No ski locker for this apartment and there’s a sign downstairs that you can’t walk in with ski boots. cleaning could be better. Generally ok and a typical small ski apartment, could be improved a lot with a few upgrades and a thorough clean. No instructions for heating or towel rail (could not get it to work) or where the rubbish bins are. Location is good, about 5 mins on foot to the lively vibrant square. Ski shuttle about 40m away and runs every 15 minutes. Apartment is very warm even with minus temperatures outside and no heating (it was set to morning and evening but never came in until we turned it up). Plenty of pots and dishes. Beds comfortable and towels and linen very clean. Thomas is a very nice and responsive host."
