Walk into Bentota via the beach was about 20-minutes or 5-minutes in a Tuk Tuk. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. We loved our stay. "

The food was great, to be able to eat on the pool terrace and walk straight out to the beach was amazing. The hotel was clean and the sfaff freinedly and super attentive. Mahesh who worked in the hotel looked after us liek royalty and we canot thank him and his team enough. The chap that worked in the dining room (i cant remeber his name) had seen i loved the fresh fruit every morning, so one day suprised me with their best fruit platter. Such a kind gesture. We have learned over the last few years that 5star is different in different countries and you have to accept this, having said this management at this resort is working hard and they will get there but the prices will change also . The setting is superb , so calm and relaxing especially when you have been out for the day in the mad traffic.
