But late opening is nice due to heat of the city so allows relaxation. Breakfast buffet manager Prabha Kant ensured I got my eggs royale every morning. Near to markets, shops, facilities and bus stop that takes you direct to main train and bus station in 5 mins. Lots of cheap restaurants near by. Away from all the tourist trap nonsense. Manager Mittu Alex was helpful in all my queries. Only problem is that the hotel requires a re-decoration as the decor looks tired. Otherwise, cannot complain about the price and facilities. "

The staff at the hotel were exceptional—polite, friendly, and always willing to help with any questions or needs. Special thanks to the lady manager who stepped in to resolve an issue with my booking. Although I booked through Expedia, wasn’t informed hotel that the booking didn’t account for my child, and the hotel initially requested an additional fee. Fortunately, the manager handled it professionally and efficiently, allowing us to enjoy our stay without further issues. One word of caution: be careful when booking through Expedia. I tried to contact them about the discrepancy, but received no response. Based on my experience, it might be better to book directly with the hotel to avoid any confusion. Overall, Uday Samudra Leisure Beach Hotel exceeded our expectations, and I would gladly stay here again. - "Beach front" - "We had a great two weeks in the hotel with the staff being very flexible in accommodating us. The hotel is metres away from the beach, we had a sea view room with air conditioning which was very pleasant. However, the photos of the hotel on Expedia we saw are at least 20 years old and the hotel is no way a 4* hotel by western standards. There is no restaurant as part of the hotel any more, although there is a breakfast room which seems to get food from a neighbouring hotel. We were given western breakfast options (cereals, toast, eggs etc) each day, along with fresh cut fruits and coffee. There are a large number of restaurants within walking distance, along the beachfront, and we ate at least twice in the ones we visited. The majority of tourists during our visit were Indian including a large number of family groups, but we were made to feel welcome. Overall, glad we chose this hotel for our Christmas getaway"
