Bathroom and flooring remodeled/updated as well as it appears bed is new. Other furniture and vanity, art and walls appear to still be in process but that didn’t give a cause for concern or issue to our one night stay. Hopefully they’ll add usb and usb-c ports as they continue to update. Breakfast offered was a full hot breakfast along with continental options. Make your own waffle and oatmeal stations too all of which were clean and well stocked. There are signs indicating the hotel is under remodeling yet it’s being managed well to cause minimal concern for guests. Every staff person encountered was pleasant and helpful. It’s very clean and basic, no luxuries but that’s to be expected for this brand of hotel at such a competitive low rate but still providing excellent service, cleanliness. Highly recommend. "

We have 5 acres of rolling hills and hardwood forest, directly on 400' of waterfront. Plenty of space to let the kids and pets run around! Only 45 minutes from Charlotte, but worlds away from the hustle and bustle.

Moss Lake is a quiet, spring-fed lake that is very clean (it’s the primary water supply for Kings Mountain) where you can canoe, fish, water ski and jet ski without the mayhem of other lakes near Charlotte. Close to Kings Mountain, Historic Shelby, Crowders Mountain, Schiele Museum, golf courses AND other attractions - there is plenty to do if you want to get out and about.

The waterfront includes a large private dock with mooring cleats, only a few minutes from a public landing so getting your boat there is a breeze! With state-record bass, it’s perfect for early morning anglers; with stunning views, it’s also perfect for a sunset canoe or kayak ride (both are available for your use). Or, kick into high gear with your jet ski or power boat. Whatever your pleasure, you’ll enjoy your water sports away from the crowds for a relaxing and fun experience.

On the property is a charming farmhouse with two bedrooms and one full bath and one half bath specifically set up for accommodating and entertaining large groups (owners have 5 kids, who all bring their friends for overnight sleep-overs!) Plenty of clothing storage to be found in either the free-standing dresser, or the drawers built into the bunk bed. Closet also has clothes hangers and a wire rack.

SIDE PORCH

Our home is a part of a duplex. It has been freshly remodeled throughout. It has a spacious living room with a 50 inch smart TV.

The entertainment center houses a number of different games, board games, puzzles, and even a paint by numbers canvas. You can also find a foot massager to use while relaxing. We provide an aromatic diffuser with a number of different oils. There is a Bible, and a notepad if needed.

We also have a large crate available for our furry friends in the living room.

Our King bedroom has a bed stand, surge protectors with USB ports to make using and charging your electronics more comfortable, a large computer desk, plus bamboo wardrobe to put your clothes. The closet houses extra linen if needed, baby high chair, pack and play, extra folding chairs and table for a big group, among other essentials.

The bunk bed room has a custom queen over queen bunk bed. All pillows and beds have waterproof and microbial protectors underneath the linen and pillow cases. There is a metal wardrobe to store clothing. We also have children toys for boys and girls in the toy chest, a dedicated worktable, a dresser, two surge protectors with USB ports, and an alarm clock. This room is adjacent to the other units bathroom, so when the tub is in use noise does filter through. We have done our best to soundproof the room, but please be advised that you will still be able to hear noises.

The kitchen has been fully stocked with plates, bowls, cups, wine glasses, silverware, kids dinnerware, cooking utensils, bakeware, mixing and measuring cups, and more. Among the appliances we offer include an instant pot, an air fryer, a cappuccino machine, a Keurig coffee maker, a popcorn maker, a single serve blender, and a toaster in addition to the stove and microwave. We also have a reverse osmosis system that provides clean drinking water as well as hot water.

The table can seat 8 people comfortably. For larger groups, move the table away from the wall and use the benches for extra seating.

We provide cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, a humidifier, a portable heater, an iron and ironing board for your convenience.

Outdoors, you will find a carport with a patio table and rocking chair and a charcoal grill. The shed houses a corn hole set, and a mini golf mat. The backyard is fully fenced with a privacy fence and screened cover. There are doggie bags provided for your convenience as well.

This newly renovated home has 6 bedrooms total with 2 bedrooms on the main level. There's a beautiful master king bedroom filled with windows and an ensuite bathroom (freestanding tub and a tiled shower). There's also a queen sleeper sofa in the bedroom. The other bedroom has a full size bed and a chair that opens into a twin size futon.
The main level has a kitchen, large dining area, living room (2 queen sofa beds), a room with a pool table/ ping pong table combo or you can use it as a dining table. On the main level there's also a sitting area with a TV and another huge living room that we call the pool room because it comes right off the pool deck and has a kitchenette, full bathroom, a TV, and both sofas open up to queen sized beds.
Upstairs you'll find another master king bedroom (also a chair that opens to a twin futon) with a brand new ensuite bathroom consisting of a beautiful tiled shower and a freestanding bathtub.
Down the hall there are 2 king bedrooms (each with a chair that opens into a twin futon) and a bunk bed room with trundle (3 twins). These bedrooms share a hallway bathroom with a shower.
There's a huge yard with plenty of room for the kids to play. You are very close to uptown Shelby, the Cleveland Country Club, fairgrounds, or drive 45 minutes to Charlotte or 1.25 hours to Asheville .
You're in the middle of town, but tucked away on 5 acres of wooded land.

The kitchen is super spacious and fully stocked with a island that has bar stools so people can socialize with using the kitchen. Please place dishes in dishwasher on departure and start them. The light switch to the right of sink (the middle one) operates the dishwasher.

The house is an open type floor plan area with kitchen, living room and dinning room. Windows wall length to enjoy all the wonderful scenery the home has to offer. Gas Fire place to enjoy in the colder months.

BALCONY

This home has multiple balconies for you to enjoy your morning coffee while viewing all the nature. The top level deck is located off of the Master Suite. The newly updated kitchen has lots of counter space & stainless-steel appliances. The center island features 2 added barstool seats making it easy to grab a quick bite to eat. - "What a lovely "home away from home"! I was in town to settle the estate and home of my late sister and, at my friends' urging, booked this VRBO house instead of a hotel. Brilliant! We had a roomy, lovely, clean, and relaxing home base during a sad time. We cooked, could truly relax on comfy chairs and sofas, and even had local friends for dinner our last night in town (plenty of room at the dining table for friends). Beds were super comfortable, with breathable, silky sheets. We had a couple of questions and our host was extremely responsive and helpful. This was a wonderful experience and I recommend the host and the property."

The living room has a Custom slate pool table (which cannot be moved, it was set up on site), arcade machine, large flat screen SMART TV with streaming capabilities mounted above the fireplace, bar with seating, comfortable seating for lounging, and Murphey bed in the wall.

- "This property needs a lot of work. I book this stay last minute for a work assignment and I had a bad experience from the beginning I didn’t received a code for the door prior to arrival and I had driven 7.5 hours. When I did arrive I tried contacting the property owner for check in instructions and I could not reach him. I contacted VRBO and they were able to reach him hours later. When the property owner arrived he did have the correct key to enter the property. To make a long story shorter I got a hotel room the first 2 nights and I requested a refund due to not being able to access the property when I arrive and I was advised I couldn’t get a refund so I stayed at the property because I didn’t want to loose my money I paid. I would NEVER recommend this property to anyone it was a HORRIBLE experienced for me!!!! There were spiders and roaches in the home I went to the store and purchased a can of roach spray. "
