- "We enjoyed our stay. Relaxed on porch had a fire in the pit used dock for jetski and rented pontoon boat, fishing and swimming. Only complaint would be the outside deck had small ants that bit on the bench seats" - "House was what the pictures showed. Nicely stocked kitchen (could use a few more coffee cups). Nice quiet cove that allows for the use of the dock to fish, kayak or just take a swim (water was rather warm). Made great use of the back porch and upper deck to enjoy the mornings and water. Both areas are nicely lite at night. A place where everyone can relax and enjoy the surroundings. The house is secluded but not far from stores and resturants. Must visit Papa Docks resturant for it was amazing food. You must go hungry for the portions were large. If you get to watch the friday ski show on the water, do so. It was amazing and worth the time to watch. You can see from the dock, but the neighbors next door on the point was nice and allowed us to watch from their back yard on the point. Did get visits from the friendly neighborhood dog Chesney from nextdoors and later from Deacon who lived down the road. Both were friendly and it was enjoyable. Thanks again."

Our waterfront home, only 20 minutes from uptown CLT and Rock Hill, is nestled on the glorious shores of Lake Wylie in Charlotte, NC. It's one of the rare properties on the lake with its’ own sprawling private beach - ideal for young children and families to enjoy (and pups too!). This 4300 SF family-style home boasts 5 bedrooms (4 king & 1 queen bed w/ pneumatic adjustable head and foot tilt mechanism) and 4 full baths making it a perfect get-away vacation. The huge open-concept living room, dining room, and kitchen is ideal for the big family gathering.

Our home is convenient to all the surrounding area has to offer (mall, restaurants, grocery, marina are all less than 5 minutes from the house). Even though you are close to retail shops and malls, you'll escape from the busy world when you arrive to this house as you feel secluded on the huge, wooded lot privately separating you from the neighboring homes.

ON-SITE PONTOON BOAT NOW AVAILABLE TO RENT:
This house is one of the only lake homes around Charlotte with a Pontoon Boat available to rent for the duration of your stay. The Boat is NOT INCLUDED in the price of the home (they are owned by company we partner with as they are the only business offering Multi-Day rentals on Lake Wylie). No more needing to pay $500/day to rent from the Marina only to stress out about getting it back before 4PM to avoid late fees. Boating should be a relaxing and fun experience --- Take the boat out when you want -- not when you are tethered to a reservation that may turn out to be a rainy day. This was the most common request from our renters so that's why we collaborated with a local Boat Rental company to give you the option to rent the boat at the end of our dock. The pontoon boat rental comes fully equipped with life jackets and access to all the Watersports equipment you can imagine for a fun, memorable, and safe boating experience! (Watersports toys included in the shed: wakeboard, adult water skis, tubes, 3-person towable couch, kneeboard, slalom ski, children’s training skis, and floating things like noodles or inflatable lounge chairs)

Just ask me in your inquiry if you are interested :) Prices seem to typically range from $1500-1900/week per the Summer and less in the Spring/Fall. The lake is huge -- full of beautiful houses, on the water restaurants with boat parking (Drift & Papa Docs!), and tons of cool Sand Bars and islands to hang out on -- EXPLORE IT!!

The Space:
LIVING AREA:

The bottom level of the home is the huge open-concept family room with lots of seating, a new 4K 70-inch and 80’ OLED Smart TVs with Dish Network, DVR, and Netflix, a long dining room table, wine fridge, and a FULLY stocked kitchen with 2 full size refrigerators, an ice cream making machine, an industrial fruit press to make fresh juice, and a center island with seating. The top level of the home features 2 huge living rooms upstairs and downstairs with windows overlooking another large deck and the lake.

BEDROOMS:

There are 4 bedrooms upstairs 3 full baths (including the spacious king-sized Master Bedroom Suite that overlooks the lake). The 5th bedroom is also a king bed w/ it's own full bath located downstairs. Each of the bedrooms are spacious and private. All towels and linens are provided and washed for you after your stay (guests are welcome to use washer/dryer).

AMENITIES:

Explore the lake on our 2 stand-up Paddle Boards, 2 sit-in Kayaks (+1 children’s kayak) or in our 3 person canoe (just don't forget to wear a life jacket!) We provide 15+ life jackets of all sizes in the lake toys storage shed. We want you to use them!! Be safe out there :) There is a comfy covered patio area right outside the family room complete with seating and a large stainless steel propane grill AND a newly added propane Griddle for the best breakfast and burgers imaginable! The house is equipped with High-speed broadband Wi-Fi internet that works all the way down to the beach.

This home has YouTubeTV on the 7 flat screen TV’s. You can access the high speed wireless internet (FIBER!) from anywhere on the property. The TV’s are located in the living room upstairs, all bedrooms, and den downstairs. We provide a DVD player, and "old school" SNES, N64, and Wii, video consoles & games, and lots of popular card and board games.

***We have a zero-tolerance policy for parties or gatherings. The guest amount on your reservation must match the number of guests that will be on the property at any given time. There is a $1000 fee for any parties or gatherings not permitted by owner. We do utilize local law enforcement if you cannot abide by these rules and you will be asked to vacate at your own expense. This is a smoke free property. Smoking of any kind is not permitted inside the home. There is a $1000 fee for smoking inside.***

Located south of Charlotte on Lake Wylie, and close to Carowinds amusement park, Mom's Cabin has been given rave reviews by fellow travelers. The cabin has a dock, so if you have a boat, or want to rent one, there is a place for it. Fishing, swimming, and games are available to renters.

Mom's Cabin cabin was built in 1967 as a summer vacation spot on a Lake Wylie. In 2004, the cabin was expanded and central heat and air was added. The 1500 square foot cabin has a master bedroom with a king sized bed, a 2nd bedroom with king sized bed, a 3rd bedroom with bunk beds, a living room with DirectTV, a modern kitchen / dining area stocked
with plates, cookery and utensils, two full bathrooms, a large screened-in porch, laundry, and wireless internet.

Mom's Cabin is 10 minutes from Carowinds amusement park, 30 minutes from downtown Charlotte and Charlotte Douglas airport, and 45 minutes from Charlotte Motor Speedway. There are many other local attractions within easy driving distance.

If you have a boat, the property has a dock. There are several launches available on Lake Wylie to put in, and many coves to fish, ski, or just enjoy.

Mom's Cabin is a great place for family vacations, small reunions, or a nice place to stay in the Charlotte area. Mom's Cabin has an overnight limit of 6, and is not equipped to handle large gatherings or events with greater than 12 people. Mom's Cabin is a pet free vacation spot.

Four of the bedrooms have their own full bathrooms. There is also a separate bedroom/den with a new queen sleeper sofa (we slept on 3 different models before deciding on this one). We also have two queen size air mattresses if needed. There is a crib room located off in the Master with a crib, Pack'n'Play, and 2 high chairs. All making it a wonderful, one-of-a-kind, get-away vacation home for a large, activity-seeking family.

SWIM SPA POLICY/RULES *PLEASE READ*
We have recently added a beautiful, new swim spa. By booking this property you agree to the following rules:

-The Primary renter agrees to use extreme caution and care in the hot tub on the premises and to pay all repair charges for damage caused by the renter or the renter’s family members, children, guests, invitees, agents, and/or employees.

-Renter further agrees that all above-mentioned will shower and clean feet upon use of hot tub.
If you have any medical condition (such as but not limited to, heart disease, low or high blood pressure, circulatory system problems, diabetes, obesity) or are taking any type of drugs please consult your physician before using the hot tub. Persons who have skin sensitivities or open wounds should not use the hot tub. If you have consumed or are consuming alcoholic beverages or drugs or have a medical condition that in conjunction with hot tub use may result in drowsiness, do not use the hot tub due to the possibility of losing consciousness with the possibility of drowning.

-The temperature of the hot tub will be set at 90 degrees – please do not turn it above 103 degrees.

-Furthermore, the agreement is made that NO oils, bubble bath, soaps, other liquids, or any other harmful materials will be used in the hot tub.

-No glass products whatsoever are allowed in or around the hot tub.

-Our hot tub is inspected, cleaned, and sanitized as needed before every stay.

-If any items such as soaps, bath products, food, alcohol, etc. are found in the tub, the renter will be charged a cleaning fee of $275. Damage to the cover will result in a $2000 charge. Cover should always remain on the hot tub when not in use.

-Renter agrees that there will be no horseplay in the hot tub as well as not to sit on, jump on, or misuse the hot tub cover in any manner. Sitting on the edge of the hot tub is not recommended and may result in a fall and/or injury.

-If you notice any water quality issues, such as cloudy, dirty, gritty, or smelly water, DO NOT USE THE HOT TUB and call or message for service.

-The renter further agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Rentlyne and
its owners, and employees from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, or losses whatsoever arising out of or in any way associated with the renters’ use of the tub, including but not limited to death, personal injury, or property damage.

-The agreement and release are hereby incorporated into and made a part of any other agreement between the renter and the owner in the event legal action is commenced to interpret or enforce the terms of this Agreement and costs, whether incurred during litigation, at trial, or on appeal.

- "Our home for a week in the summer, this house is designed for easy living and comfort. We enjoyed dinners every night with seating for fourteen on the deck, the grounds are lovely, and while the necessary grocery and other stores (including the Charlotte airport) are relatively near, the house remains private and secluded. The interior has plenty of space; if you are traveling with very young children and /or infants there is a spacious room with a crib. The bathrooms are state of the art. A billiard room is part of the floor plan. Parking in the drive easily accommodated 6 cars with room left over for guests who may be visiting. Yes, this is a winner."

This is an Amazing Lake House!
Easily accommodates your family. All new beds and luxury bedding, towels, etc. Spacious kitchen. Kids will want to be in the huge pool all day. Adults will enjoy the spa.
The layout is great for entertaining or just relaxing. 6,000sf consisting of 8 bedrooms on 4 floors each with a living room and a wall mounted TV. We have a spacious and inviting entryway that doubles as a 2nd dining room for larger families, a master suite with his and her bathrooms, a large kitchen with double ovens. It is fully stocked. or really just order pizza. Supersized wall mounted TV in living room (floor 2). An adult floor with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, veranda, and living room and laundry room with new high end washer/dryer (floor 3). A kid floor with play area, TV, tepee, games, a barn for little ones, etc. One room has 2 bunk beds the other "kid" room has 2 Queen beds and a pull out sofa (floor 4). Finished basement opens to the pool, indoor eating area, outdoor picnic area, kitchenette with refrigerator, sink, microwave, toaster and has a queen bed, twin daybed and sofa (floor 1). Exercise room with direct access to hot tub and pool. The oversized 2 car finished garage is currently being used for ping pong, video arcade games, regulation pool table , 3-hole putt putt, foosball, giant jenga, and has a second new washer/dryer set. Outdoor in-ground basketball hoop.

Did we mention kids? Love them! Don't leave them home they'll miss out on a vacation of a lifetime.

This is a vacation rental so we don’t allow Weddings or parties. Family reunions OK. No HS youth groups or college parties. Holidays have a surcharge. Also the pool and hot tub can be heated for $100 per day. Discuss payment options with owner. We gladly rent our new pontoon boat.
Floor 1 is handicap accessible with full bathroom (shower) and queen bed and a twin daybed and sofa.

Extra intensive Special Cleaning procedures during this COVID time includes airing out of the home, deep cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces and counter tops. Plenty of room for our whole extended family, and plenty of things to keep everyone entertained. The host was very responsive and helpful as well. We loved the numerous amenities. The double oven was great for our big meals. There were lots of pots and pans and even a couple instapots! We brought 2 kayaks so we were able to take out a veritable flotilla with the included paddleboard, canoe and kayaks. There was every size of life vest for the members who didn’t bring their own. And so many outdoor options from pool volleyball to bocce to ladder golf... We spent many hours on the 2nd floor porch playing cards, board games, reading, sharing stories, eating homemade ice cream and sorbet (3 different batches), homemade bread (kitchen island was great), birthday cake and generally loving life. The kids adored the big pool and the game room. We hooked a laptop up to the TV in the living room and did family slideshows at night. We used the firepit the last night for smores, fireworks watching (across the river to the left and right of Papa Docs), and philosophical discussion. Rick was excellent to work with and it was a fantastic week! We made lots a great family memories. Thanks for sharing your house!"

The 2100 sq. ft. lakefront cabin has views from all over the property along with a private dock. The house is located on the main channel and secluded for privacy. It sits on .97 acres of land with 330 feet of shoreline.

The cabin has been recently renovated. Everything from flooring, appliances, bedroom furniture, mattresses, bathrooms, light fixtures, etc. has been replaced. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The large deck allows you to sit outside and enjoy the view. Great location to have a weekend getaway or summer vacation. Tours are available upon request.

- "We traveled from Indiana for a weekend AAU basketball tournament and needed a place to stay for our family and Carolina friends. The house was perfect. Location on the water was peaceful and allowed us lake access. We rented a pontoon and explored the lake. This newly constructed, fabulously decorated, Contemporary Woodland Lodge has 4 King Bedrooms and one Queen. The 150 year-old, hand-hued, reclaimed wooden Carolina mill beams dominate the huge open floor plan. With it's 17 foot ceilings, the Great Hall serves as the Kitchen, Dining Room, and Living Room with a 75" 4K TV over the remote controlled gas fireplace (fall and winter only). Enjoy all of it by setting the mood with your favorite music across the entire house (and the deck) with our accessible Sonos sound system.

We bought and developed this plot, not just to view the lake... but to explore the lake and the wooded beauty and architecture it has to offer. We offer a pontoon boat, at an additional cost, for us and our guests to enjoy and explore it. There are so many sandbars, restaurants, and beautiful coves to ski, wakeboard, and tube in. Enjoy the lake for all it has to offer :)

Our Large Private Beach overlooks the dock and the lake's main channel. Downstairs also showcases a vaulted ceiling open floor plan - with a second Full Kitchen, Dining Table, a Billiards table, a Living Room, and another 75" 4K TV to watch from the sectional and sofa that both have motorized fully-reclining seats that you could melt into.

Two incredible covered decks, with drink rails overlooking the lake. The top deck is equipped with a 4K TV to enjoy outside while grilling or talking over wine in the comfortable and spacious seating area. All TV's (including the all bedroom TV's) are 4K, SmartTV's, with DirectTV boxes.

Being his line of work, my husband spared no expense in outfitting the entire home with State of the Art bathroom technology, touch lighted mirrors, and German-made European fixtures. Experience the latest in high-end bathtub technology with a touch screen to activate several features that are unbelievably effective. - I was a skeptic at first, but this tub is unlike anything you've ever seen. Simply put - it's euphoric.

I had him break it down for me to explain :) The freestanding tub is equipped with:
1) Aromatherapy - Defined as the practice of using essential oils extracted from flower, bark, or leaves to enhance physical and mental well-being
2) Chromatherapy - A scientifically proven technique (not merely a decorative element) using lighting to emit colors that are calibrated at different frequencies, each with a stimulating or soothing therapeutic purpose to directly effect one’s physical and psychological condition yielding vibrations that actually calm, energize, or focus your thoughts.
3) Hydro-Thermal Massage - Powerful air jets strategically located at the base of the tub deliver a therapeutic acupressure-based massage that triggers physiological reactions, reducing tension, relaxing muscles, combating stress and eliminating toxins. the turbine (located under bathroom in the owner's closet to reduce all unnatural noise) only pushes out air - thus eliminating suction and making the bath perfectly safe for children (and bubbles - yay!). About 10-15 minutes after draining the tub, you will hear a loud gust in and under the bathroom for a few seconds... that will be the tub entering the self-cleaning process that engages automatically.

You are welcome to use the garage. Being that the house is newly built and furnished, we do not allow pets and make no exceptions.

We do not allow any parties or gatherings, unless previously discussed and cleared with us in writing.

We don't allow oil-based or deep fat fryers.

Even though you are close to retail shops and malls, you'll escape from the busy world when you drive down our 1/2 mile wooded gravel road that only serves a few homes.

Each room is equipped with remote-controlled ceiling fan w/ lights, and 55 inch 4K SmartTV’s w/ DVR, AT&T Uverse TV (all Premium Package Channels). We provide Bath Towels for 6 guests. We provide Bed Linens for all beds including the sleeper sofa for the entire house. However, guests must provide their own Beach Towels to use outside or on the boat. Guests are welcome to use washer/dryer if any sheets or towels need to be cleaned (detergent is provided).

Explore the lake on our 2 stand-up Paddle Boards and 4 sit-in Kayaks (just don't forget to wear a life jacket!) We provide tons of high-quality neoprene life jackets of all sizes. We want you to use them!! Be safe out there :) There is a huge comfy patio area right outside the family room complete with seating, outside dining, and a large stainless steel propane grill (be sure to check it when you arrive, if gas runs out - renters are responsible for replacing at any of the nearby grocery and gas stations).

AT&T U-verse TV (1000+ HD and 4K Channels including HBO, Cinemax, and all ESPN channels). The house is equipped with High-speed Fiber Wi-Fi internet that works all the way down to the beach. Or get some relaxing outdoor time and teach your kids how to fish with the 2 full fishing rods, and 2 children's rods with the provided tackle box! You can catch Catfish, Bass, Brim, Crappie, Carp, and Bluegill.

Once inside you'll find a gorgeous custom built home with contemporary styling. Very open floor plan with 10' ceilings on the first floor. The kitchen has a substantial island with seating, ice machine and beverage drawers. Perfect for parties. The great room has a huge sectional in front of a 50' HDTV. A game room comes complete with ping pong and shuffleboard tables.

The master bedroom on the first floor has a custom bath and walk-in closet. It includes a king-sized bed and a private screened in porch. The second floor has three bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen and one set of double bunk beds, and the other two have queen beds and their own baths. In the loft is a new pull-out coach and 40' HDTV. this is perfect for the kids gaming equipment.

There are brand new floors throughout the first floor and loft. All TV's have Netflix programming. Bring your iPod to connect to the audio system that plays throughout the first floor, patio and screened-in porch.

The final unique feature is an enclosed outside shower. If you've never showered in the elements, you'll never forget it.

The private beach on a beautiful lake with kayaks, paddle board, life jackets, fire pit, wood, BBQ grill and lawn furniture is definitely the highlight, but the beautiful lights, back deck with stunning views and the comfy “great room,” make the experience extra enjoyable. The beds are very comfortable and you can control the air conditioning separately from the upstairs and downstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped and the refrigerator is huge. The Great room also has so many books, games and a huge TV to entertain you . . . but the lake was constantly the draw for our family. Several stores and restaurants are within 10 minutes and yet it is such a quiet wooded neighborhood that you’ll get to see deer. We really enjoyed seeing fawns with their parents. If we had any questions, Stan was ready to answer them. So our 5-night stay was refreshing and packed with great memories, and by God’s grace we will get to come again to this unforgettable vacation home."

This home provides a beautiful open floor plan with plenty of space for your family and friends to spread out. On the main floor you will find a large family room with double doors opening to a spacious screen porch. Here spend time rocking in the hanging egg chair and listen to the birds sing.

When it's time to eat, take your pick of one of the two dining areas, large kitchen island, basement bar or outdoor table. Sip your morning coffee in the breakfast room or enjoy your evening glass of wine resting on the outdoor sectional.

In the primary bedroom, retreat to your canopy king bed and personal spa like bathroom. In the morning, don't forget to step outside onto your private balcony to lounge while watching the sun rise over the cove.

Our favorite and most unique room in the house is the custom designed bunk room built by local craftsman Jon Kelly of Carolina Reclaimed. Each bed is full sized with a personal light and usb port for charging those devices. Adjacent to the bunkroom, you'll find a cozy den separate from the main basement rec room. Here is the perfect spot to sink into those leather bean bag chairs and watch your favorite movie. If action is more your style, get spinning at the foosball table or play board games on the oversized ottoman.

Outside you will find a large acre sized lot with room to play or relax on the hammock under the trees. The large fire pit area will become a nightly favorite as your group gathers around making smores and winding down from your day on the lake.

We are happy to provide recommendation for boat rentals on Lake Wylie. If you plan to bring your own boat, please keep in mind that the water level at the dock can fluctuate and can be somewhat shallow at times. We recommend a Pontoon or Tritoon boat for our location.

We do not allow any parties or gatherings, unless previously discussed and cleared with us in writing.

- "The home is better than pictured! So much space to hang out & enjoy indoors & out. Gorgeous decor & furnishings! The screened in patio was amazing to enjoy the evenings without pests! The fan kept it nice & cool. We all enjoyed kayaking, SUPs and just floating in the warm lake. Plenty of lifejackets in all sizes (nice and new & clean). It was nice to have the beach towels at the door. The sheets were so soft and the beds were very comfy! We rented a pontoon nearby for some tubing, and had a blast at nearby Whitewater Center and Southtown Wake Park. We explored Charlotte. The FunnyBus was a great way to see the city! Beautiful property, inside and out; responsive and gracious owners; central to lots of other things to do. A few things to note... 2 bedrooms upstairs have ensuite bathrooms, plus 1half bath upstairs. The AMAZING 6 bunk bed room & the 2 queen rooms downstairs all share 1 full bath (and another half)... this was not easy for the 10 people to negotiate during shower/ bath time, but we managed. Some AC issues upon arrival but the owners worked as quickly as they could to get it resolved (I do wish that I had a phone number to call or text in that circumstance, rather than use the app which had a delay). Note that the lake is VERY shallow at the dock... you must step in and float/ swim/ boat out to deeper waters to swim or jump... the floating mat worked great for the kids to play and jump off when we pulled it to deeper waters. Overall, a great stay!!"

You are welcome to bring a boat or jet skis to the property and park them at the dock. You can easily put your boat in the water using a ramp at McDowell Nature Preserve which is 1 mi away.

There are multiple options for renting a boat at Lake Wylie. One company we recommend that is conveniently located across the lake is Boat Rentals of Lake Wylie (search "boatrentalsoflkw"). It is ~10 min by car and ~5-10 min by water. You can book anywhere from a half-day to a multi-day rental with the option to have the boat delivered to the house for you. *This is just one of many options. Please do your own research and read reviews for more information.*

Neighborhood- The house is located down a gravel road shared with a few neighbor houses so it is private and secluded. However, it is also very conveniently located to grocery stores, restaurants, parks & more! All just minutes away. The best of both worlds!

Parking- There is ample parking at the house. PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY down the gravel road as our neighbors use golf carts.

We do have a pet fee of $100/pet! Please note if there are any additional damages, scratches, stains, odors, excess hair on beds, etc we will charge from the damage deposit in order to clean and replace what is necessary!

We have a hot tub available as an add-on for only $120 for your entire stay!
Why the additional fee? We take great care to provide a clean and relaxing experience for every guest. Before each booking, we completely drain and refill the hot tub with fresh water, thoroughly clean the interior and filters, and carefully monitor the water to ensure it reaches the perfect temperature and balance. This process ensures the highest level of hygiene and comfort for you to enjoy!

For your safety and security, please note that there are cameras located on the exterior of the property. They are positioned to monitor the premises and ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for all guests. Cameras are located on the patio, the front entrance, and looking down the stairs towards the docks. There are NO cameras inside the home.

This is a natural part of life by the lake, and while we take measures to keep the interior of the home as bug-free as possible, it’s important to remember that we share this environment with local wildlife.

What to Expect:
- Insects: You may notice mosquitoes, ants, spiders, and other common insects, especially in the warmer months.
- Critters: Animals such as squirrels, birds, and occasionally raccoons or other wildlife may be seen around the property.

We encourage you to keep doors and windows closed when not in use and to store food properly to avoid attracting any uninvited guests.

HOUSE RULES:
General Rules:
1. Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is anytime after 4:00 PM, and check-out is anytime before 11:00 AM. Please adhere to these times to allow for proper cleaning and preparation for the next guests.

2. Quiet Hours: Please respect our neighbors and observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

3. No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. A designated smoking area is available outside. If smoking inside the property has been detected, there will be a fine of

4. Pets: No unauthorized pets are allowed. Please ensure all pet fees are paid in advance for each pet. If an unauthorized pet has been detected, we will charge double the pet fee from the security deposit.

5. Toilets: Do not flush anything that does not belong in a toilet. This includes feminine products, paper towels, wet/baby wipes, dental floss, diapers, medication, cooking grease, cotton swabs, food, gum, etc.

Safety:
6. Lake Safety: Swimming is at your own risk. Please supervise children at all times around the lake.

7. Life Jackets: Life jackets are provided and must be worn when using the kayaks, paddleboards, or any other watercraft. Use at your own risk.

8. Fire Safety: No open flames or candles inside the house. Use the outdoor fire pit safely and extinguish it completely after use. NO big fires are allowed.

9. Fishing Regulations: Follow local fishing regulations for NC and SC. Catch and release is encouraged to preserve the lake’s ecosystem.

Property Care:
10. Respect the Wildlife: Please do not feed the wildlife if you see any (like deer or raccoons). Keep a safe distance from animals around the property.

11. Trash Disposal: Dispose of all trash in the designated bins. Do NOT leave trash outside as it attracts animals.

12. Furniture and Décor: Please do not move furniture or take any indoor furniture outside. Use outdoor furniture for lakefront relaxation.

13. Energy Conservation: Please turn off lights when not in use.

14. Hot Tub: Please keep cover of the hot tub on at all times when not in use. This will ensure a regulated temperature for your enjoyment.

15. Hot Tub: DO NOT put anything that does not belong in a hot tub. This includes any kind of soap, colorings, dirt, sand, trash, etc. You will get charged for the additional cleaning required.

Boat and Boat Lift Rules:
16. No Guest Use: The boats on the property are strictly for renting. If guests would like to utilize boats, please contact the host for more details. Please do NOT attempt to operate or board these boats at any time.

17. Boat Lift Safety: Do not touch or tamper with the boat lifts or any related equipment. These are delicate systems that can be easily damaged.

18. Dock Area Caution: Be cautious when near the boats and boat lifts. No swimming, fishing, or diving in the immediate vicinity of the boat lifts.

19. Loading and Unloading: If you need to load or unload personal items from your own watercraft, please use the designated dock areas, keeping clear of the boat lifts.

20. Report Issues: If you notice any issues or concerns with the boats or lifts, please report them immediately. Do not attempt any repairs or adjustments yourself.

Lakefront Usage:
21. Watercraft Use: Use the provided kayaks, paddleboards, and other equipment responsibly. Return them to the designated storage area after use. Use at your own risk.

22. Dock Rules: The dock is for guest use only. No running or rough play on the dock. Use at your own risk.

23. Clean Area: Keep the dock area clean. Remove any personal items after use to maintain a pleasant environment for all guests.

Guest Conduct:
24. Occupancy Limit: Please adhere to the maximum occupancy limit for the property. Unauthorized guests are not permitted.

25. Parties and Events: No parties, events, or large gatherings are allowed.

26. Respect the Neighbors: Be mindful of noise levels and respect the privacy of neighbors and other guests.

Unfortunately, my younger cousin was unable to stay at the house with us because the bed in her room was too soft/sagged and she had major back surgery in March. More, newer, better quality bath sheets would be appreciated by guests, too I think and really add to the overall really good quality of this home as a vacay rental.
