The house is SUPER CLEAN throughout, and all of the appliances work without a hitch. We especially loved the kitchen: there are loads of glasses (including great wine glasses), cups, bowls, plates, and many oft-used and even obscure utensils, everything you could possibly need (we didn't do any baking, but there's a muffin tin and a cake pan! -- maybe next time). The house is well-appointed, with touches of local colour throughout (believe me, the photos on the website doesn't do it justice). The view from the kitchen is stunning, with the sea rising from the mist in the morning, and ending the day in a glorious sunset (on the sunny days, of course, of which we were lucky enough to experience a few). The rental is well situated, near some great restaurants (we especially liked The Boreal Diner and Two Whales) and numerous hiking trails. The Historical Ellis Saint house sits about 50 yards from the ocean with a breath taking view like no other.
