We love our stay here!" - "Everything was perfect with this property, we used it for the starting point of a trip around the Cabot Trail and couldn’t have been happier. The rental is new and very clean. The whole place is very well appointed, when cooking we found it better equipped than our own kitchen at home! Contactless check in/out makes things quick and easy. " - "We were pleasantly surprised with this property. The condo seemed brand new. Very clean and well appointed. The only downside of our particular unit is we didn’t have a deck or view of the water but we also didn’t have neighbours and enjoyed the privacy. "

- "I recently did a father-daughter golf trip to Cape Breton for my dad's 75th birthday. The goal was to be located near great golf, be able to enjoy the time together with our own rooms/privacy, and preferably with amenities that allowed us modern options. This property delivered on all of that and more. Our host, James, was super communicative prior to our stay and all throughout. He really went out of his way to make recommendations for restaurants, activities, etc., and to ensure each day of our stay was going well. He is the epitome of a "super host" and I would stay at this property again in a heartbeat. The extra bonus was that he is also a good golfer and caddie for Cabot Links & Cliffs and we were able to request him for both courses -- he was terrific! Super knowledgeable and fun to spend our rounds with. Highly recommend+++"

- "It was exactly what we wanted. Directly on the water, relatively new, isolated and upscale" - "Our family had an absolutely great time in Inverness at this great property. Comfortable, clean and the location was close to perfect. The sunsets alone were worth it. We were able to relax on the deck or on the lounge chairs, cook family meals in the kitchen or simply just watch the eagles and seals from the lawn. Our only complaint was the beachfront was not as “kid” friendly or as swimmable as we thought. You could swim but it’s very rocky and you defiantly need water shoes. That being said, the location is close enough to many great beaches in the area, so it wasn’t a huge issue. The hosts were reachable and very attentive. I highly recommend this location."

Step back into the serene simplicity of pastoral living while keeping modern comforts close at Archie’s Place. Built over a century ago and preserved in its charming rusticity, Cape Breton’s folksy history seems to radiate through our house much like the peaceful natural light that illuminates its pastel rooms and hardwood floors. Comfortable window-side seating downstairs and rural quietness offer the perfect spot to unwind with a book or catch up with family and friends; while the large dining room and fully equipped kitchen are ideal for entertaining.

- "The location was great in terms of the beach. Advertised a microwave and there wasn't one, which is misleading. not a huge deal but there should have been a large pot to cook with. There was no AC and no screens of most of the windows and it was stifling hot especially at night trying to sleep. We had to share the deck and fire pit with the neighbour and that was not in the descriptons." - "Good location, could be improved with air conditioning and allocated outdoor space."

- "The photos don’t do this property justice! The view from the deck is absolutely beautiful and you can see the water! The property manager had great communication with us as the power went out our first night and she was quick to message us and offer to bring candles and flashlights. The kitchen is very clean and nice and there is a heat pump that came in handy. Would highly recommend this cabin if you’re looking for a calm get away. There’s a grocery a couple minutes down the road and many restaurants nearby. The only thing to mention is the driveway wouldn’t be ideal for any cars very low to the ground but most cars should be fine! Best getaway cabin I’ve stayed at and will be booking again. "

Welcome to Tiny Delight, a tiny house located just outside of Inverness on the gorgeous western side of Cape Breton.
Tiny Delight is the perfect wilderness escape just a 10 minute walk to a gorgeous, secluded, sandy beach with a waterfall. It’s also only a 10 minute drive to one of the best areas of Cape Breton, Inverness. Inverness is home to two world class golf courses, Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs. Inverness also has a craft brewery, great restaurants and coffee shops.
This tiny house is not only in a great location but it’s an amazingly unique stay. While it’s tiny in size, it’s big on style and comfort. Tiny Delight is owned by two frequent travellers who put their experience of staying in 100s of rentals around the world into their own tiny house to ensure it’s well equipped and comfortable for your perfect stay.
The Space:
Living Small in a Tiny House is Really About Living Big
Tiny houses aren’t just for hipsters and millennials anymore. As many people around the world have taken an interest in tidying up, downsizing their belongings and living more efficiently, the tiny house movement has gone mainstream, and it’s inspiring people of all ages to embrace small spaces. Our new tiny house is situated on a beautiful and serene piece of land with green fields full of apple trees, surrounded by mountains. Facing northeast is an ocean view, where a babbling brook ends as a waterfall on a private sandy beach (about a 10 minute walk downhill). Take a picnic down to the beach and enjoy one of the most incredible western sunsets you’ll ever see.
Everything you need is here: the brook supplies you with clear mountain water, there is a two burner cooktop as well as a convection toaster oven (with air fryer); a sofa with chaise (turns into a small double bed) as well as a loft with a comfortable queen size mattress and two screened windows. The bathroom comes with a glass, stand up shower, and the best compost toilet on the market (very easy to use and low maintenance, so don’t let that intimidate you). The house is fully 4 inch insulated against heat and coldness giving you way more comfort than most cabins, glamping, tents, yurts, tree houses etc. Outside you’ll find a barbeque, a hammock, tables for eating, as well as some foldable chairs to take with you on your adventure down to the beach.
For anyone that previously visited “Tiny Nest” the house has been moved just slightly down the hill and has been upgraded with a few different style changes.
Guest access
You have access to the entire house. More information will be provided after booking.
- "We had a great stay at this lovely little house. The beach is particularly amazing- even the photos don’t do it justice. Stunning!"
