PLEASE NOTE: The house is open the whole year. The access road to the house, once you leave the main road, starts with a gentle incline and then there is a steep rise which means it is not suitable for low sports cars. In Winter the access road will be cleared of snow and gritted however, cars should be fitted with winter tires and have snow chains available. If you are unable, or do not wish, to reach the house by car in Winter, you will need to park at the start of the access road and walk 300m up to the house.

- "This place was perfect for our family with three kids (14,12,10). We loved the terrace, great for sitting and relaxing in privacy, or playing ball in the garden. With the window shutters you can keep the house nicely cool during sunny summerdays. The wonderful Soča is in close walking distance, with nice bathing sites, but extremely cold! Our favorite day trips were Lago del Predil, Soča Spring and Rafting from Boveč. And the best bathing location: Napoleonov most at the Nadiza river! Immersed in the pine forests of the Triglav National Park, this typical Slovenian alpine house is perfectly located for a family holiday in mountains. River Soca which is according to many the most beautiful mountain riverin Europe, is running at few steps from the house. Although the location is very private and intimate, the nearest shop, bus station, tourist centre, musem and caffe bar are just 200 m away.

Living room with space for dining, a new modern bright kitchen and the bathroom are arranged over the ground floor. The upper floor accomodates two bedrooms, of which one has three separate beds and a balcony, and the other bedroom contains a queen size bed plus a child bed (120 x 80 cm).

From the Soca source to the large gorge and small gorge (Velika korita and Mala korita) are some typical for this valley houses with tile roofs, with external stairs and so very typical wooden corridors on the facade in which often the firewood is stacked picturesque.

The central part of the valley is called Na Logu.
Here you will find the information center of the Triglav National Park with a tourist and mountain guide service, the Trenta Museum and the refuge Dom Trenta.

Called remotely, back of the Trenta valley, Zadnja Trenta, located in Kar Zapotok a 180 m high overhanging rock wall with the highest waterfall in the Triglav National Park.

The most famous gorge formed the Soca Soca near the village, where the 750-meter-long Great Gorge cuts 15 meters deep in some of which only up to 2 m wide gorge.

A little higher is the small gorge, the approximately 100 m long and 6 m deep and in some places only 1 m wide.

Trenta and the Soca valley are spectacular and beautiful and from the cottage it is easy to just potter around the river or scale the 2000m peaks around you (OK,.. It wasn't that easy! ). Communication with Mrs Navenko who looks after the cottage (and runs the village shop) was occassionally challenging but always friendly...and the local cheese she will sell you is well worth trying. All in all, a wonderful holiday in a special spot!"

A superb mountain location set in the middle of the cute village of Strmec. A very popular touristic area and border crossing with lots to do around.

Although the house is set back from the road the village road can get quite busy in Summer especially on weekends.

Located in the centre of Bovec, the chalet is close to everything: ski shuttle bus, all activity centres and organisers, tourist offices, banks, shops and restaurants etc. Floranneve looks small from the outside but is large inside!..

Plenty of cups, mugs, plates etc and decent size fridge. Plenty of hot water and a decent sized table for us to all enjoy a meal together. Parking is at the back of the chalet. Key collection and drop off was easy with a local manager on hand if you have any queries.The position is perfect, we would walk to the shops each morning to get supplies and fresh bread. It’s a clean, friendly mountain town with lots of places offering river based activities like white water rafting."

As an "upside down house” , the main entrance leads you first to the chalet's the three bedrooms and to bathrooms.
