- "Without question, this house has a magnificent view of Lake Maggiore. Truly breathtaking. BUT - do not overlook the fine print. There are 140 steps to climb, which was no easy task for us, as we had several bags to hike up. Definitely not for anyone who has difficulty with stairs (or isn't in pretty good physical shape!). Beyond that, the house was well appointed and comfortable. We were there in early June, though, and there were more than a few insects who wanted to join us inside."

- "Prachtige plek, compleet ingerichte woning en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het uitzicht vanuit het huis en het balkon over het meer is prachtig. De kamers zijn ruim voldoende voor 6 personen. De buurt is erg rustig. Brissago is op zich wat minder interessant, maar Cannobio is erg gezellig. De kabelbaan bij Locarno is de moeite waard, maar zorg wel dat je een Ticino kaart hebt, dan is het nog een beetje betaalbaar. Verder is er voldoende te doen in de omgeving."

In less than 10 minutes you are on the Italian side where you will find charming villages, restaurants with excellent food at Euro prices, as well as less expensive shopping opportunities.

Casa Malpensata was recently renovated In 2023 and is on the top floor of a residence. In the residence there is a swimming pool (12x5m) with lawn, outdoor toilet, shower and a view of the lake. The swimming pool is accessible by stairs from the apartment.

Please note: The swimming pool is NOT heated and is NOT in operation all year. It is usually in operation from about mid-May to mid-October, but PLEASE CHECK WITH US FIRST BEFORE FINALIZING YOUR BOOKING.

Die Terasse über dem Lago Maggiore ist toll und zur Alleinbenutzung für 3 Personen sehr großzügig. Die Strasse mit dem Grenzgängerverkehr trübt das Ganze zwar etwas, außerhalb der Rush hour ist es jedoch angenehm ruhig - bis auf die Möven auf dem Nachbardach.... Die Einrichtung ist generell sehr zweckmäßig - alles da, was man so braucht. Einzig der Bettinhalt ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, da aus reiner Kunstfaser und sehr dünn."
