Our free-standing comfortable holiday home is on the verge of Morcote on a hillside plot with open views over Lake Lugano. Behind the property adjoins the forest. There are two terraces, a covered portico, so you can always find a sheltered shady spot. There is a large living room with dining area, two bedrooms, a nursery. All rooms have a wonderful view of Lake Lugano. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, fridge, oven and plenty of dishes. In the basement there is a Miele washing machine.
In the nursery there are built-in flyscreen blinds and blackout curtains.
While swimming in the 7-meter swimming pool you can enjoy the full panorama.

- "We definitely consider to come back to this place." - "The location of this house is the main reason to book your holiday here. The stunning view over Lake Lugano is very nice. The house is well located and well equiped. The swimming pool gives extra value during a warm holiday. Morcote is a nice village with a large variety of good restaurants. From your house you can easily visit Lugano, which is a nice town. Further on you have an easy entrance into Italy. If there is one thing on a wish list, it is airconditioning, as the temperature in the bed rooms went up to 27 degrees. This was not comfortable BUT this was also during a long period of very warm weather. Unfortunately we had two bad experiences at the end. The lady who came for cleaning the house was very stressed and pushed us to go home, despite the fact that there was no reason for it at all. After we came home our credit card was charged for Chf 60,- because a damaged parasol. This happened during a storm in the night, which was not something we could avoid. However, the owner was not open at all for a discussion and reacted not very friendly. That was a disappointing end of our holidays and is definitely a reason not to come back, despite the wonderful location."
