The reception desk was staffed with the most knowledgeable and patient people; we asked them everything from nearby hiking trails to extra toothpaste, and they always provided excellent service. - "As this is a family run hotel we were made to feel really welcome and check in was excellent with lots of local information and attention to detail. Our room had a view of the church as opposed to a view of the lake - which we actually preferred as the week we stayed was very hot and the room was lovely and cool to return to each day. Breakfast is adequate although not much choice but presented well and of a good standard. The restaurant food in the evening was great - although we stayed on bed and breakfast option we ate two evening meals in the restaurant, this was only because they only served until 8pm which was a little early for us - otherwise we would have used the restaurant more as the food was wonderful and reasonably priced - and the only one we found in Baveno with Air-Con - as must people seemed to opt to sit outside by the lake to eat. The hotel is in a really convenient location, the bus from Malpensa stops almost on the doorstep and the boat dock is a 2 minute walk away - the train station isn't that much further about 10 minutes - but it is a bit of a climb - which is only a problem if you have luggage - for day trips its fine. There is also a convenient supermarket just a couple of minutes up the road - so all in all really handy. We will (hopefully) visit again someday! Sooner rather than later."

Ideally center and only a 10-minute walk from the center. The apartment is located on the top floor of the house, but is accessed by a side entrance independent and you have to climb a flight of stairs. The furniture is all new and well cared for. The kitchen is well equipped with appliances and cookware nonstick excellent brand. The cleanliness of the entire apartment is taken care of and the bed linen and towels are of excellent quality. The large terrace overlooking the lake is ideal for relaxing, sunbathing, dine lulled by the lights and the music that comes from the premises of the lakefront.

- "Easy Lake Is a clean modern place to stay with an excellent location. There's a wonderful cafe just down on the corner, walking distance to the restaurants and ferry station in town and a very short drive to Stressa to enjoy more shopping in many restaurant options. The kitchen is separate from the bedroom area which shares the couch in the same room. There are two wonderful long windows with shutters that allow you to enjoy the view or close the shutters and still let some fresh air in. There's a small amount of street noise, which is nothing if you're used to that. The refrigerator is decent size, there is a small microwave as well as an oven and stove. Very basic spices, paper towels and basic kitchen necessities, but nothing more. During our stay it was extremely hot in the area. While Easy Lake stays somewhat cooler than most buildings, we found it necessary to buy a floor standing fan as there is no air conditioning or fan provided. If this is something you need, there is an electronic store within a 15 minute drive and it only cost about 24 euros. A good investment as we were traveling for 3 weeks. With multiple family members staying in the area, we definitely felt like we had the best location. One side note, the shower is extremely small, but again if you travel Europe, you come to expect this. We would definitely stay again and recommend this location."

The villa belongs to a complex of 3 villas, but is completely independent. From the parking and garage level, go up the stairs leading to the mezzanine floor. Here is the main entrance with a large living room with sitting area, two armchairs that become single beds, satellite TV and stereo system, the dining table and a modern well-equipped kitchen opening onto the living room. In front of the living room there is a large terrace overlooking the lake with flowers and plants with a large dining table, a large outdoor lounge and also a barbecue area with another smaller table. The ground floor is completed by a bathroom with a very large shower. From this floor you go down to the garage floor where there is the laundry room with washing machine, the large closed garage for 2 cars and the covered garage open for 2 more cars. From the living room floor going up the staircase you reach the first floor where there is a single bedroom overlooking the swimming pool behind the house and a bathroom with shower and the main double bedroom with TV which has a lake view and a beautiful flowered terrace equipped with table and chairs. - "My husband and I had six nights in this beautiful villa in Baveno. It is high in the town with a 10 minute walk down to the ferries/train/bus, as the listing indicates. So it is perfect to explore the islands of Lake Maggiore, as well as the other towns along the shores. Being that high, the villa has an amazing view of the lake and islands. The beds were very comfortable and it was quiet allowing for great sleeps after long days of hiking and exploring. Titziana (our Lake Maggiore villa contact) was great to deal with regarding the rental and got back to us quickly with answers and information. Check in and out was easy.
