Classic Italian chalet just restored about 7 km from Lake Orta. It is located in the countryside in a very quiet village (Gattugno), from which several trails starts for quiet walks in the open air. It is about 10min walk (steep though) to centre of Omegna where you will find sufficient restaurants and shops. The appartment is well equipped and if we needed anything Giacomo and Claudia were very responsive. When we arrived, the Jacuzzi was broken due to recent storms. They said it would take almost a week for the new one to arrive. When we asked if this could be arranged sooner, they made sure it arrived and was set up in one day! Claudia gave all kinds of tips for shops and restaurants. Although the appartment is next to Giacomo's house, we felt privacy was well assured. Highly recommended if you want to visit this beautiful area!"
