Please make sure that this property will meet your needs before booking. Full description below. Everything is exactly as described.

My daughter and I have our bedrooms upstairs so we are renting out the ground floor of the house (2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, plus the kitchen and dining areas) to our guest. So you will have exclusive use of 2 rooms and one bathroom. Understand that is is SHARED housing, you may not see us much but we will be using the same kitchen and dining area. You may use the laundry facilities as well (all laundry supplies provided for you).

Very child-friendly, fun back yard with play set and LARGE enclosed trampoline. 35 minutes from San Francisco, 1 mile from downtown Castro Valley and public transit (BART).

My house is your house during your stay, you can have as little or as much contact with us as you want. Street parking directly in front of the house is always available. This is not a busy / crowded neighborhood.

We have 5 indoor/outdoor cats, so if you are allergic to cats this is not the place for you! Katya (the official greeting committee) is pictured above on the front steps.

Please note in the pictures - what you see is what you get. The queen bed will comfortably accommodate 2 adults, the sofa / corner unit will work for 2 kids/teens. My house will NOT accommodate a party of three or four adults. The sleeping accommodations are not sufficient. While the sofa / corner unit is great for the younger crowd, it does not provide the actual back support a "real" bed would and is NOT recommended for older folks like me! (50+). I've tried it, trust me on this. My kid and her friends think it's great, but that's her age group.

Property is on a Water Well and Septic System. ALL the water that enters the Casita is filtered. In addition, we have a Reverse Osmosis-filtration system in the kitchen for drinking and cooking. We suggest disposing of toilet paper in the waste basket.

We are located in a quite rural area of Castro Valley but only a short 5 min car ride to town of Castro Valley and city of San Ramon. Our in-law unit is a small but very clean and modern place with its own private entrance, surrounded with natural light. With Lake Chabot only a mile away, it s easy to get into nature here (Gold, Hiking, Riding, bicycle trails, kayaking,etc)

While small, its very cozy, modern and up to date. It accommodates two comfortably. Unit has its own kitchenette, so you re able to prepare small breakfast or even lunch if you wish.
