Flaming coffee with tequila cream was delicious! We enjoyed our massage but felt like we were asked way too many times to book another one. Food was good. We like Bruschetta the best. Diego always remembered our name and would great us like we were the most important guests every day! He is wonderful! Bryan one of the waiters at the buffet made me laugh with his sound effects! - "I love this resort as it is small and easy to get around from beach, pool, room, lobby and restaurants within 5 minutes. The staff is amazing!! Miguel is by far the best bartender whether he is in the pool bar or lobby bar. The entertainment staff made our stay even more fun. Kenddell, Adela, Arturito and Alexander always made a point to talk to our group every day. Kenddell even remembered all our names (group of 10) after meeting us the first time. By the end of our stay he had made all 6 girls personalized bracelets and a small note to thank us for making his job fun. He doesn't realize that he made our vacation so much more fun by making us feel welcome. Down side note was that they changed the lunch restaurant (El Charro) to a sit down meal. It used to be more of a buffet style with grab n go. Now you have to wait to be seated and waited on. Sometimes I just wanted to grab a plate of chips and guacamole or a plate of french fries without having to be waited on. I wish there was a spot for snacks like this near the beach or pool. This was my third time to visit here in 10 years and I would go back again!"

- "Amazing for families!" - "built into the envirenment" - "This resort is amazing. Large with lots to do but everything still feels close. The beach is beautiful, palm trees for shade, the water is shallow and we saw plenty of angel fish a few feet in. There is free kayaking which was a nice surprise. We stayed in a swim up room and never used the pool but it was fairly warm water. We had butlers who were awesome Erick & Eduardo, they made us feel at home and helped us book dinner reservations ect. I have been to Mexico many times and this is by far my favourite location. Food is great, the grounds are pristine, and there is always something for the kids to do. We spent some time at the family pool and the service was always fantastic! 5 stars"

- "Excellent stay thank you" - "We have traveled to Banyan Tree Mayakoba over the last 10 years, the villa style format with private pools is amazing and very private, the spa is probably the best service you may ever experience. I think it could be even better if there were more options for dining, updating some of the villas (as the property is now 15 years old) and while there is a heavy staff presence the focus on service and engagement of requests could be improved. Overall always an amazing experience and if you are looking for private, safe and secluded time with your partner/spouse this is hands-down the best option in Rivera Maya."
