Upon arrival we found to be on opposite sides of the complex. Second issue we had was when requesting the Japanese restaurant you need to specify the Hibachi table which we were not informed of.. To our surprise with 11 people when we showed up we were Ala-carte. Other than the two issues, We had a great stay, complex is beautiful, beaches are wonderful , food was very good, and the kids loved it. We did two excursion, one with Ocean tours through the complex for $35 each we went to Akumul swam with the turtles, swam in the cenotes caverns, which also included on a separate day a tour of the Mathis Jewelry factory and Tequila shop and a 2 hour trip to Playa De Carmen. Well worth the money. The night life we had a good time, and there was always something to do. I would go back here again for a family vacation."

- "When we arrived we only had about 1/4 of a big jug of water. I emailed property and were told water is on us. So we of course bought our own. However on the day we left the guy brought in a brand new full water! One of the bathroom lights were out, the master bathroom sink was plugged they came to " fix" it and didnt. Underneath the sink leaked. These are minor to me I've stayed around here several times, I can overlook things BUT.. The real kicker...we checked out at 10:45 with the guy with the new water coming in. First I got an email at 12:45 PM that we needed to check out ( we were already at the car rental company returning car) Followed by several other disturbing emails. One stating that 2 pillows and 2 towels were missing( oh yea I come clear to Mexico to steal towels and pillows um hmmm) and put them in my suitcase!🙄 Then another email saying a towel was dirty and we need to help " share" the cost of getting it cleaned. I was APPALLED, I mean in every way. We took very good care of everything, traveling with us our Mother and Father in laws in thier mid 70's. I mean, this was no party trip lol. I let Tao know how I felt and was told I was being " rude" So, never again Tao youve lost our business when I return we won't be booking with you again. Safe travels everyone!"

Quiet location away from the hustle of Cancun. Nice restaurant and bar next door on the beach. Easy to take local transport (collectivo) into Akumal town, up to Playa del Carmen or down to Tulum. Rooms had A/C, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, safe, water cooler for drinking water (bring a water bottle and just fill up each day), beach towels provided, great water pressure in shower with plenty of hot water. We had pool-side room with balcony overlooking pool. It got great afternoon sun to dry our bathing suits and towels. The beach is gorgeous! calm turquoise water! All the staff was wonderful and Tony makes you feel right at home and is quick to answer any questions. He seems to know the name of every single guest! - "The booking states free continental breakfast. Nothing was provided. The pool was not clean or well looked after. The property needs a bit of love. You need to wait15 mins before you got hot water in the shower and the bath that looks so inviting took 45 mins to fill half way and was luke warm.. The rooms were nice and spacious. Had great features. No key to the balcony so couldnt get through. Overall 3.5/5" - "It was decent. Don’t expect to get a hold of anyone till the day of which is frustrating. It is in a gated area which is nice and you have restaurants near you. The pool and the outdoor area needs some TLC and we never used it once. I would say it’s more like a dorm style 7 rooms and it’s all different people and you share all common areas. But the area is very safe and there are many amenities in the area that make up some of the villa’s short coming."
