- "Stayed in a room with two queen beds on the ground floor of the kids section. It was spacious for a family of 4, quiet and convenient. The room was musty but we brought an air freshener and moisture traps to help with the humidity. The staff at the resort are top notch from lobby to bar to entertainment team. Everyone who works there works hard and are eager to help. The beach and grounds are tended to regularly and we saw a crew of twenty in the mornings to pick up trash from the day before by hand along the beach. There are plenty of food options all day so you won’t get hungry or bored with the selection. We tipped at every meal, multiple times a day at the bars and every day for the maids. - "I had such an amazing experience since the beginning. I’ve been to so many nice and fancy hotels all over the World but I can tell you that no one ever exceed my expectations like this one. Not only because of the property itself but because of the VIP butler service. Carlos was my butler during my stay and he was beyond, making sure I had dinner reservations for every single night and always in touch with me to check if I needed anything. I’ve never been so spoiled in a vacation stay like I had at this hotel, and I think most of it was because of the high level of professionalism from Carlos. My recommendation is that if you can hire the Privilege package, you’ll make your experience in a way other level. I will definitely return to this resort. - "WE just returned from our stay at Paraiso de la Bonita Sept 16-21, celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. This place is absolutely amazing! We took advantage of the 4th night free promotion and stayed in one of the suites w/plunge pool. The suite was absolutely beautiful. There was one small hiccup: on our 4th day there we woke up to a horribl stench permeating the room. It turns out the exhaust for the sewage wasn't working. We alerted the front desk, and the concierge recommended we go have breakfast while they send maintenance in to investigate. After breakfast we stayed out on the beach for about 2 hours and then returned to our room. We were pleased to find the smell replaced by a very pleasant, clean odor, the bed made, our clothes neatly folded and stacked...they did a wonderful job in addressing the issue! Other than that one problem, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The service was outstanding. The food, though quite pricey, was very good. The pool was beautiful; although I was a bit disappointed in the beach. A lot of seaweed and rocks, you really could not go into the water because of it. But believe me, everything else more than makes up for it!"

Our rooms were comfortable and fancy (for our standards) with the fridge restocked and room cleaned daily. We were in building 1 which was ideal as it was a short walk to the pool and main area. There was a great variety of restaurants that were each delicious and unique. Our favourite restaurant was the lunchtime experience at Castaways with our hilarious Antonio, who from our first time with him remembered us, our meals, and never failed to entertain. The pool was relaxing in the morning and entertaining in the afternoons with their music and activities (I would recommend joining the aquafit with the amazing Saul!). Our drinks were frequently refilled by the friendly Carlos (I believe?). We met great people who were also staying at the resort and had fun experiences on excursions that we booked while at the resort. Our only complaint might have been that we waited a little too long for our shuttle back to the airport, but this was NOT booked through the resort, but a separate company.
