This special designation means the region is subject to strict regulations aimed at preserving its natural beauty, wildlife, and peaceful rural environment. Local authorities actively enforce rules around noise, unregistered guests, and large gatherings. These measures are in place to protect the experience of all guests and neighbors, and we truly appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain the privilege of hosting in such a special place.

DOG RULES + FEES
-Dogs are permitted by request and upon approval. A maximum of 1 dog is allowed and subject to additional fee (may be able to accept 2 dogs with permission.) Guest must provide a dog bed and crate or kennel. Dogs are not permitted to lay on furniture or bedding. They must be secured in provided crate/kennel if left unattended at any point. Guest must pick up dog waste and dispose of in waste bags that are securely tied.

CAMERAS
We have one exterior camera facing the parking area and trail access to private property. Guests are not monitored in private spaces.

ANIMALS
Please be aware that while staying at our vacation rental, you may encounter local wildlife. Please keep garbage secured indoors and provided bins.

Q: Can I bring my dog?
-Yes! We welcome your furry friends with compliance with dog rules.

A: Dogs are permitted by request and upon approval. Dog fee is $75 per dog, maximum 2 dogs. Guest must provide a dog bed and crate or kennel. Dogs are not permitted to lay on furniture or bedding. Dogs cannot be left at the rental at any time, even crated. Guest must pick up dog waste and dispose of in waste bags that are securely tied. A $250 fine applies for damaged linens or furniture due to dogs. Dogs must be house trained.

Q: Can I get a check-in/late check out?
A: We love to accomodate early check-in and late check out requests whenever possible! We charge a small $40/fee per hour for the first 3 hours, then we recommend considering booking the additional night so you don't have to rush.

- "We could walk right downtown to Stevenson 2 blocks away. Charming community (make sure go to North Bank Books. We ate at the Texicantina and Red Bluff Tap House, both excellent). Well cared for and clean, everything feels new. Bed was very supportive and comfortable. Backyard is private and wooded. Enjoyed sitting on the patio with drinks. There is a mini split so air conditioning is actually there, even though description says it doesn’t have any. The only drawback is we could hear the guest upstairs walking around."
