This two-level home is airy and beautiful, with large windows, stunning ocean views, and cathedral ceilings. Step into the entry level on the second floor, where you’ll find an open-concept living area with plush sofas that connects to a kitchen and dining area. The living room is nice and cozy.

Stop by a grocery store on your way in and fill up your fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook! This spot has modern, stainless steel appliances and a dining table overlooking the ocean.

Head downstairs to the bedrooms, which both have amazing views of the ocean and share a bathroom. One bedroom comes with its own queen-size bed, while the other has two twins. You’ll find a half-bathroom upstairs, too.

Incredible location, but just a warning, there is no cell service here so make sure you have directions and the code to get in before you arrive. Beautiful beaches within walking distance, a couple of restaurants nearby. Home was cute and quirky. Full kitchen with everything you could need to cook basic meals. No Tupperware. Bring games, a Bluetooth speaker, or a laptop for moves for entertainment. There are no TV’s or smart speakers, but they have cd players, puzzles and books. Cell service is somewhat spotty for all carriers in Oceanside but if you have wi-fi calling capability you can effectively use the wi-fi available in the house to place and receive calls.

- "We loved our stay here! The full-size bunk beds and futon in the rec room worked great for the kids, while the adults took the double master beds/baths. The location is beautiful and just minutes from the beach - it’s also only 15 minutes to Tillamook/grocery stores and central to lots of great Oregon activities. The house is also well equipped with pretty much everything you could think of. Only drawback was the lack of functional screens on the slider doors - we left them open a lot to cool down the upstairs, so screens would have been nice. But it wasn’t a big concern at all, and we greatly enjoyed our week there."

- "Home that is better than pictures. Good for a couple or 4 at the most. Views are amazing, well stocked with kitchen appliances (minus some common things like butter, spices, coffee, oils…might be stocked later as summer goes on) which are needed because the small charming town of Oceanside is very sleepy which we loved, cooked meals in most nights with groceries from a stop in Tillamook. - "Loved this place, it was so cute/modern and was a great spot for my wife and me. We commented that it could have held another few people very comfortably. We did hear quite a bit of foot steps as this is below another unit but that was the only 'issue' to speak of (which wasn't a real issue to us). You can see some of the coast line (there is another house between you and the beach) which is a fun way to wake up in the morning! Sarah was great to work with, 6 stars! I'd happily stay here again!"

This cozy 1950’s Sunset Serenade rustic beach house has a partial ocean view throughout the home and is centrally located in Oceanside with only a short walk to the downtown and public beach. Enjoy the stunning full ocean view and sunsets from the top deck and partial view on the enclosed bottom deck. Cuddle up by the warm wood-stove fire on cool evenings or crack the window on warm summer nights to hear the ocean lull you to sleep in this 1,020 square foot home with two floors.
On the top floor there is one queen bed in the master and a full-size bunk in the second room. Perfect for 2 adults and 2 children or a small couple. Bunks can sleep 2 people per double bunk.

- "What a beautiful location! Parking was easier than one might think on a narrow street. The location is charming and idyllic. The view from the dining table and balcony was gorgeous. It was quiet enough, even with close guests, to get an appropriate amount of sleep. The hot tub is right next to the kitchen/dining area of the apartment in which we stayed, but the guests utilizing it one of the nights were respectful, kept it quiet and left before 11. The yard for dog potties was very helpful, as my dog is a shy potty-er, preferring his own yard at home to any other place. There were other dog poops out there, but I cleaned those up to. There wasn't a can opener, but the manager told me where I could find one, and I left it for the next guest. From what I understand, can openers are hard to keep on hand in vacation rental properties. One thing I did want to let the manager know is that the toaster is a little finicky! You have to have it turned up to a higher level and hold down the toaster lever to get it to turn on and stay on. The bed was a lot softer than I prefer, but I didn't have any backpain from it, which is a real win! Overall, it was a wonderful getaway, in a cozy place. It's a great location for when you want to wake up and walk right to the beach! Very nice. Thanks!"

- "My husband and I really enjoyed our two night stay at Casa Azul. Upon arriving, the home was clean and ready to be enjoyed. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped if you plan on cooking. The decor is modern, bright, and airy. We enjoyed having access to a television and Roku in the evenings. The electric fireplace also adds a nice touch. In the evening, there is a deer that sleeps in the greenery below the patio; I enjoyed watching her. My only complaint is that a few items were broken upon our arrival. The lid of the kitchen garbage can did not open and close, the downstairs bathroom shower liner only hung on one side as it had been ripped and the upstairs bed seemed to dip down quite significantly in the middle. The bed was also quite noisy with typical tossing and turning. I’m sure these issues all arose recently and can be easily remedied. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit to Oceanside. Thank you kindly!"

- "The house itself is a fun 50's or 60's style beach house with one bedroom, kitchen, dining room, laundry, bathroom, and living room on the main floor. The lower level includes a second sitting room and a bedroom with a really comfortable queen bed and bunkbeds. The kitchen was very functional with everything one would need for most kinds of cooking and probably more than is necessary. The countertop burners are situated looking out of the adorable breakfast nook with vintage Formica table, making the act of slaving over a stove pretty magical since the entire time cooking one can stare out at the ocean. The washer and dryer are nice to have when visiting the beach for more than a few days. The living room has very comfortable couches and a nice television, but we mostly turned our eyes out through the wall of windows to see the view. Probably the most impressive part of this rental is the deck. It is a newer deck with new and solid framing and clean, new composite decking. We were here in July, so the house got just a little warm in the day, but it was easy to cool it off by opening windows to allow the ocean breeze through. From the deck, there is an amazing panoramic view of the Oceanside beach straight ahead, Netarts bay to the south, and Storm Rock slightly to the north--if standing at one edge of the deck one can even see Seal Rock and Finley Rock. We had one morning with a bit of rain, but the roof covers about a third of the deck, making it still enjoyable to sit out even with a little rain. The bonus with the rain is that the gutter system from the roof pours water down a little Rube Goldberg machine that spins wheels and directs the water through a series of traps. We didn't hike down into town, but it is very doable if one doesn't mind the hill. Honestly, once we settled in, it was hard to want to do anything other than rest in one of the provided chairs on the deck and just look out at the ocean while sipping a coffee in the morning and a double hazy IPA in the afternoon. For the more active, I saw a whole stack of body boards in the garage for guests to use to go surfing on the beach, and there was ample amounts of firewood for a beach fire (no need for wood in the house as the upstairs fireplace uses gas and the downstairs "fireplace" is electric). The house was well cleaned when we arrived and there were ample bedding, towels, etc. The wifi was very stable and very fast. As an older house, there is a bit of thirty year old cigarette smell which is common in older homes. It didn't bother us and wasn't symptomatic of any problems with cleaning, but I know that some people are very sensitive to that smell, so I'm mentioning it. It is an older place and it isn't fancy, but it is incredibly comfortable. It felt a little like staying at grandma's house, and I mean that in the best possible sense (if grandma had a house with an incredible ocean view). We've already booked it again for an anniversary trip."

This historic property dates back to the 1920’s but recently underwent a full renovation. #3 is on the main level. While in a beachfront building, it lacks views from inside the unit, but the massive shared deck is the perfect place to take in the sites of the Pacific Ocean and Three Arch Rocks National Wildlife Refuge.

There’s a bedroom with a king bed with an attached full bathroom. There’s also an additional half bath.

Shared amenities at Oceanside Inn include three Level 2 EV chargers, complimentary guest laundry machines, and a massive deck extending over the bluff, and stairs to the beach below (there’s also a public beach access without stairs a block away). As noted in some reviews, the parking lot can be a little tight, and can occasionally be full (there are ten spaces for the ten units, but parking is not assigned). There is street parking immediately in front of the building, and plentiful parking about a block to the North across from the Blue Agate Cafe.

Oceanside is considered by many to the hidden jewel of the Northern Oregon Coast. The beach is always special, but it’s even more so in Oceanside during low tides: tide pools abound on the far side of Maxwell Point. You can walk the tunnel under the Maxwell Point, or if the tide is sufficiently low, walk around it. You can easily harvest mussels by hand (with a shellfish license, purchased online from ODFW), and the tide pools are filled with anemones, sea stars, crabs, and mollusks.

A few minutes to the south is Netarts Bay, where you can rent crab boats from Big Spruce Boat Rentals or Netarts Bay Garden RV Resort. They’ll give you tips for success, and they’ll even cook them up for you assuming a successful haul. You can crab year-round, but it’s generally best in fall and winter. You can also try clamming in Netarts Bay at low tide - there’s even a patch of geoduck clams at the start of the bay near Happy Camp!

Oceanside is known as one of the best spots on the Oregon Coast for whale watching. While whales can be spotted any time of year, they’re most common from mid-December to mid-January as 20,000 gray whales migrate south to Mexico, and again in late March through early June as they pass by on their return to Alaska. When the weather is nice, the 180 degree views from the massive shared deck make it the perfect spot for whale watching.

In town, you’ll find three great options for food within a block: Blue Agate and Current Cafe open for breakfast (and coffee!), and Rosanna’s is open starting with brunch . There’s also a small grocery store in Netarts, or a Safeway about 15 minutes away in Tillamook.

The scenic road to through to Tillamook through Cape Meares is once again open, and while longer than the drive through Netarts, the views are exceptional. The drive down to Pacific City along Cape Lookout road is also amongst the most beautiful on the coast, making Pacific City (40 minutes to the south) an exceptional day trip. You can enjoy a drink at Pelican Brewery while watching the surfers and dory boats on the waves, and you can climb and slide down the dunes.
