- "Be aware that the hotel charges a mandatory supplement (90 euros for a couple for 1 week) for the entertainment (which was OK) and includes pool aqua-aerobics, a singer and concerts every evening, but in my opinion this should be included in the upfront hotel costs, rather than hidden in small print. The biggest negative was that the hotel does not have wifi for the 2016 season (apparently it had it in 2015). The hotel has a wireless router, which you can connect to, but this is NOT connected to the Internet and therefore no service is available. The hotel itself is using a telephone dial-up service for its Internet connection, but this is not available to guests. The full board is OK, and there is plenty to eat. It is easy to over-eat and get fat! It is not haute-cuisine but rather basic Italian food with salad to start, then pasta or soup, followed by meat or fish, and finally a desert, plus free house red wine (which I found to be really poor quality and not worth drinking)"

- "Antonio and the entire staff are great. I had a very nice room and everything appeared to be new. Very clean and fully equipped. The view of the island of Cirella is spectacular, especially during sunset from the restaurant terrace. I sat there with my beer and just enjoyed the surroundings. My only suggestion is use softer pillows. I found them to be very hard. Loved the staff and breakfast and Calabrese hospitality. I would stay again!"

Its privileged position on a small hill overlooking the sea and the whole coast to the south, allows you to enjoy a spectacular panoramic view and benefit from the sea breeze; but from the garden you can also enjoy the beautiful view of the adjacent high hills which in Calabria degrade directly towards the sea. The villa is located in a small park consisting of 12 units with common green spaces. In the villa, surrounded by a private garden of about 800m, there are 3 apartments in total, each of which has a portion of a private garden / terrace equipped for outdoor dining and with a private outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Inside the garden of the villa there is a beautiful private panoramic swimming pool that can be used by guests from Monday to Friday (open only in the summer months)

The apartment consists of two rooms with independent entrance from the large panoramic terrace. On the living room with kitchenette, separate laundry / storage area, ceiling fan, double sofa bed and full bathroom; the large French window overlooks the terrace equipped with table, chairs and umbrellas and armchairs for enjoying outdoor dining. A hallway divides the bedroom with double bed, wardrobe ceiling fan and also overlooks the terrace. A comfortable outdoor shower with hot and cold water allows you to enjoy pleasant moments of relaxation.

- "This Villa is as good as the photo's make it look and we enjoyed a very nice stay in Diamante at the time of the annual Chilli festival. The villa is tucked up a hill and as we were arriving after dark, Paula the owner offered to meet us just outside Diamante to take us to the accommodation personally (a nice touch). The facilities at the villa are very good, the kitchen is well equipped, toilet & shower very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The best thing about the villa is that it comes with use of the pool and at the time we went there was no-one else in the Villa so we had it all to ourselves for a wonderful four days. Paula arranged for us to have a cot and a high chair for our one yr old and she couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The only slight negative is that the villa is situated 1km up a hill and whilst the walk from the town isn't that far, the walk up the hill is quite challenging as it's quite a steep hill. As long as you hire a car for your trip it's not a problem. For the amount charged for our stay this place is very good indeed and we would happily recommend it to any Brits wanting to see real Italy as the Italians enjoy it. "
