“Villa Perla del Lago” was built in around 1920 and has belonged to the landlord’s family since 1950. In 2011-2012 it was completely restructured but at the same time maintaining many of its original distinguishing characteristics. It is positioned in a splendid sunlit spot just above Domaso on the western side of Lake Como and offers its visitors a breathtaking full landscape view: on one side one can admire the top of the lake starting from the mouth of the affluent river Adda and on the other gaze southwards as far as Bellagio. The recent restoration on the villa has preserved and partly refurbished the Liberty style which was typical of Lake Como’s villas at the beginning of the 1900s: the paintings on the walls and ceilings, the antique furniture of the bedrooms, the doors and the striking stone staircase. While maintaining this style we have tried to create a comfortable and functional setting and so the kitchen and bathroom are furnished with modern and practical items.
From spring 2016 the villa is able to receive a maximum of 14 people as also the penthouse has been completed. Please ask for rates!

- "A wonderful property in a great location with stunning views of the lake and alps. We could never tire of the view from the veranda when we sat our for dinner every night. The property was clean and well equipped and the hosts very attentive and dealt with our needs immediately. If anything the description of the property undersells it. There is no mention in the details of the gym equipment on the open covered veranda next to the hot-tub, the football pool or the sand pit. My only complaint would be that we had to pay for additional electricity as we went over the 45kWh included in the price, which isn't clear from the description. I do understand why there is a limit with energy prices so high, but we did not use electricity wastefully, so I think the inclusive amount is too low. Having said all that, thank you Romina for a lovely stay. This property and location is not too be missed. I would recommend without reservation."

- "Wij zijn hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenares. Eind april 2022 een week verbleven waardoor de verwarming wel nodig was. Appartement netjes en ruim, mooie keuken met oven en vaatwasser (geen magnetron). Het bankje in de kamer was wel slecht. Beetje gehorig want stemmen en schuiven met stoelen van andere appartement is wel te horen. Mooie locatie nabij het Como meer, paar minuten lopen omdat er geen directe weg naar het meer loopt. Winkel op 2 minuten loopafstand. Zeker aanrader."
