We had a rental car so I’m not sure how it would have been had we not but I was not paying any attention to public transportation while staying in Alma house. The house was modern and appeared to be updated. Everything was nice and new. What was disappointing was the quality of the mattresses. While they appeared to be new they were of poor quality. The box springs could be felt in all of them. The stairs to get to the bedrooms and bathrooms were a bit steep and inclined for my elderly mother and aunt. Challenging but doable. There is a backyard, but because it was full of overgrown weeds we could not utilize it."

Aldi supermarket is just down the road, as well as some great local takeaways, shops, pubs & restaurants! Also nearby is a huge Morrisons supermarket plus all of the shops on Eccles High Street.
