- "Great, quiet location, near grocery store and a small pub type eatery in the same parking lot. Food was great at the pub. Hotel offers free coffee, tea, cookies, muffins and fruit 24 hours a day. Unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to try their breakfast as we had breakfast at relatives home. It is completely equipped, with many upgrades. We are completely off grid with power coming from solar panels. We do have a back up generator for rainy days. The real feature of this property is its location. It is located in Alberta's boreal forest at the end of a dead end road, 15 kms from the nearest neighbor. Your privacy is assured. You can xcountry ski, ATV, snowmobile, hike, bike or view wildlife right from the front door. There is downhill skiing 20 minutes away.
