But, the room was clean, the bedding was comfortable, and guest services were excellent from check in to check out. Bathroom spotless, with plenty of linens and bath supplies. Room temperature was nice and warm on that cold night, temperature was fully adjustable so heat was turned down a bit for comfortable night's sleep. The only negatives: a few of the dresser drawers were loose and one was missing a drawer pull handle and there was no hair dryer in the room. I believe i could have obtained one from the front desk if i had needed one though. Also front desk closes at 10 p.m. Free continental breakfast included which was more than adequate. It included 2 kinds of bread for toasting, breakfast pastries, cold cereal selection, yogurt, and coffee, tea and milk. All included and we got a room for 4 people for $88 plus tax. Can't be beat for a group planning a hunting trip or nature hike in the area. Also the towns nearby have multiple shopping areas, eateries and places to visit. Area was quiet and safe."

Bear Den is situated along Route 555 with a large grass yard and hot tub! Less than 5 miles from Benezette! Enjoy the peaceful setting surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Pennsylvania from the hot tub. We are just far enough from the craziness, but close enough to enjoy a short drive to town. This cabin is open year round which makes it perfect for a family getaway, special occasion, hunting or fishing trip! Come here to watch the elk! Bear Den is a great option for those with limited mobility or even wheelchairs. Sleeps up to 7.
The Bear Den is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin that can sleep 7 comfortably and has a hot tub on a covered porch! With an accessibility ramp out front, you enter the cabin into the living room that has a couch, recliner, smart TV, and electric fireplace. Through to the kitchen, you'll find countertop seating at the bar or pull up a chair around our live edge walnut table! The kitchen is stocked with basic kitchen essentials such as pots, pans, spatulas, plates, bowls, silverware, etc. Both bedrooms feature king beds with an additional camp bed and the sofa bed being used for extra sleep spaces. Linens and towels are provided!

Wilson's Paradise also offers a one bedroom motel room style rental called The Stone Front, also available on VRBO. The cabins are located on a private road away from the highway. Deer and Bear are often on the premises and occasionally Elk will venture through. Medix Run offers excellent trout fishing, hunting and wildlife viewing. There is also a large creek approx 1/2 mile away from Wilson's Paradise Lodging that is a popular kayak route when there is sufficient water.

Cookware/dishes are available for use in the kitchens, but bring your own spices, cooking oils, coffee, etc. Bottled water is provided, do not drink the tap water.

Welcome to the Eagle's Nest of Rock Hill Cabins. Although it is just a short drive right off of Route 555, we recommend a SUV or truck four wheel drive might help to get here! The last 75 yards of driveway is steep but I do take my car up it regularly. Nestled on the side of the mountain on a very private setting you will get the rest and relaxation you are looking for. Sleeps up to 7, this 40 ft park model has all you need and nothing you don't!
The Eagle's Nest is a 40ft park model with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and large deck! The primary bedroom features a queen bed and the second bedroom has a double bed and a twin bunk. The kitchen is stocked with your basic kitchen essentials. All linens and towels are provided!

- "Beautiful, clean property! Trailer is well stocked with everything you may need to cook inside and a great fire pit for outside cooking on the fire or with the included grill. The only downfall was the fact that there is literally no cell phone reception on site or in most of Benezette…thus I stress the importance of printing out or taking a screenshot of the key code and wifi password BEFORE coming to the site. Learn from our mistake…ha ha…this is no way hindered our amazing experience here, but definitely learn from our recommendation…ha ha Thank you for allowing us to stay at this beautiful property! It made lots of wonderful memories for our family as we were celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary this weekend. Our family had a great time staying here and will be back!"

The Stone Front is partitioned off from the owner-occupied main house. There is no doorway between the house and The Stone Front and the only thing shared is the driveway. The Stone Front at Wilson's Paradise is nothing fancy, but it is a cozy retreat to relax and sleep after a day of elk viewing in the heart of the PA Wilds. There is Wifi, Smart-tv, Refrigerator, Microwave and Propane Grill (propane provided) on the porch. Bedding & Towels provided, you bring everything else including utensils and plates if planning on grilling. There is no kitchen in the unit. The porch is a great place to relax and have a few drinks at the end of a long day.

- "The cabin was very clean and we enjoyed the full kitchen for our meals. It was so nice to be close to all the viewing areas and saw elk several times. Only unhandy thing is the neighbors in trailer had music playing almost constantly, which disrupted the quietness on the porch." - "Great place very near the heart of the area. Our source of water was designed to collect rain water.
With that being said, our water is non potable!

Our tree house is custom made by our own wood. (no commercial sources)

We used over 10 types of wood in the tree house.

Please keep in mind that you are staying in a TREE HOUSE !! Not in a hotel room. We only provide the essentials, ask us if you have any questions.

The stairs are not design for large individuals.

Kids should be under supervision

Pets are not allowed on any furniture, ( there would be an extra cleaning fee is there is hair around ) we would ask you for a $200 pet deposit additional to the pet fee, that would be reimburse at check out after an inspection.

- "This is a clever, beautiful and unique rental in the heart of the Benezette Elk viewing. Mere feet off the main road it sets up against the forest and mountain with a beautiful stream in the back. The property appears to still be a work in progress outside, everything seems clean and new inside. Due to the support of the building partially hanging from the trees and partially on stilts the house is settling unevenly causing minor issues such as uneven flooring and a sliding glass door that is difficult to close. There are 2 small porches and 2 decent sized bedrooms with queen beds upstairs with a small sitting area. The entire rental is new and clean currently The kitchen is generous size with a bar to eat and all amenities one needs. There is a small common area to sit & watch the worlds smallest lcd tv. Great WiFi allows for tv and the only way to check messages and get gps directions to find your way anywhere-there is no cell service at all for miles with att/Verizon on a new iPhone. Negatives are the price is high/ out of proportion to other rentals ($630/n) but that’s a choice you make. There is ONE small but sufficient full bath downstairs and the only water source is from the rainfall held in a plastic tank so the water is NOT drinkable for showers and dishes. The hot water tank is VERY small so allow time. MANY larger or infirm renters WONT fit the circular stairs to the bedrooms & the rental isn’t child safe I REALLY enjoyed & would rtn if price drop"
