This is in a secluded location and only .2 of a mile from Ohiopyle State Park, only 2.5 miles to Ohiopyle proper. The garage is attached to the owners beautiful cedar home with a rugged pillar of stone on the outside and the inside as well. From the second floor location, one can look out to beautiful Meadow Run Creek, a very enjoyable trout stream. In this direction one can see the private space designed for our guests with small table, Adirondack chairs, propane firepit, and an assortment of birds at the feeders! The apartment is cozy and comfy. The kitchen is complete with gas stove, refrigerator, and beautiful cherry cabinets. The bedroom has a queen size bed, walk-in closet. There are only a handful of rental homes located within the town of Ohiopyle. We love this house because you don't have to drive back and forth to out of town lodging. Your group can be together but doing the separate activities that they enjoy. Everyone can meet up by foot for a hike, picnic, or swim in the river. Grandma and Grandpa will love being in the mix without having to drive back and forth for each activity. Our Grandparents sure do!

- "We originally booked the Orndorff cabin and it was absolutely adorable! However, a couple nights into our stay, a bat found its way inside and woke us up in the middle of the night. Bats are lovely little animals and they’re important for the environment….but I didn’t really want to share a living space with one. I called the rental agency first thing the next morning and they had me packed up and moved to another property within the hour. The other property was way bigger and cost more than our original rental but they didn’t charge us extra or make us move back and forth once the bat was removed from the first place. Other than our bat friend, both properties were very clean and well maintained. Next time I visit the area I will absolutely book through OVR again."

This vacation rental oasis has much to offer. The home includes ample space inside with the 2 bedroom, 1 bath, with open concept living area; but, it is the outdoor spaces that will really "wow" you. The property includes two decks on both sides of the house, a fire pit, and 10 acres to enjoy! The view from the top of the property is fantastic to do a picnic or catch the an evening of star gazing--for which the Ohiopyle area (with it's low ambient light) is known! For the safety or our guests and the protection of the property against criminal activity, all guests understand that, at a minimum, there is a “Blink” security camera type located at the front and rear entrance of the cabin to monitor access/egress and driveway areas. Security cameras are in use 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

Guests should not remove, disturb, modify or damage any part of the onsite security system. IF this occurs it will result in the loss of security deposit or added charges, which ever applies.

This is a house that is divided into two units. This unit is half of a house and has a living room, two bedrooms with two queen beds (one per bedroom), includes mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. Includes heat and air condition, one bath with tub and shower.

Linens: Includes towels, washcloths, and bedding. Mattresses are new and were replaced on July 22, 2021.

This exceptional retreat home is a 2 bed/2 bath mountain chalet that sits at the end of a private drive tucked away on a wooded lot. This home boasts amazing privacy with the surrounding wooded acreage that is highlighted by mature hemlocks, rhododendron and large boulders. The privacy is sublime but the view is even more impressive as the chalet sits on a “stone ledge” that overlooks the fishing locally renown Beaver Creek. Guests will enjoy the sound of moving water most months of the year as they sit on the chalet’s front deck. The home even includes walking trails that allow folks to further explore and enjoy this exquisite mountain getaway.

As guests walk through the front door they will be greeted by the well-appointed kitchen with gas fireplace. As you leave the kitchen and move into the home, floor to ceiling windows and vaulted ceiling make this home’s great room a quick favorite. On cold Fall or Winter nights the great room’s propane log fireplace creates the coziest of evenings. The 1st floor Master Suite, down the hall from the great room with king bed and private full bathroom invites rest and relaxation for couples looking to get away to the mountains in style and comfort. The spiral staircase opens up to a small landing and 2nd master suite with a queen bed and full bathroom. This mountain chalet makes for the perfect couple’s retreat!

Please note: This home sits on a rock ledge that is about a 60 feet drop to the stream. For safety reasons, this home is not suitable for young children. Please do not book this home if you have children under the age of 6 in your reservation.

Security cameras are in use 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Guests should not remove, disturb, modify or damage any part of the onsite security system. Check the restaurants websites for live music & huge flea markets on the weekends. White water rafting is available in Ohiopyle as well as hiking and natural water slides. Our camper is located on our farm and you have your complete privacy. Wake up and have your coffee sitting outside watching the horses eat their breakfast. All of your essentials are provided in our extremely clean mini home away from home. Please note: this is a double bed. Also, fold down couch could sleep 2 children Absolutely no parties on premises. No fire pit due to being on a farm.
