Water’s View is a beautiful apartment for two adults. The apartment is situated over a two car garage with private entrance. This is in a secluded location and only .2 of a mile from Ohiopyle State Park, only 2.5 miles to Ohiopyle proper. The garage is attached to the owners beautiful cedar home with a rugged pillar of stone on the outside and the inside as well. From the second floor location, one can look out to beautiful Meadow Run Creek, a very enjoyable trout stream. In this direction one can see the private space designed for our guests with small table, Adirondack chairs, propane firepit, and an assortment of birds at the feeders! The apartment is cozy and comfy. The kitchen is complete with gas stove, refrigerator, and beautiful cherry cabinets. The bedroom has a queen size bed, walk-in closet. The bathroom has a tub/shower, pedestal sink, and commode. There are smart TV's in the living room and bedroom. There is an outside grill located just outside the door. There are only a handful of rental homes located within the town of Ohiopyle. We love this house because you don't have to drive back and forth to out of town lodging. Your group can be together but doing the separate activities that they enjoy. Everyone can meet up by foot for a hike, picnic, or swim in the river. Grandma and Grandpa will love being in the mix without having to drive back and forth for each activity. Our Grandparents sure do!
The House has two upstairs bedrooms. One has a Queen bed and a fold away twin bed. The second bedroom has a Queen on the bottom bunk bed.

- "We originally booked the Orndorff cabin and it was absolutely adorable! However, a couple nights into our stay, a bat found its way inside and woke us up in the middle of the night. Bats are lovely little animals and they’re important for the environment….but I didn’t really want to share a living space with one. I called the rental agency first thing the next morning and they had me packed up and moved to another property within the hour. The other property was way bigger and cost more than our original rental but they didn’t charge us extra or make us move back and forth once the bat was removed from the first place. Other than our bat friend, both properties were very clean and well maintained. Next time I visit the area I will absolutely book through OVR again."

This vacation rental oasis has much to offer. The home includes ample space inside with the 2 bedroom, 1 bath, with open concept living area; but, it is the outdoor spaces that will really "wow" you. The property includes two decks on both sides of the house, a fire pit, and 10 acres to enjoy! The view from the top of the property is fantastic to do a picnic or catch the an evening of star gazing--for which the Ohiopyle area (with it's low ambient light) is known! The best is that this property is located less than 2 miles from downtown Ohiopyle, which means quick access to the bike trail, rafting, and fishing! Enjoy!

Please note this cabin sits at approximately 2900 feet elevation. Guests MUST have AWD/4WD to stay here from November 1-March 31. Guests that fail to abide by this advice will get stuck and be disappointed.

Security:

For the safety or our guests and the protection of the property against criminal activity, all guests understand that, at a minimum, there is a “Blink” security camera type located at the front and rear entrance of the cabin to monitor access/egress and driveway areas. Security cameras are in use 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

Guests should not remove, disturb, modify or damage any part of the onsite security system. IF this occurs it will result in the loss of security deposit or added charges, which ever applies.

This is a house that is divided into two units. This unit is half of a house and has a living room, two bedrooms with two queen beds (one per bedroom), includes mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. Includes heat and air condition, one bath with tub and shower.

Linens: Includes towels, washcloths, and bedding. Mattresses are new and were replaced on July 22, 2021.

There are plenty of local restaurants in walking distance. This cabin is pet free to allow our guests with allergies an enjoyable stay without fear. Must be 21 years of age and older to rent.

This unit is the first floor of the building with two queen beds (one per bedroom), sleeper sofa, full kitchen with stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. Includes heat and air conditioning, one bath with shower.

Linens are included: bath towels, washcloths, bedding and kitchen towels, as well as, paper products.

Primary renter will need to present an ID card or Driver's License with your reservation.

New carpet has been installed. Please be kind to the new carpet and leave shoes on the weather mat provided.

Free parking.

Fire pit available for use. It has been installed in the yard. Includes a fire poker. Wood can be purchased on our website and will be delivered to your unit before you arrive.

Laundromat available next door. We do not own it so please check the hours.

Garden hose available on the rear of unit #1 “The Andrea” or the front of #4, “The Joseph”

Maximum occupancy is up to 6.

All late check-outs without approval will be charged $50 per hour.

NO SMOKING. A $250 charge will be charged to the credit card for smoking within the unit. This includes cigarettes, weed or vaping.
