- "Hotel was clean, beds comfortable, very hot water, relatively remote and quiet. We arrived around 9pm and left around 8:30 am and only saw the lobby manager and one other guest, who was very pleasant. We had some trouble figuring out the heater but I think that was our fault (we didn't turn the fan up, so it wasn't blowing much). The toilet worked but was very low flow, so we had to flush several times for waste (but I suppose this is eco friendly). Breakfast was suitable for us and our kids - make your own waffles, individually wrapped pastries and muffins, oatmeal packs, tea, coffee, juice. Overall very suitable for our overnight stop over."

Stretch and stargaze from your deck, or right from your queen size bed with ceiling canvas tent views. Wade into the creek outside your tent door.

- "My husband and I have been avid campers for years, but sadly getting a bit older. Setting up and tearing down a campsite just isn’t what we want to do anymore, but didn’t want to give up the part of it we love. So, we decided to start “glamping”. This place was Glamping taken to the next level. Donnie and Nicole were great hosts, who thought of everything when putting together this gem. Mini fridge, microwave, coffeemaker!!!! Was wonderful falling asleep to the sound of the creek at night, and playing in it in the day. Sugarland Farm is located at 210 Sugarland Way. It was built as a large family home in 2011. It is a 5700 square foot French country home on 12.5 acres that is only 12 minutes to the interstate and approximately 15 minutes to the WVU Health Sciences Center campus and Football Stadium. The farm has goats and chickens to watch as you enjoy the countryside. The farm is at the end of 1/2 mile of gravel road and beyond the farm is hundreds of acres of mountainside.
The space
Guests can use the main two stories of the house but not the basement since it is reserved for storage and farm use. The basement is unfinished.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house with laundry, patio, and there is a rough fire pit. If possible, you may want to bring some camp chairs or let the owner know if you need camp chairs. There is outside seating for 18 on the patio.
Other things to note
Morgantown is home to WVU sporting events and many arts events. It has been ranked one of the best small cities. We are relatively close to activities like white water rafting. At night at Sugarland, you will hear owls, frogs, and other wildlife. The goats and chickens are maintained by the owners but farm eggs may be available with advance notice.

- "We had a large family gathering planned and this house was just what we needed. Each bedroom was very spacious and plenty of quiet place for each person to go. The kitchen areas was also large and plenty of space to spread out and eat meals together. The yard had a fire pit and swings for small children and animals for the children to enjoy, and the house was only 15-20 minutes away from shops and grocery stores.
