The master suite has its own patio that overlooks Cheat Lake and the deck out back is a great space to unwind. The ample space makes this property ideal for group travelers or those who want a little more room. Full garage access rounds this property out! Located minutes from I-68 and Suncrest town center/WVU campus'. This is a 4 story townhome, with the kitchen/living areas on the "2nd" floor and sleeping areas on the 3rd and 4th floors. The garage is usable for storage or parking. The garage door must remain shut when not in use. Please, no shoes past the 2nd floor. The best view of the lake is from the Master Bedroom balcony. The Kitchen has a "down draft" stove/oven. Note there is no hood/range above the appliance. Please turn the down draft fan on when using the stove/oven. The vapors are actually pulled down through the grate in the middle of the appliance and pushed outside. Guests will have access to the entire property, including the garage. The Gray/Stone house across the street, to the left of the mailboxes, including the gravel lot, is private property and off limits. A $250 fine is levied for trespassing. We live in a lakeside community so parking during peak seasons becomes an issue. Therefore our HOA enforces a strict No On Street Parking rule, as well as only 1 vehicle per driveway. Our unit offers an additional parking space inside the garage. Extra vehicles can be left in the Marina. We are local to the cheat lake area. There were cool features, such as the island drawer fridge and freezer and the fabulous spiral staircase. We had snow one day which made for a fantastic view out over the lake. The hot tub was great and one of the features we were looking for in a weekend rental. All in all a very cool space which was the perfect setting for a wonderful weekend."

Brand new 2 bdrm 2.5 bath townhome with garage in the Cheat Lake area. First floor has livingroom, kitchen, dining area and powder room. Both bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor. Each bedroom has it's own bath. Approx. 10 minutes to WVU campus, stadium and hospitals.

It is on the outskirts of Morgantown, but less than 1 minute from I-68. The unit was very clean and had modern appliances and TV. The internet and cable services were excellent. My uncle, who has physical limitations, had to walk up and down 3 flights of stairs to get to our room, which was very taxing for him. There were no basic cleaning supplies provided, which made tidying up after meals a bit challenging. Additionally, the TVs could use an update to enhance the overall experience.Despite these small drawbacks, we enjoyed our time here and would consider staying again with a few improvements."

Our Lovely Lake House has three bedrooms: one King, one Queen, and a Bunk with Full, Twin and Trundle. The living room sofa can also comfortably sleep two! We have two full bathrooms, one of which was completely renovated to include a walk-in shower and sleek design.

- "As advertised" - "Our stay was nice and the property was fine. At check in, however, the man at the desk couldn't find our reservation. We had to wait 20 minutes for someone to call him back to confirm. Apparently, the desk responsible for check in does not have access to any of the online records, only a printed out spreadsheet that he said someone made weekly from a handwritten list. That was baffling. Eventually it worked out. The house was fine. The location was beautiful. The spa was really really nice. The fitness center was great. It was really convenient to get to the lake and good restaurants. The house was clean. The club house and pool were nice too. The only other thing was that they could have been a little more generous with supplies-- one trash bag, one extra toilet paper roll, and one dishwasher pod for a week seems a little stingy. Like, come on, you can give out an extra $3 in supplies over a week to make the stay nicer. Overall, however, I would recommend it with the caviar to call ahead to the front desk verify check in before you arrive."

- "Thanks for accommodating our big group!" - "The entire property/complex is older which is fine. The unit we had appears to not be rented regularly and smelled very musty and closed up when we arrived late on our first evening. We travel a lot and stay in VRBO type homes often. This is the first that was so unused there was literally nothing in the cabinets or drawers. The deck was so slick with moss we couldn’t get on it. There was no view of the lake. Other than those things, it was fine and we made do. The beds slept good. It was clean, just really outdated. "

- "I stayed at the Lakeview Gold Resort condos earlier in the year because the hotel was under renovation. When it was time to book for the family reunion, I found I could rent the condo separately from the hotel on VRBO. We had lots of space and were able to have other family members stop by and visit thru the weekend. It sleeps 5, but the king bed could sleep at least three adults if you needed extra bed space. The kitchen is well equipped with necessary items and the laundry room is a plus. The clubhouse and pool can be used by you and your guests. There is a large game room with pool tables, video games, jukebox, fireplace, books and board games. The kitchen and dining area are convenient if you plan to have a larger group get together as well. There are two balconies; one off the living room and one off the master bedroom. We watched the golfers. Both bedrooms have a full bathroom and there is a half bath on the first floor. The second bedroom has two single beds and the living room couch is a sofa bed. There is plenty of room for air mattresses as well for a larger group. The rate is very reasonable for everything you have access to and the comfort of the condo over a hotel room. Also, there is a full gym, restaurant available and bar at the hotel as well as a spa on property that sells good coffee and smoothies. A marina is very close where you can rent kayaks and pontoon boats. Boats sell out, so book early. Very close to hiking or shopping as well. I will book again!"

- "I booked this as my honeymoon spot for my husband and I and it was great!" - "This is a basic, no frills condo on a golf course. We enjoyed the deck on sunny days. The fitness center is dated but has everything you need. Parking for one car near the condo, 2nd car needed to be parked down the hill. Water pressure was lacking but did not interrupt our stay. This is not a fancy stay, but everything we needed was there. Lots of stairs and hills. People who worked there are very nice and responsive."
