There are only a handful of rental homes located within the town of Ohiopyle. We love this house because you don't have to drive back and forth to out of town lodging. Your group can be together but doing the separate activities that they enjoy. Everyone can meet up by foot for a hike, picnic, or swim in the river. Grandma and Grandpa will love being in the mix without having to drive back and forth for each activity. Our Grandparents sure do!
The House has two upstairs bedrooms. One has a Queen bed and a fold away twin bed. The second bedroom has a Queen on the bottom bunk bed.

- "We originally booked the Orndorff cabin and it was absolutely adorable! However, a couple nights into our stay, a bat found its way inside and woke us up in the middle of the night. Bats are lovely little animals and they’re important for the environment….but I didn’t really want to share a living space with one. I called the rental agency first thing the next morning and they had me packed up and moved to another property within the hour. The other property was way bigger and cost more than our original rental but they didn’t charge us extra or make us move back and forth once the bat was removed from the first place. Other than our bat friend, both properties were very clean and well maintained. Next time I visit the area I will absolutely book through OVR again."

For the safety or our guests and the protection of the property against criminal activity, all guests understand that, at a minimum, there is a “Blink” security camera type located at the front and rear entrance of the cabin to monitor access/egress and driveway areas. Security cameras are in use 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

Guests should not remove, disturb, modify or damage any part of the onsite security system. IF this occurs it will result in the loss of security deposit or added charges, which ever applies.

- "Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: In it's current state this suite should not be rented. We arrived to find no parking except in an alley where people leaving the bar next door could hit our cars. There were multiple cigarette butts in an ashtray on the deck. An incredibly loud AC unit was on in the living area that could not cool the bedrooms. The windows will not open so get fresh/cooler air. The toilet did not work properly from the time we got there then overflowed. After investigating we found out a local whitewater company owned the suite. We called them since the rental company had not done anything when we called. Other things- the TV does not work. No cell phone service. No wifi. The vent fan on the stove did not work. We left a day early. Oh, a laundry in underneath and makes the entire suite shake and vibrate which was amusing, until it happened after 9 at night."

You will find yourself in love with the peaceful, private and serene surroundings of this camper. This has a full size bed and a leather couch that converts to full bed. We strive for clean! All necessary items are provided-coffee, tea, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, kitchen essentials, bath essentials. We do allow 1 small pet with a 75.00 pet fee. High chair, baby toys available upon request. Although this camper is on property it is completely secluded from owners home. It has a brand new porch deck to sit and watch the sun come up from the hillside. It is very private! Centrally located to all area attractions and restaurants. Only an hour away from the museums, restaurants, Children & Carnegie science centers, Pittsburgh zoo and attractions in Pittsburgh. Mattress and pillow case protectors on all pillows and bed. There is so much to do in Ohiopyle including the Youghiogheny River trail (GAP) as well as rafting, kayaking, natural water slide and much more. It is surrounded by the The Falls, Ohiopyle House Cafe, bike rentals, snacks, icecream, and sandwich shops. All within walking distance. You can also drive to such sites as Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob, Fort Necessity, Braddocks Grave, Laurel Caverns, and Jumonville.

Upstairs, you will find a master suite with queen bed, attached bath and a walk-in closet (a pack and play is provided, upon your request). Also upstairs, are two other bedrooms with queen beds and another full bathroom at the end of the hall.

You will have full access to the home and property, with the exception of the attached garage and basement, which will be locked.

High Speed Satellite internet service is provided at the home to enjoy streaming or for a remote work opportunity. There is limited cellular service at the home, you can utilize the high speed internet service for wifi-calling. The home is served by well water and septic. The water has been tested and is perfectly safe for use. There are filters used for the home, but you may notice a slight odor due to the high iron content of the water. Some bottled water will be provided at the start of your stay in the event that you are making a late arrival and do not have time to stop on your way in! If you would like assistance with grocery preparation, etc. prior to your stay, please reach out to us in advance and we can assist in arranging it. The nearest grocery store is about 20 minutes way. The gravel road is maintained and accessible by any vehicle, but an AWD/4WD vehicle is recommended if snow is expected during your stay.
