The Finch House is a beautiful home designed with you in mind. From the moment you walk through the door, the open floor plan and modern conveniences will make you feel right at home. As you enter, the open kitchen overlooks the dining and living area with a view of the 21 foot tall stone wood burning fireplace. Off the living area, but close to the action, is a cozy sitting and entertainment area, that has a wall mounted 55" smart tv with Xfinity cable. The first floor master offers a king bed, dresser, and night stands. The master bathroom and walk-in closet are located off the bedroom separated by a beautiful barn door. The first floor also has easy access to a powder room, open laundry area and closet. The second floor contains two large bedrooms with a shared bath. The bedroom, with a queen bed, sits overlooking the creek and also contains barn style doors that can be opened to look down on the living area and fireplace or closed for privacy. The second bedroom contains a twin over full bunk and a loft style bunk bed. Decorated in a National Park outdoor theme, this room is designed to get the adventurer juices flowing for both young and old. Continue down the open hall past large old barn beams to the open loft that has views of the creek, living room, and dining area. This large historic home has been fully renovated for luxurious short-term stays. This 7 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom home is suited to sleep up to 18 people. An open, chef's kitchen (including 3 ovens and a 6 burner gas stove) make's cooking large holiday or family meals a true pleasure. The kitchen is open to a dining room with seating for all. There is a den with television and games, ideal for children. Additionally, there is a beautiful grand family room with chapel-like vaulted ceilings and wood-burning fireplace. The scenic value of this home is unbelievable. The home sits on 80 acres of walkable trails and overlooks its own picture book of mountain springs, creeks, and a historic barn that dates back to the early 1800's.

- "the house was really nice. We had 8 adults and 8 kids stay with room for all of us. The extra ovens in the pantry/laundry area made cooking for that large a group really easy. Extra fridge for drinks was great too. I recommend some mixing bowls if needed in your meal plans or you need to use one of the pots there. The pool was chilly but the owners were quick to help us make it warmer. The field was great for silly games and sports. We might bring a cart to take down some heavier things next time. Would recommend for a friends and family trip where you just want to hang out together and relax. Looking to book again!"

Newly added (June 2023) second floor bathroom with shower and window view of rolling hills has been very popular with guests. We also added a washer dryer on first floor which makes the cabin a complete dream spot to enjoy.

Gourmet style kitchen for hanging out or preparing a meal. If you like to cook, you’ll find a large selection of pots and pans, serving pieces and ceramic dishware. Plenty of water and wine glasses and assorted other kitchen items such as waffle maker, blender and coffee press.

Beautiful deck-porch off the sun room at the lower level is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view and peace and quiet of the countryside. Great place for morning coffee too.

Cabin decor is an eclectic mix of furniture- antiques, thrift shop finds and interesting artwork and artifacts. "rustic!"

The cozy sunroom is a combination living room and dining area that is the favorite place to hang. Nine windows give you a birds eye view to the woods, mountains, fields and meadows. The gas fired ‘wood’ stove heats up at the flip of a switch and keeps it toasty and cozy. In the kitchen the cast iron wood stove is available to enjoy a real woodburning fire.

Industrial style staircase leads from the upper level to the lower level entrance, complete with flowering garden on each side. Where this cool welded hunk of metal staircase came from, we don't know, but we love it and it is a favorite spot to sit.

The surrounding area is filled with many activities and areas to explore when Snow season is here!

Enjoy skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, or sitting in the lodge and enjoying the view at the major snow attractions in the area.

Area ski and snow resorts include Seven Springs, Laurel Mountain, and Hidden Valley. All are easily accessible and offer many family activities for enjoying the beautiful seasons.

The town of Ligonier is 3 easy miles away with its many restaurants and charming shops. The Diamond is the gazebo and small park at the center of town that is beautifully decorated for the holiday and winter as well as year round.

Enjoy hiking and relaxing at the beautiful Linn Run sate park, only 15 minutes away.

Please note that the cabin front is very close to a low traffic Wilpen road. We have had many guests with small children stay as well as pets and this hasn't been an issue but wanted to point it out clearly.

Please also note that the cabin is built into a hillside so there are steps to navigate. If you or anyone in your party has climbing or navigating stairs as an issue, please check pictures before you book. Bedrooms are on upper level with stairs to the lower level kitchen, sunroom, bathroom.

Pets are welcome- you will be charged a $50.00 fee when booking. We ask that you keep pets contained in a crate (condo:) if left unattended. Also, we provide extra sheets for furniture and bed covering if your pet is on these pieces. Please clean up and keep pet hair to minimum. You will be charged for additional cleaning if necessary. Thank you for your understanding.

- "We had a great stay over Memorial Day weekend to kick off our summer. The cabin was exactly as described, with some renovations going on that the hosts made sure to warn us about, so no surprises there. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed, and the lower level bathroom looks recently done, with another bathroom on the upper floor in the works. The hosts were very friendly and made sure we felt welcome, and gave us tips on things to try in the region. If you're staying over the weekend and want to try Wyldfire Bread, be sure to preorder on Thursday afternoon; when I checked their website Friday morning, everything was already sold out. The only thing to keep in mind is that the hill the cabin is built on is pretty steep. There are stairs from the lower parking area all the way to the porch, with a landing at the lower level. I'd recommend taking luggage and such in through the front door, it leads straight to the bedrooms and you don't have to haul everything up the hill. This was a great stay for us!"

Welcome to Sycamore! Our nicely refinished and decorated ranch home provides you with all the comforts you need. The streamside location (that's Mill Creek, one of the finest trout streams in PA) with private back yard space lets you stretch out and release a little before you go to town! You'll find easy parking and a few steps to the MAIN/BACK/REAR entrance. The rarely used front entrance has 3 steps and can only be open from the inside. There is plenty of space to roam, and I am working on creating a butterfly and pollinator garden! I have provided a fire ring for your use, however the wood is hit or miss on site. Sheetz sells it in bundles! Feel free to clear up any twigs on the grounds for kindling. There is also lockable storage in the shed behind the garage, bring your own lock! You might find a bike in there for your enjoyment as well!

Beautiful Cozy Cottage nestled on the banks of the Loyalhanna Creek on scenic Darlington Road in the Laurel Highlands. Spend your days relaxing on our spacious back deck nestled in the large trees overlooking the beautiful Loyalhanna Creek. It will be hard to beat the sights and sounds of nature. Grill your favorite foods on our LP gas grill and enjoy the meal outdoors at our large table. You can also snuggle up to the beautiful gas fireplace with your favorite book. Watch a variety of shows and movies on the 40" flat screen tv with 100+ cable channels, Roku, Netflix, and Discovery+. The kitchen has a newly installed dishwasher and is fully stocked with pots, pans, silverware, and dishes, etc. The exterior kitchen wall is lined with windows bringing in sunlight and highlighting nature and the outdoors. The Cottage has central air conditioning and heating. An office area is also included with high-speed Wi-Fi, table, and a printer. There is a couch that opens to a double sleeper also in the bedroom/office area that is perfect for 2 guests. A fifth guest can sleep on a twin sleeper bed located in the living room. Our cottage will now comfortably accomodate 5 guests. A washer and dryer are provided in the basement. It's wonderful to relax on the large deck with amazing views of the beautiful creek below. A Weber LP gas grill is provided for cookouts. Enjoy evenings around the outdoor firepit on Adirondack chairs with your favorite beverage. We provide the firewood and marshmallows! We hope you will plan a future stay at our Cozy Cottage!
There is access to the Loyalhanna Creek down the hill, but we don't recommend walking down the hill. It is pretty sloped and can be easy for our guests to slip and fall. Walking down hill at your own risk. There is an easy access to the creek straight across from our cottage. It is a short walk or drive across the bridge to an entry area that is only 3 feet elevation to navigate. There is also spots over there to park your car.

Stone 3 bedroom, newly updated home located 3 blocks from town center. Within walking distance to grocery store, shops, laundromat,restaurants, bars, churches and parks. Great location. Entire house has been recently updated .There is a cozy front porch with dining sofa and chairs and a propane firepit. The back porch has a gas grill for your convience. Inside the stylish living room is a non working fireplace and a smart tv on the mantal. The dining room has seating for 6. The downstairs bathroom has a glass surround shower and toliet. The stairs to go up to 2nd floor are extremely steep and not for people who have a hard time climbing stairs. Both bedrooms upstairs have smart TV's .The rear of the house faces a restaurant where there are exhaust fans and their storage area. We are currently working to build a fence between the two.
The location of the property is top notch and the inside decor is stylish with all your needs for a stay in our small historical town. The space
Perfect for every season! Our creek is stocked with trout in March and April & season begins early April. We have a king bedroom with attached bath, and a queen bedroom. Make yourself at home with our kitchen amenities and Nespresso Cappucino machine. Outside is a swing set and several spots for relaxing in nature. Our creek is part of the Trout Trail partnership among state parks, Trout Unlimited chapters and attractions throughout the region, the 70-mile north/south Laurel Highlands Trout Trail highlights all of the region's incredible fishing opportunities.
Other things to note
Our cabin is on acreage and we do have a few neighbors who are full time residents. We ask that you be respectful of them while enjoying the creek and outdoor space. Noise ordinance is 8 p.m. in Ligonier.

"Ye Old Ligonier House" is located on Rt. 30, just 1/4 mile east of the Ligonier diamond. This house sits on 2.3 acres of land, surrounded by two creeks. The main floor includes a living room with pull-out couch, bathroom, 2 bedrooms, 1950’s kitchen for 4, and sun porch seating 6. With hardwood floors throughout, the house is neat and tidy.

There you will find charming shops and unique restaurants, or get a history lesson at Fort Ligonier. You can also take advantage of abundant outdoor activities in the Laurel Highlands. Hiking at Linn Run State Park is a 10-minute drive. For day trips, visit Seven Springs Resort, Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater, Flight 93 Memorial, or the Johnstown Flood Museums.

The space
The fully renovated 4 room apartment is cozy (525 square feet with 7 foot ceilings). Yet the standalone building and separate rooms offer opportunity for privacy even when traveling with another person. Please know that the shower stall is small and larger sized people (over 6'5") may not be comfortable. Be aware that the only way into the space is a flight of exterior stairs (11 steps) and no elevator is available. And lastly, note that the smart TV has a few local channels, a full range of Samsung TV Programming, and wifi access for streaming but it does NOT have cable.

The building that houses the 2nd floor apartment is not attached to the main house on the property. Guests have the building all to themselves and have access to the entire second floor apartment. Guests do not have access to the first floor garage but there is free driveway parking. The attic is off-limits.

Dogs welcome! (no other animals please). Important to note that dogs may not be left unattended more than 4 hours.

Perfect for every season! Our creek is stocked with trout in March and April & season begins early April. We have a king bedroom with attached bath with sunken jacuzzi tub,and a queen bedroom. The guest bathroom has a shower. Make yourself at home with our kitchen amenities and Nespresso Cappucino machine. Outside is a swing set and several spots for relaxing in nature or enjoying a bonfire. Our creek is part of the Trout Trail partnership among state parks, Trout Unlimited chapters and attractions throughout the region, the 70-mile north/south Laurel Highlands Trout Trail highlights all of the region's incredible fishing opportunities. Skiing 17 miles away. Pets case by case $150 non refundable $30 more for 2- we require a crate for your animal any time they are left unattended in our home. There is no fence and we require a leash at all times. We will consider pets case by case- contact us for considerations. **4wd vehicles are highly recommended during snow in this mountain setting. This is a creekside setting so please be diligent during heavy rainfall and potential flooding.** It is important to purchase travel insurance since we cannot provide refunds due to snow, ice or flooding. Our cabin is on acreage and we do have a few neighbors who are full time residents. We ask that you be respectful of them while enjoying the creek and outdoor space. Noise ordinance is 8 p.m. in Ligonier. Parties and events are not allowed. Like all Air BnBs we ask that you wash and put away all used dishes and throw away all garbage to avoid extra cleaning fees.

Welcome to Ligonier, PA. Four Mile Cottage, nestled in the Laurel Highlands, is located at the end of a Private Lane along Four Mile Creek. Convenient Location! We are a short distance from the Idlewild Park & Soak Zone, Ligonier Diamond, Laurel Mountain Ski Resort, hiking trails, Mtb trails, wineries, and breweries. Under 1 hour from Seven Springs, Hidden Valley, Nemacolin, Ohio Pyle, and Greensburg LIVE Casino. This location is perfect for an adventurous or relaxing getaway.

The space
This cottage is 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bath. Large outdoor space offers a 600+ sq foot deck overlooking Four Mile Creek and an outdoor fire pit. The cottage is at the end of a private gravel lane. The lane has a strict 5 mile speed limit. The home has 4 parking spaces, two of which are covered.

Inside, you will find the cozy home is well-stocked and ready for your stay. Washer, dryer, hair dryer, and basic toiletries. The center of the home offers a large kitchen island and spiral staircase. The loft area is a designated space for work or lounging with full-sized desk and chair.
The living room offers wall to wall windows showcasing the creek just steps off the large back deck. There is a 65-inch SMART TV. The electric pellet fireplace will offer immediate warmth and ambiance.
Both bedrooms are on the first floor. The first bedroom offers a large Serta King sized bed with oversized Casaluna throw blanket.
The other room offers a Queen bed and full dresser.
Pack and Play available, no newborn insert. Sheets included.

The kitchen offers a Keurig Coffee maker with K-cups, black tea, creamers, and sugar. French Press also included. Appliances include- full size fridge and freezer, air fryer, blender, pots, pans, toaster, dishes/utensils, and children’s dinnerware.

The outside space includes a large back deck with cozy Adirondack chairs, dining table, and fire pit with fire wood included on site. Come ready to grill on our electric Pit Boss Pellet Grill/Smoker.

And have a fun time around the outdoor rustic fire pit- seasoned woodstacks are provided to get you started. This is the 'Rustic, cozy getaway cabin' Recently (July 2023)updated including new upstairs shower- bathroom with with great window views of rolling hills and countryside. The cabin is tucked into the hillside and is an eclectic mix of found treasures and clean, modern conveniences. Great beds, cozy rooms, multiple fireplaces including outdoor rustic fire pit. Enjoy the calm of the countryside while minutes away from so many things to do.

You have access to the entire cabin. The cabin is approx. 800 square feet with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, washer and dryer. Entry foyer upstairs, as well as entry from downstairs porch.

Enjoy the Gourmet style kitchen, every amenity including microwave, waffle maker, blender, coffee press, mandoline, hand mixer, juices and other equipment for cooking fabulous meals. Snack bar counter/ area for hanging out or preparing a meal. Great selection of kitchen cookware include Le Creuset, Cuisinart, Oster and multiple sizes of pots, pans and bowls as well as well curated serving pieces- all in a compact easy work space.

If you like to cook, make sure you visit the area farm stands and especially the Ligonier Country Market on Saturdays 8-12:00 May-September. Amazing, awesome market with juried vendors.The market features organic meats, produce, plants, wineries, baked goods, fresh and prepared foods, handmade craft, delicious food-pierogi! grilled pizzas! fresh squeezed juices! Don't miss it, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

2 nice sized bedrooms, recently painted and finished with excellent beds and bedding. 1 super comfy king in primary bed room, 2 twins in second bedroom (trundle style)

Cabin decor is an eclectic mix of furniture- antiques, thrift shop finds and interesting artwork and artifacts. "rustic!"

Sunroom is a combination living room and dining area that is the favorite place to hang. 9 windows give you a leafy view to the woods and meadows. Cozy gas fireplace stove is instantly on and gives a cozy glow. Wood burning fireplace in kitchen area is a warm and cozy spot to sit.

Industrial style staircase leads from the upper level to the lower level entrance, complete with flowering garden on each side. Where this cool welded hunk of metal staircase came from, we don't know, but we love it and it is a favorite spot to sit. Enjoy the porch-deck on the side of the house. Nice place to sit and watch the sun set.

Th cabin is 10 minutes from Idlewild and Soak Zone, famous children's amusement park, built in 1800's and considered one of the top children's parks in the world.

The town of Ligonier is 3 miles away with its many restaurants and great shops.

Other things to note
Please note that the cabin front is very close to low traffic Wilpen road. It is very quiet at night. We have had many guests with small children stay as well as pets and this hasn't been an issue but wanted to point it out clearly that the cabin is near Wilpen Road..

Please also note that the cabin is built into a hillside so there are steps to navigate. If you or anyone in your party has climbing or navigating stairs as an issue, please check pictures before you book. Two Bedrooms, upstairs foyer, bathroom/shower are on upper level with stairs to the lower level kitchen, sunroom, bathroom and side decks..

Pets are welcome! Please note - you will be charged a $50.00 fee when you book. We ask that you keep pets contained in a crate (condo:) if left unattended. Also, we provide extra sheets for furniture and bed covering if your pet is on these pieces. Please clean up and keep pet hair to minimum. You will be charged for additional cleaning if necessary. Thank you for your understanding.

Note: This is a neighborhood like setting, while there’s plenty of privacy via fencing and foliage, there are other houses close by.

4x4 vehicles are encouraged(though normally not necessary) during the winter months

Our guest house is located right in the charming center of town. We are a 15 minute drive from Laurel Mountain Ski Resort, 25 minutes from Hidden Valley, and 35 minutes to Seven Springs.

The space
Ligonier is a step away from the rush of daily life. It's a place to unwind and connect with your family or friends.
You will first notice one of my favorite parts of the house, the front porch. The perfect place to greet the day with a cup of tea or coffee. At every moment of our family getaways, somebody is swinging!
The house is cozy, warm, and feels like home.
Natural light filters throughout the house and illuminates the original refinished woodwork. The house was built in 1911 and has been a labor of love with a fully updated bathroom and chef's kitchen; stocked with everything you need for a gourmet meal.A
When Dave and I are not working on projects, you will find us in antique stores and salvage yards looking for the unique pieces for our guesthouse.
Enjoy the spacious backyard with outdoor games or just sit in the Adirondack chairs with a glass of wine. The rabbits will entertain you!

Just outside the door is the Diamond where shopkeepers await your visit and there is an array of places for great food and drinks. Stop into the library for a quick browse, it's beautiful! You can heat to town out the back door also, zip through the alley, and find yourself at the Wicked Googly, THE place to bowl and mingle with the locals.

Guests will enjoy the first and second floors of the house. First floor: living room, dining room, entry and a fully equipped kitchen. Second floor: three bedrooms and a bathroom. In addition, parking at the back, the back and front yards, with patio and porch. Grill available.
For our guests who have membership to the YMCA, there is access to our wonderful newly renovated facility with a fully equipped gym (a one minute walk from the house). For guests who are not Y members access to the facility is $10 per day per guest. Did I mention our Y has a terrific sauna?!

Four and a half miles from the historic town of Ligonier, this home offers all you would need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. A labor of love, we built this home with hopes of someday retiring here to enjoy all the area has to offer. In the heart of the Laurel Highlands this home is close to golf courses, ski resorts, museums, theaters, restaurants, numerous State Parks with great hiking and biking, Idlewild and Soakzone, and Ligonier Camp and Conference Center.

The space
The kitchen overlooks the dining and living room to a 21 foot tall stone wood burning fireplace. Off the living room, but close to the action, is a sectional couch and wall mountred 55" tv. The first floor bedroom offers a king bed, master bathroom and walk-in closet. Off the kitchen is easy access to an open laundry room, powder room and closet with vacuum cleaner. The second floor bedroom overlooks the creek and has a queen bed. This bedroom also has barn style doors that can be opened to look down on fireplace, living and dining area or closed for privacy. The bunk room, which is National Park themed, is designed to bring out your inner explorer. Four could sleep comfortably with a twin over full bunk and loft bed with 2 twin beds. Down the open hall past large old barn beams is a shared full bathroom. The loft area has a view of the fireplace and looks down on the living and dining area as well as views of the creek. This home has many books, games, movies and puzzles to engage and entertain all ages. The sofa sleepers are located in the upstairs loft and first floor living area. Porta-crib available.

Guest access
With a rental the entire home is yours. A beautiful kitchen, comfortable and cozy sitting areas, nicely appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. The house has a grill, outdoor fire pit and sitting area that overlook the creek.

Other things to note
The front and back doors may seem a little tricky. They can both be locked by lifting up on the door handle from the inside. This locks the door high and low, the deadbolt can still be used.

Most light switches are marked on the switch plate.

First floor TV includes Xfinity cable as well as being a smart TV. The Xfinity remote can be voice controlled by pressing and holding the microphone button.

Loft tv is a smart TV that is best used for streaming. Amazon Prime video is logged in for viewing.
