The only “issue” we had was the well pump shut off a couple of times. The owners were quick to respond and showed us what to do if it happened again, which we did need because there was a brief loss of power that caused it to shut off again. No big deal, it was easy to reset. The kitchen is well stocked, making cooking an easy process. We didn’t spend much time outside, but enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location. Would definitely stay here again."

Security:

For the safety or our guests and the protection of the property against criminal activity, all guests understand that, at a minimum, there is a “Blink” security camera type located at the front and rear entrance of the cabin to monitor access/egress and driveway areas. Security cameras are in use 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

Guests should not remove, disturb, modify or damage any part of the onsite security system. IF this occurs it will result in the loss of security deposit or added charges, which ever applies.

Many bedrooms, bathrooms, gathering areas (inside and outside), fire pit, hot tub, stocked kitchen (pots, pans, utensils, coffee makers (several kinds... and plenty of coffee!). Washer/dryer, board games, puzzles - I could go on and on about the rich features of this property. 8 adults and 4 children had tons and tons of room in this home. If the owner allows - I think it could easily sleep 20 - 25 guests comfortably. The property is extremely CLEAN (very important to our family) and the bedding is as comfortable as home. There is absolutely NOTHING that I thought was missing from the home or from our stay. The location adjacent to the grounds of Nemacolin Woodlands resort is outstanding. Plenty of great walks and activities right outside the front door. 15 minutes to OhioPyle - and you can hike, bike, kayak, raft or any other of the great activites nearby. The best way to get around this area is by car. We recommend that you have winter tires during the winter months. We try our best to plow and shovel before a guest arrives but it is not guaranteed. This driveway has a slight slope to it. Be prepared during winter months. There is no public transportation in this area.

One bath towel per guest is provided. We do not provide towels for the hot tub. It might be a good idea to bring a few of your own to ensure your comfort. Washer and Dryer are free to use.

We do not provide firewood, please bring your own.

Fireplace is not permitted for use as insurance does not permit it in guest rentals.

There is a propane grill on the deck. If you plan to do a lot of grilling it might be a good idea to check the propane before preparing the meal. If the propane should happen to run out, please let me know as soon as possible. You can also purchase propane tanks just a few miles away the is a Dollar General and a Gas station that sell propane tanks.

Hot tub malfunctions do occur; technicians are contacted as soon as possible.

By using the hot tub or pool, you release M and Rentals LLC from all claims and liability.

Children must be supervised near the hot tub.

Hot Tub Rules:

Cover the hot tub carefully when not in use. Damages to the tub or cover will incur a $200 charge.

No glass bottles, cigarettes, or food near or in the hot tub.

If the water becomes dirty or unpleasant, notify us immediately.

We do not guarantee the hot tub will be working perfectly during your stay and no refunds are given if it is out of order.

I am an on-site host. My house is across the driveway from the cabin.

This recently renovated log cabin has everything, including a fantastic location! Close to Nemacolin Resort and Spa, Casino and golf course, Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water and Kentuck Knob, and all the great outdoor activities that the Laurel Highlands has to offer, including hiking, rafting, kayaking, mountain biking, zip-lining, and tourism.

This 1000 sq. ft hand-built log cabin has one bedroom (queen bed) and one bathroom, with a queen pull-out couch in the living room, as well as a sleeping loft with a full-size mattress. A large, well-equipped kitchen, coupled with comfortable furnishings and eclectic decor, provides guests with a cozy, comfortable environment, and a
relaxing getaway.

We supply shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for guests , and we try to keep some extra toothbrushes on hand just in case.
**Please be sure to have your log-in information available if you want to use the TV to stream TV shows and movies. There's no cable service, just the smart TV. There's good WiFi in the cabin.
The cabin is on public water- not well water. There's a Brita filter pitcher in the fridge.
For visitors in winter, the cabin is located in between a PennDot shelter and Route 40, so plows have to pass the cabin to go anywhere, i.e. the road is usually plowed early and often.
For summer visitors, the cabin is surrounded by mature trees. It is generally cooler in the cabin than it is outdoors, and there are fans in every room.

The outdoor space is great- there's a covered porch to hang out in, and also a fire circle. We have camp chairs that you can use by the fire circle.

The entire cabin and fenced back yard are yours. The driveway is shared with your host.
Please pull all the way up to the shed to park and PLEASE don't block the driveway!!

Please be aware that while the cabin was recently renovated, it's got some old bones, so things are not square, there are some rough finishes here and there, and logs don't look as neat and clean as drywall. What you will get is a comfortable, cozy and clean space to stay. Please ask me questions- if you have any- prior to booking.

This is a rural environment. You may encounter the occasional spider or ant in the house, even though it is cleaned thoroughly. You may even encounter a mouse (I hope not), but this is the country and they do try to come in ;-)

While this house is somewhat set back from the road, and brand new windows provide some sound insulation, you will hear the sound of trucks and cars driving down the road. You may also hear: dogs barking, roosters crowing, my neighbor shooting guns, lawn equipment and chain saws at almost any hour of the day. This is the country, and that's what people do here. There's a sump pump in the basement that will run when it rains or has been raining. You'll hear it kick on and off, but it's not too loud.

- "My new wife and I spent a week at Kaya's cabin for our honeymoon, and it was fantastic! The cabin was cute and cozy, and it is only a short drive to Ohiopyle (our main attraction). Kaya was excitable, personable, and professional. We made pizza the first night and asked about a pizza cutter. Kaya said she didn't have one, and then the next day, told us she had ordered one. When asking about check-out protocol (primarily discussing clean up), she told us not to worry ourselves with any of it, and that it was her duty. We will definitely strongly consider staying with Kaya again in the future!"

Stay in a Victorian room at the Historic Stone House Inn, a National Road inn since 1822. Central heating is managed by the restaurant downstairs. Enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast. 3 room suite located on the 2nd floor is split over 2 levels with two queen bedrooms upstairs. A sitting room with a pull out sofa, and a private bath occupy the first level of the unit. Accommodations may not suit guests with limited mobility. Restaurant hours vary from the Inn.

A Beautiful luxury home at the famous Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Spa. It is only minutes away from Frank Lloyd Wright's famous house 'Falling Water', George Washington's Fort Necessity, and Ohiopyle's Waterfalls and Rapids. This home is extremely family friendly and is on one and a quarter acre of land right on resort property and can be yours from 1 day to 1 month. This beautiful home was built for my family and friends, and will be well suited for your family and friends. The home is located on one of the highest points in The Nemacolin Resort and is in walking distance to enjoy most of the beautiful resort property.
The Resort roads are open, to the private home owners on the resort property. You just need to mention to the gate tenders you are staying at the DeMarco House and they will let you pass.

There is a game room with a slate pool table, ping pong, darts, Pac Man, puzzles, and many of your favorite board games for your enjoyment.

Some Resort activities and Resort access may not be available as we do not control the Resort and their requirements even though the House is on the Resort property. A resort room rental can be rented for full Resort access or partial resort access, with the house rental. Full resort access is required for golfing, the spa, and the restaurants, etc.
The partial resort access includes the Casino, the Zoo, The Playgrounds, the Mini Golf, Arcades, Fishing, a Merry Go Round, A Car Museum, an Art Museum, and with access to most resort roads, walking paths, etc. are available.

For the house with the above mentioned partial resort access, the listing rental rate is $1,500 a night. If you do want full access to the all of the resort amenities, including pools, restaurants, golfing, etc then you can book a hotel room yourself with the resort, or we can do it for you, with sometimes a discounted room rate, and that rate would be $2,500 a night with a stay at our house and with full access to the resort and a resort room. A 10% Holiday fee will be added.
There are 2 King Master Bedroom ensuites and two additional King Bedrooms. And since it is our summer home, it has all of the luxury room essentials.

NOTE: Some of our Guests that wanted complete RESORT access in addition to wanting to visit the famous Falling Water House by Frank Lloyd Wright, or wanting to shoot the rapids at Ohiopyle, or visiting the Resort Casino, have rented a resort room for a night or two along with staying at the house. It has worked out very well for our Guests that wanted to see the beautiful Laural Highlands attractions for a few days and using the Beautiful Nemacolin Resort for a few days.

Guests can enjoy the private condo as well as the private condo association pool. The entrance is located on the other side of the parking lot and is a paved road to walk or drive back to. There are pool towels in the bathroom for guests to use. The pool is typically open May-September (weather permitting).

There are 2 parking spots per unit. If you are bringing more vehicles please contact the host ahead of time. This is a very quiet community perfect for a morning walk or enjoy a cup of coffee on the back deck and listen to the water in the stream. If you would need to dispose of trash before check out, there are small green garbage huts in the parking lots.

This property is located on the grounds of Nemacolin Woodlands but we are NOT associated with the resort. Please note, the resort is closed to the public. Our retreat was once the owners' residence within the historic Benner's Meadow Run campgrounds. Benner's is a family-friendly campground that includes a swimming pool, minigolf, arcade, general store, ice cream, 2 fishing ponds, playground, dog park, golf cart rental, activities, events, and much more!

The interior of the lodge is a captivating retreat that seamlessly marries the rustic charm of a wood-paneled lodge with the timeless allure of vintage fly fishing memorabilia. Charles Pond is a short walk out the front door where you can fish, picnic, or stroll with your pets.

The exterior showcases a blend of natural stone and rich timber, seamlessly integrating with the lush surroundings. A private hot tub sits in the back of the house, completely out of view and surrounded by chirping birds, wandering deer, and Pennsylvania's famous forest... Tell stories around the group fire pit and kick back in our Adirondack chairs while the kids roast marshmallows.

Step inside, and you're greeted by an interior that exudes warmth and coziness. The open-concept living area features exposed wooden beams, plush leather couches, and warm antique accents all originating in western PA. Freshwater fish mounts line the walls, an inspiration to young fisherman and old timers alike. A collection of fly fishing rods and antique reels are tastefully displayed on the walls, celebrating Pennsylvania's famous fishing heritage.

The kitchen is fully stocked with a large farmhouse dining table to gather for family meals. Each of the three bedrooms has been thoughtfully designed to allow privacy and comfort for your group. The master bedroom boasts an en-suite bathroom, complete with watercolor prints of native trout.

This home is located in a residential neighborhood. The home is private but do not consider it secluded. It is in civilization 😆. It is .87 acres away from the National Road. The property is located in an area rich in American history. The water source is fed by a national landmark (the Monroe Spring), which is located on the property. Little known, but made a landmark because of President Monroe’s visit to the spring. Fort Necessity National Battle field is just seconds down the road to the east. And General Braddock’s grave just seconds to the west. It is also within minutes of the best restaurants the mountain has to offer. And short drive (about 8 miles) to hiking, biking and whitewater rafting in Ohiopyle. We also offer covered parking (especially nice for winter bookings). One bath towel per guest is provided. We do not provide towels for the hot tub. It might be a good idea to bring a few of your own to ensure your comfort. Washer and Dryer are free to use.

There is a propane grill on the deck. If you plan to do a lot of grilling it might be a good idea to check the propane before preparing the meal. If the propane should happen to run out, please let me know as soon as possible. You can also purchase propane tanks just a few miles away the is a Dollar General and a Gas station that sell propane tanks.
