- "My number one requirement was about location and having four bedrooms. Which this place met those requirements. Overall the inside of the house was clean and had some nice remodeling pieces like the kitchen. As a VRBO owner myself, I will say this. The manager/ owner could work on his communication style. Upon asking to place our suitcases in the garage until check in I got a phone call with a frustrated undertone for requesting that, being told, “just like a hotel you can’t check in until your room is ready” although at a hotel we could leave our luggage with the front desk until our room was ready. Secondly, we did move the couch, because if more than one person was sitting on it the view of the Tv was blocked. Nothing was ruined in the moving of the furniture. The couch was very light and easy to move. I did have the earliest flight and left the house before everyone else and was not able to double check everything was exactly how it should be before I left and unfortunately the couch did not get put back exactly how we found it. So that was my bad and I did apologize after I received a nasty text from the manager that said “You moved my furniture”. Overall this place meets the basic requirements but I would not stay here again for the following reasons: 1: The garage and outside around the garage is full of broken down and random household items/ trash. 2: The neighborhood was in a sketchy. 3 The owner/ manager was rude."

We have been Superhosts for over 8 years. We have had an awful experience with VRBO and refuse to host on their platform.

My VRBO experience: Started with me being falsely promised a free, automated way to sync my Air-B-n-B properties calendars with my VRBO calendar to avoid double bookings. Turns out that this was a false promise that a VRBO sales person gave to gain my listings on their platform (they get paid according to how many listings they add). I sent over 15 emails to that sales rep, and several more to VRBO customer service asking them for the calendar syncing tool. After realizing I wasn't going to hear from that rep, I contacted VRBO's general customer service several times for help and they weren't able to help. I then asked them multiple times to cancel my listings. They didn't do that. I then received instant bookings. I called them for help cancelling the bookings (I had confirmed bookings of their competitors site for the same dates) and remove my listings, they told me they weren't able to do that.

My frustrations with them are endless.
