Room was decent and clean but kind a dark as it didnt had any lamp shade. It has a big closet and 55 inch tv. Area seem safe and secure. It was about 2min drive to the Redondo Beach/Pier. And 5 minutes drive to Del Amo Fashion Center mall. Over all our stay was great. We recommend this Inn if your going to be in Redondo area. "

- "Great location to the beach and pier. This was our second visit. The unit was clean and comfortable. Very well appointed and kitchen had everything you need. The patio had comfy furniture and everything you need for the beach with great views. What we didn't like was opened food/jars/bottles left in the refrigerator that we went through and cleaned out, it felt unsanitary to use, before stocking our own groceries. We did fight with the resident ants a bit but the owner did what he could while we were there to help get rid of them, I am sure he took care of them after we left. The shelves and cabinets in the bathroom were full of products left from other visitors so we had very little space to unpack our own bathroom items. Small inconveniences and we made it work. Cute little place, and we will likely return."

The Cottage in the Garden is located behind our South Redondo home in a residential neighborhood. There is a private spa located at the rear of the property. We are a 15 to 20 minute walk to the beach, or a quick ride on one of our complimentary bikes.

On entering the Cottage one has the impression they are in a mountain cabin. There are vintage skis and a sled mounted on knotty pine walls. While there is no kitchen, there is a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, and dishes. Enjoy breakfast in the Cottage, or sitting on the deck. One can hear birds singing, the bubbling fountain, and the gentle ringing of chimes.

After breakfast don your shorts, grab towels, beach chairs, a picnic lunch, and head to the beach. Walk barefoot in the sand. Ride bikes from Torrance to Santa Monica. Head to the Redondo Beach Pier, a short distance away. The Pier offers water activities, souvenir shops, restaurants and photo opportunities.

Later return to the Cottage to get refreshed. Watch the birds splash in the bird bath, the hummingbirds feed on the fuschias, and enjoy the late afternoon breeze. Or, read a good book from our bookcase while sitting in the recliner, or the glider.

It is then time to think about dinner, but first, return to the beach to watch a spectacular sunset. Afterward head to the Riviera Village for dinner. After dinner it is back to the Cottage to star gaze while sitting in the relaxing spa. Finish your day in our comfy down bed.

- "This rental is by far the cleanest property I have ever rented and I am a frequent Vrbo customer. The unit has everything and anything you may find that you need. The owners asked my trip reason and when I told them I was here celebrating my sons college graduation, they had the unit niceley decorated to celebrate and even left cupcakes. Stay right in the upper Hollywood Riviera Village neighborhood. We have a studio with a loft and a private roomy bathroom. There is a Queen bed in the loft (up a steep ladder) and a Queen futon couch with a memory foam pad on the main floor. We are located in a quiet family neighborhood and while the studio is connected to the owners main house, there are no main shared living walls except the bathroom.
There is a keurig coffee maker complete with pods and coffee condiments and a small fridge. We are however a no smoking, no cooking establishment due to there only being the bathroom sinks that are not equipped to handle food waste.

The owners live on premises. The guest entrance is through the backyard. The backyard is a quiet oasis to start your morning or end your day! If the dates you need show blocked please inquire as we sometimes have them blocked only because of check-in time arrangements.
We are close to Palos Verdes Walking trails, Many of South Bays best beaches and Marinas and some of the finest dining in Southern California.

The TV in the living room has Roku connected to it. The TVs in each of the two bedrooms have both Apple TV and Roku connected to them. You can watch whatever you want including Netflix, Youtube, Amazon, etc. through Apple TV or Roku. Live TV programs steaming are available from the Spectrum App on Roku.

Laundry is downstairs on the garage level. You are welcome to use quarters or use the App to operate the wash machines and dryers. The name of the App is “Pay Range”. You can download it from the App Store. The App works with the wash machines and dryers via Bluetooth. The cell signal in the Laundry room is not strong, but there is wifi available. You can connect to the laundry room wifi and the password is: “thevillage”.

Air Conditioning means wall heating units. This place is so close to the beach that there is no need for cooling systems. Just open the balcony doors and the bedroom windows at the same time, you will have plenty of breeze. In fact, none of the beach housing has cooling system installed in the area. We still cover ourselves with blankets at night during summer time because it is cool enough.

The CC&R of this condominium complex requires short-term stay to be at least 60 days. I wish I can offer my place for your guys for shorter period of time though.

There is bus stops right outside the entrance of this gated community, but in my opinion the bus don't come by very frequently. It will be way better to have your own car if you don't want to waste your time waiting around for the bus.

Pool hours are from 8am to 10pm. A maximum of 4 people is allowed at the pool from each unit. Please do NOT invite a huge party to the pool. The neighbors are very sensitive about it. Please clean the BBQ after use each time. The brush is provided there.
No partying at the unit either. Please be respectful of others in the complex, this is a very nice and peaceful community and people like to keep it this way.:):):)
