- "Beautiful property with ocean views. All the amenities of the resort were available except daily maid service but you can add with a fee. The room was comfortable, enjoyed the patio overlooking the ocean and the fireplace in the evening. Our villa is one of the premier villas in the resort, and is your best choice. Here's why:

1. Our villa is the only 3 bedroom floor plan in the entire resort in which all 3 bedrooms are within the villa. Other 3 bedroom floor plans and all the Casitas have the third bedroom separate from the other bedrooms requiring you to go outside and use you card key to access the rest of the unit.
2. 3 full bedrooms. A number of the other villas are smaller 2 bedroom units.
3. Located in the front row of the villas. Nothing to block your view of the golf course, the ocean, and amazing sunset views.
4. Located right on the 6th green of the golf course.
5. Great views of the ocean and Catalina Island.

This Villa is a spacious 2400 ft.² and has been professionally designed to encourage flow and harmony between indoor and outdoor living. The living room and all bedrooms open out to either the lanai or courtyard. The entry courtyard features comfortable seating and an outdoor fireplace for cozy evening gatherings between friends and family outdoors. The lanai features a patio table with shade umbrella, comfortable chairs, and a private Jacuzzi to relax in while gazing at the waters of the Pacific Ocean and the Terranea golf course.

The Villa's expansive master suite highlights include a King size bed, a separate dressing room, and a full master bathroom with dual vanities. The master bedroom provides an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean and the 6th green of the Terranea golf course. The 2nd bedroom suite has 2 queen beds and an adjoining full bathroom. The 3rd bedroom features a King size bed and en suite bathroom. This luxurious villa sleeps up to 6 adults comfortably.

The Villa also boasts a beautiful chef’s kitchen island and top of the line appliances. The living room is bathed in natural light with access to the front courtyard as well as the lanai. An indoor laundry room is equipped with a full-size washer and dryer. Central air conditioning and heating ensures a comfortable environment at all times. We are often asked about the difference between the Villas and the Casitas at the Terranea Resort:

1. Villas are designed to be a vacation home. Thus the villas have the amenities you would expect in a home, including features such as a granite island in the kitchen, and a powder room in addition to the three full bathrooms. Casitas have neither a kitchen island or powder room.

2. Our villa features it's own private jacuzzi hot tub. None of the Casitas have their own private hot tub.

3. Villas have a full enclosed garage for private parking. None of the Casitas have garages.

4. Villas feature high end appliances, such as Viking ranges and ovens and Viking refrigerators. Casitas have standard General Electric appliances.

5. Our 3 bedroom villa has all three bedrooms within the villa itself. All the Casitas have the third bedroom completely separate from the rest of the unit requiring the guest in the third bedroom to actually go outside and use a card key to enter the main part of the Casita.

6. Our villa has a private outdoor courtyard with fireplace behind a secure door to maximize privacy. Casitas do not have this private courtyard.

The Terranea Resort

Terranea Resort was designed as a world-class luxury resort and is set on 102 acres on the beautiful Rancho Palos Verdes Peninsula right on the edge of the Pacific Ocean. Pool attendants are available to assist with towels and food service. There are also 5 restaurants on-site including the five-star Marcel, and the more contemporary Catalina Kitchen and Nelson's Restaurant. The Spa Cafe provides a refreshing break from sport activities, and the Sea Beans Coffee Shop is available for gourmet coffee and breakfast/lunch.

For your added convenience, personal private chef services is also available. RESERVATION DETAILS:

To reserve our Terranea Ocean Villa, we require a deposit of a portion of the reservation. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Bookings cancelled more than 30 days prior to check-in will receive a full refund. Cancellations between 14-30 days before check-in will receive 50% refund. No refund is provided for cancellations within 14 days of check in, unless the request is made within 24 hours of booking confirmation. No penalty will be applied if the request is received directly using the platform. Guest understands s/he is encouraged to obtain travel insurance to reimburse for any expenses due to unexpected changes in travel plans.

Check-in time is 4 pm and Check-out time is 11 am

There is a 10% Rancho Palos Verdes Tax and a $350 departure cleaning fee.

- "Perfect place for our Holiday Get-together!!" - "My husband and I stayed here over Thanksgiving with our 2 adult sons and their significant others. The home is lovely and the view is amazing. I was not automatically provided the entry information through VRBO until I contacted the owner directly a couple of days prior to arriving. He did get back with me quickly. In fact he was very responsive with every question I had which I appreciated. The kitchen was large and well equipped. Just FYI there is no coffee maker or coffee cups or wine glasses so if you need those you will need to bring your own as we did. Also the bedrooms are sparsely furnished. The master that I stayed in only had a bed and no other furniture. Fortunately, I had a box with me that I could use to keep some water and my phone next to the bed. I believe there was a nightstand in at least one of the other rooms. That was only a minor thing though and did not take away from the enjoyable weekend I had. The home is close to my family in Southern California so I would definitely stay again as it was a very enjoyable holiday. However, the price has increased significantly since I originally booked a few month ago so I am not sure that will be feasible but it was a wonderful home."

The villa also features an open floor plan living room and an additional private den room with queen size sofa bed (this private den is exclusive to the Ocean-King unit), along with a formal dining area, laundry room and a fully-equipped chef's kitchen with bar seating and separate breakfast nook. - "My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our December 2022 month long stay at Ann’s beautiful Palos Verdes home. Our two toy dogs and were pleasantly surprised to find fluffy comfy dog beds available! They loved the beds and the secure grassy yard to frolic in. We did always stay vigilant for coyotes, as our dogs are tiny. The internet was very good, with a brand new Starlink system installed shortly after we arrived. This allowed both of us to conduct our internet remote work without any issues. The house was very clean with lovely artistic/sea themed decor and relaxing spaciousness. The deck overlooking the ocean was so peaceful to hang out on - including the wooden swing - and we loved greeting each new day with morning coffee outdoors. We enjoyed many walks around the local neighborhood. The hot tub was great, perfectly relaxing, and private. Although it was too chilly for pool swimming in December, the pool is just beautiful to look at. The outdoor gardens are great also, with various fruits growing on trees on the property along with what peppers and flowering bulbs. Sleeping was so comfortable with the cotton bedding and very nice pillows. Everything was top notch and in great condition. The kitchen was a joy to prepare meals in and every amenity one could want was supplied for our stay. Thank you, Ann, for your great hospitality in providing for an idyllic stay. Play paddle tennis on private courts or launch your kayak from the beach. Clean off in the outdoor stone shower and relax in the 2-person jacuzzi. Hiking and mountain biking trails abound across the street at the Portuguese Bend Reserve. While downtown Los Angeles and LAX are less than an hour away, once back in this serene slice of unspoiled nature, the urban hubub takes a distant back seat.

- "I've been to many of the most beautiful places in the world. The location of the house right on the Pacific Ocean IS one of the most beautiful places in the world. But rather than traveling to far-flung places and rushing around to see all the sites, my month at this house was the most serene and relaxing vacation I've ever had. Communications with the owner were great. The house was very comfortable and very well-stocked. There was a panoramic view of the ocean (no peekaboo views!). Going to sleep and waking up every day to the sound of the waves was indescribable. There is no real road between the house and the private beach, just a lane to the beach for residents of the enclave. The beach was deserted almost every day except for the weekends. The house is unique and quirky with all the stone work. I loved EVERYTHING about the house, the setting, the experience! I was there by myself a lot of the time but also had family and friends spend a few days to a week with me. I didn't even get in my car the last week. I just nestled into the house, the ocean, the waves in total contentment. Also, there are GREAT walking trails all around the whole area. Thank you, Robin!!!"

- "It's a gorgeous location. I arrived early as the owner asked but it wasn't ready. A worker was fixing electrical issues with a fan etc. The floor was filthy. I asked if she had a mini freezer. She cleaned out one putting raw stinking bloody meat on the floor. I had to show her how to clean & get rid of the smell with arm & hammer. She gave me dirty towels. I found out wet & naked. You must have strong boundaries or she'll just walk in if you are changing or on the toilet. She yells when she speaks. She'll either politely get her way or steamroll you. The window in the bathroom is see-through with the light on. She lied and said only she & her son lived there but she has 4 other units in this 1 house. The young man next to me loudly hawked loogies at 5AM. She wouldn't speak to him about it. If this is changed for the next renter it would be a bargain @ that location."

A romantic hide away and peaceful house in a safe neighborhood with lots of privacy. Close walk to Abalone cove, a rustic beach, where few people go, with surfing, diving, kayaking, body surfing and lots of tide pools.
The house is independent and has its own front yard to sun bathe and enjoy the ocean view.
Inside, a private bedroom has French doors, the floor is polished cement, bathroom has gorgeous porcelain tile with a steam/rain like shower head that adjusts to your height.

Bedroom has queen bed, living room has new couch daybed with roll out trundle bed, both singles. Other couch is comfortable to sleep on as well.
It has everything thing you need, and is close to trader Joe’s or Starbucks down the street, hang out at Terranea Resort or enjoy golfing at Terranea or Donald Trumps resort both with gorgeous paths on the cliff of the ocean. Not to mention all the 4 and 5 star restaurants close by.
Beautiful rustic beaches you can walk down, some sandy, some Rocky. Tide pools at low tide, surfing when waves. Great clear water for snorkeling when ocean is calm.
Or drive to Torrance beach, 20 min away for a pure Sandy beach.
Abundant hiking trails and mountain biking, and walking.
Wool insulation and sound proof dry wall used for walls.
Longer stays welcomed.

Colorfully decorated, access to entire house. This house is about 60 feet from the main house. There is a narrow path with about 130-140 pavers from your parking spot to the front door. It is slightly uphill, but it’s a beautiful scenic view on your way up..like 1 minute walk. Please check out photos. You need to be physically able to go up and down the path to the ocean view house.
Other things to note
German shepherds live in the back yard but sleep inside the house at night. There may be barking or howling occasionally as the dogs like to protect the property and the sirens hurt their ears so they howl. Overall, the neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet.

Potential for noise…, coyotes howling at night, Gardner’s on various days. Trash pick up day is on Thursday.

Blue can is for plastic, glass and cardboard.
Green can for grass and yard debris, plus paper bags with raw food in it.
Grey is for all trash..anything goes as long as the lid closes!
