The room was comfortable, enjoyed the patio overlooking the ocean and the fireplace in the evening. Our villa is one of the premier villas in the resort, and is your best choice. Here's why:

1. Our villa is the only 3 bedroom floor plan in the entire resort in which all 3 bedrooms are within the villa. Other 3 bedroom floor plans and all the Casitas have the third bedroom separate from the other bedrooms requiring you to go outside and use you card key to access the rest of the unit.
2. 3 full bedrooms. A number of the other villas are smaller 2 bedroom units.
3. Located in the front row of the villas. Nothing to block your view of the golf course, the ocean, and amazing sunset views.
4. Located right on the 6th green of the golf course.

This Villa is a spacious 2400 ft.² and has been professionally designed to encourage flow and harmony between indoor and outdoor living. The lanai features a patio table with shade umbrella, comfortable chairs, and a private Jacuzzi to relax in while gazing at the waters of the Pacific Ocean and the Terranea golf course.

The Villa's expansive master suite highlights include a King size bed, a separate dressing room, and a full master bathroom with dual vanities. The master bedroom provides an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean and the 6th green of the Terranea golf course. The 2nd bedroom suite has 2 queen beds and an adjoining full bathroom. The 3rd bedroom features a King size bed and en suite bathroom. This luxurious villa sleeps up to 6 adults comfortably.

The Villa also boasts a beautiful chef’s kitchen island and top of the line appliances. The living room is bathed in natural light with access to the front courtyard as well as the lanai. An indoor laundry room is equipped with a full-size washer and dryer. Central air conditioning and heating ensures a comfortable environment at all times. We are often asked about the difference between the Villas and the Casitas at the Terranea Resort:

1. Villas are designed to be a vacation home. Thus the villas have the amenities you would expect in a home, including features such as a granite island in the kitchen, and a powder room in addition to the three full bathrooms. Casitas have neither a kitchen island or powder room.

2. Our villa features it's own private jacuzzi hot tub. None of the Casitas have their own private hot tub.

3. Villas have a full enclosed garage for private parking. None of the Casitas have garages.

4. Villas feature high end appliances, such as Viking ranges and ovens and Viking refrigerators. Casitas have standard General Electric appliances.

5. Our 3 bedroom villa has all three bedrooms within the villa itself. All the Casitas have the third bedroom completely separate from the rest of the unit requiring the guest in the third bedroom to actually go outside and use a card key to enter the main part of the Casita.

6. Our villa has a private outdoor courtyard with fireplace behind a secure door to maximize privacy. Casitas do not have this private courtyard.

The Terranea Resort

Terranea Resort was designed as a world-class luxury resort and is set on 102 acres on the beautiful Rancho Palos Verdes Peninsula right on the edge of the Pacific Ocean. Pool attendants are available to assist with towels and food service. There are also 5 restaurants on-site including the five-star Marcel, and the more contemporary Catalina Kitchen and Nelson's Restaurant. RESERVATION DETAILS:

To reserve our Terranea Ocean Villa, we require a deposit of a portion of the reservation. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Bookings cancelled more than 30 days prior to check-in will receive a full refund. Cancellations between 14-30 days before check-in will receive 50% refund. No refund is provided for cancellations within 14 days of check in, unless the request is made within 24 hours of booking confirmation. No penalty will be applied if the request is received directly using the platform. Guest understands s/he is encouraged to obtain travel insurance to reimburse for any expenses due to unexpected changes in travel plans.

Check-in time is 4 pm and Check-out time is 11 am

There is a 10% Rancho Palos Verdes Tax and a $350 departure cleaning fee.

- "Perfect place for our Holiday Get-together!!" - "My husband and I stayed here over Thanksgiving with our 2 adult sons and their significant others. The home is lovely and the view is amazing. I was not automatically provided the entry information through VRBO until I contacted the owner directly a couple of days prior to arriving. He did get back with me quickly. In fact he was very responsive with every question I had which I appreciated. The kitchen was large and well equipped. Just FYI there is no coffee maker or coffee cups or wine glasses so if you need those you will need to bring your own as we did. Also the bedrooms are sparsely furnished. The master that I stayed in only had a bed and no other furniture. Fortunately, I had a box with me that I could use to keep some water and my phone next to the bed. I believe there was a nightstand in at least one of the other rooms. That was only a minor thing though and did not take away from the enjoyable weekend I had. The home is close to my family in Southern California so I would definitely stay again as it was a very enjoyable holiday. However, the price has increased significantly since I originally booked a few month ago so I am not sure that will be feasible but it was a wonderful home."

This privately-owned luxury villa is located on the 100+ acre oceanfront full-service Terranea Resort, and includes guest access to all of the services and world-class amenities the resort has to offer. Amenities include 24-hour resort front desk and room service, adult and family pools, spa & fitness center, beach access, gorgeous coastal trails, multiple restaurants and dining options, golf course, kids club, shopping, and more.

The villa features 2,800+ private square feet of bright indoor space with high-end furnishings and amenities. There are 3 spacious guest suites, each with ensuite bathrooms - two are located on the ground level, the third suite is upstairs above the courtyard with a private entrance. The villa also features an open floor plan living room and an additional private den room with queen size sofa bed (this private den is exclusive to the Ocean-King unit), along with a formal dining area, laundry room and a fully-equipped chef's kitchen with bar seating and separate breakfast nook. Complete with private outdoor space, the villa includes a central courtyard with couches and outdoor automatic fireplace, patios overlooking the ocean and golf course, a private hot tub, and multiple additional outdoor seating / sunbathing / dining areas. The villa also features a private 2 car garage and driveway.

The villa comfortably sleeps 6-8 guests across 3 bedrooms, all with ensuite baths fully stocked with Terranea towels and amenities. The oversized master bath includes a large soaking tub, vanity, and separate “his and her” sink areas. All 3 bedrooms are equipped with king beds, fresh white linens, comfortable mattresses and luggage storage. There is a queen pull-out sofa bed located in the den.

The villa is cleaned, maintained and serviced by the Terranea Resort, complying with the highest level of care and cleanliness standards.

- "My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our December 2022 month long stay at Ann’s beautiful Palos Verdes home. Our two toy dogs and were pleasantly surprised to find fluffy comfy dog beds available! They loved the beds and the secure grassy yard to frolic in. We did always stay vigilant for coyotes, as our dogs are tiny. The internet was very good, with a brand new Starlink system installed shortly after we arrived. This allowed both of us to conduct our internet remote work without any issues. The house was very clean with lovely artistic/sea themed decor and relaxing spaciousness. The deck overlooking the ocean was so peaceful to hang out on - including the wooden swing - and we loved greeting each new day with morning coffee outdoors. We enjoyed many walks around the local neighborhood. The hot tub was great, perfectly relaxing, and private. Although it was too chilly for pool swimming in December, the pool is just beautiful to look at. The outdoor gardens are great also, with various fruits growing on trees on the property along with what peppers and flowering bulbs. Sleeping was so comfortable with the cotton bedding and very nice pillows. Everything was top notch and in great condition. The kitchen was a joy to prepare meals in and every amenity one could want was supplied for our stay. Thank you, Ann, for your great hospitality in providing for an idyllic stay.
