The pool heating fee is $75.00 per night to heat the pool to 80º F. There is a 4 night minimum.

Welcome to our southwest Spanish style Hacienda! Almost 6,000 square feet, 8 bedrooms and 6 full bathrooms.

This backyard is amazing, your own private resort! The pool has two water slides, a grotto with a waterfall, a tanning ledge and a separate hot tub. Plenty of patio seating for your large crowd. Many pool lounge chairs, 4 plus patio seating areas- in the shade and in the sun. Many large patio heaters for the cooler desert evenings. Heating the pool is $200 for up to 7 days. (please note, our pool is over 17,000 gallons and we bought the largest heat pump our pool company could find. In the winter months the heater will struggle to maintain temperaures above 80 degrees when the overnight temps are low and the sunlight is so short of hours and also low temperatures. The heat pump will automaically shut off as an equipment saftey feature when air temps go down to 45 or below. When your use the waterslides and the water is cycling thru the cold air, it will also cause the pool tempature to lower. Please message us for any other questions before booking and please understand the water will not feel like a hot tub.) The pool has its own full bathroom and is completely fenced off from part of the yard with a gate for safety of the little ones.

We have a basketball hoop, 11 hole mini golf course, and a pickle ball court. Yard sized chess game! We also have corn hole, ladder ball, lawn darts, and spike ball. We added two sun sail shades over the playset and miniature golf areas in 2023.

We have a RuffHouse Playset, large enough for older children also. Made local here in Mesa, Az!

The outdoor kitchen is so large! It has a brand new griddle and grill fall of 2023, 2 beverage refrigerators, an ice maker with a hand painted mural that continues your view of superstition mountain right into your back yard. It’s covered- so plenty of shade and a sectional, a table that seats 8.

We have a game room with a pool table, dart board, connect four, shuffle board table, and a poker table. You won’t have time to leave the property to do other activities!

Our beds all have quality linens and sheets. We have 5 pack n plays, two high chairs, 2 toddler cots & 2 floor beds. Kid friendly plates, cups and bowls. Plenty of books to read to the little ones and chapter books for the older ones. We have family friendly board games and puzzles. These are located in the bedroom with buit in bookshelves.

The master bedroom and bathroom are huge and has a loft with amazing views of Superstition & Dinosaur Mountain and a desk for a working vacation.

We have two additional bedrooms that also have desks and office chairs so online schooling or a working staycation are easy at our house. A printer is available for printing.

We have remodeled the kitchen June of 2024! Brand new kitchen aide double wall oven, TWO dish washers, French door refrigerator and a built in drawer microwave. A 6 burner built in down draft cooktop. We added a breakfast bar with 4 barstools. The kitchen is stocked!! Paper towels, Saran Wrap, tinfoil and some condiments, spices just to mention a few. We have a 4 slice toaster, kitchen aide hand mixer, vitamix blender, nesspresso ventura coffee machine, a keurig and a drip coffee maker. Full set of pots and pans with extra skillets. Crock pot, instapot and Dutch oven. Lots of kids cups, plates and bowls. Our dinning room table can seat 10 very comfortably, and of course the two high chairs.

We have parking for two RV’s with 50 amp RV hook ups and septic dumps.

This property can handle multi generation family get togethers or multiple friends and families that want to vacation together. The sunsets and the stargazing will surely be a part of your memories on this vacation as Gold Canyon is a small quiet town with very little light pollution. This is our personal vacation home and we want to make your stay wonderful for special family memories.

We are close to beautiful hikes on Superstition, Dinosaur and Silly Mountains, a Goldfield ghost town and gold mine is near by and the annual Renaissance Festival. Canyon Lake and Saguaro Lake are close by. You can rent paddle board & Kayaks and get out on the water. Salt river tubing is another fun way to spend the day. Rent a tube from them, float down the river and take the shuttle back up. Apache Junction & Mesa are close by with Costco, Marshall’s, Target, malls and so much more. There so many restaurants to choose from right here in Gold Canyon and such a short drive to Apache Junction and Mesa. Mesa Flea Market is open on the weekends and so fun!

We are 35 mins to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport- 20 mins to Mesa Airport, 40 mins to Scottsdale, all the conveniences nearby but Gold Canyon has the relaxation of small town living.

Gold Canyon has several top golf courses and this home can easily fit several families for a golfing vacation!

Please note there are several cameras located on the exterior of the property for security reasons. Camera 1 faces the large gate at the front of the property. Camera 2 faces the side yard. Camera 3 faces the backyard, Camera 4 faces the game room and small gate.

We do not allow any jumping or diving off the top of the water slides or the grotto/waterfall for safety reasons and shallow depth of the pool.

We have a very large rooftop balcony with a spiral staircase. The surface of the roof cannot hold patio furniture, it has the potential to poke holes in it. The wall going around is too short for safety. We have choose to padlock the gate so that little ones and furniture are not climbing up. Please be aware of our safety rules and if you choose climb over our gate and padlock it is at your own risk.
There is another rooftop balcony upstairs by the two bedrooms that has a bench so you can enjoy star gazing and the view.

Please note. We have many propane tanks at the property for the outdoor kitchen and the patio heaters. As we live out of state we are unable to keep the tanks filled used by guests. You will probably need to fill them when you arrive at the house, there is a swap at walgreens less than a mile from the house and Basha's Grocery store a little further away. Our house keeper can also swap them for you at the price $250 for 6 tanks. Please let us know when you are booking so we can have the tanks filled prior to your arrival. Thank you.

This home was remodeled in August of 2022 with an expanded family room, full bathroom with large walk-in shower, and new sofa sleeper with memory foam mattress that can accommodate additional guests comfortably. A Wurlitzer juke box has also been added. The master bedroom bathroom was just upgraded in 2021 with a spacious shower with pebble tech floor and decorative tiles. Other amenities include: a full kitchen with new cooktop stove and oven, granite surfaces in the kitchen and baths, and stone flooring in the kitchen, front room, and halls and new hardwood floor in the master. The master bedroom is large and roomy and contains a slider to a private backyard and pool with a large walk in closet and private bathroom. All interior and exterior walls have been repainted!

The beautiful living room has a new smart TV along with the master bedroom. The home has free wireless internet with a new high-speed router installed. Expansive air conditioning is provided with ceiling fans in all bedrooms plus the family room to allow individual temperature control.

The pool and landscape are maintained routinely by professional services. The pool has a heater to enable swimming during the winter, early spring, and late fall seasons when the air temperature drops at night. The private patio has a newly constructed outside dining area with seating for 8 and serving are with new granite surfaces. There are comfortable patio chairs and lounges and two portable shade umbrellas. There is also a stainless-steel barbecue and propane fire bowl with numerous exterior solar lights.
Two of the bedrooms have brand new queen beds and mattresses. The concrete off the sliding door has been coated and the entire backyard entertainment area is covered with an aluminum patio cover and lattice. There is a remote-control fan installed over the outside dining area for added comfort.

The kitchen is well stocked and has a Keurig coffee maker. The home will have a limited supply of toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, and shampoo. Visits over a week may need to restock basic necessities.
