- "Great stay. Beautiful location on the river and comfortable cabin. Watch your children and pets. We did get a visiting rattlesnake on the porch. Not a big deal. We’ll be back!" - "The property was just what I wanted, with the Klickitat River rushing right by and the tall cliff walls on the opposite side. Watch tubers, kayakers and fisherman pass by on the water was lots of fun. Both the side patio and back deck seating areas were perfect for avoiding or catching the sun's rays throughout the day. The kitchen was well-stacked with adequate pans and staples. It was a little tight with 5 adults and an infant, but it fit our budget!"

We have already recommended the property to friends and family. The owner even left us veggies from his own garden. So many nice touches. We had concerns about the AC but it was exactly as described and we were very comfortable. Loved being able to park in the garage. I was tempted to leave a less complimentary review because I’m selfish and want it available for us but I just couldn’t do it—the owner(s?) were just too nice and went the extra mile in every way. A double wide trailer home located 1mile from 76 & DQ in the town of Goldendale, sets on 10 acre lot with pond. We have 5 koi fish in here, no fishing, no swimming is allowed. No skating during winter month where pond is icy and sleek. Golf cart temporarily unavailable. 3 bedrooms, has 2 queen bed and 1 full bed. Has 2 bathrooms. Entire kitchen is functional, spices, oven, fridge, coffeemaker, toaster, microwave etc. Bar height dining table and chairs seats six people.

Laundry washer and dryer could also be use, ironing board also available. TV along with the office table and another TV in the leaving room with couch and love seat with other 2 recliners (No sleeping in any of the furniture please). Sun room has patio set.

Guest has full access in the sun room.

Guest can use the BBQ grill provided at the back of the house. Enjoy picnic outside, can contact the host for folding tables and chairs.

The cabin is very quiet and offers a close jump of point to a myriad of activities including whitewater rafting, scenic river floats, wineries, brewpubs, fishing, hiking, windsurfing, observatories, museums, etc.

The guest has free access to the 40 acres that the cabin is on. There is a fire pit next to the cabin, exceptional views and amazing stargazing at night.

The guest has access to both the cabins.

The big cabin has a queen bed and a large bathroom, refrigerator and a microwave .

The smaller cabin has two beds-1 single & 1 queen mattress.

The bathroom in the big cabin can be accessed from the outside.

Both cabins are trimmed in barn wood from one of the original barns of the ranch.

The two cabins are located behind the ranch house that is often rented as well so there could be people staying nearby.

We didn't want to get in the way of the other guests, so we went out for dinner. The walk-in shower had ledges to sit on and a handheld showerhead. Two mornings in a row we had breakfast at the Town House Cafe - great service and food! Would stay again."

- "Great property" - "We attended a wedding and stayed at The Oaks for an extended weekend. The property is expansive and the disk golf course is awesome! The Hot Tub hit the spot after a full day. The house is furnished very nicely and the kitchen is well stocked with just about any kitchen appliance/gadgets you will need. Loved it! We hope to visit again!" - "This property is as good as any we have stayed at. Easily accommodated 5 men. The home appears to be mostly new or remodeled. The kitchen was very well stocked - maybe the best we've ever seen. If you need it - it's there. The only exception to that might be a really big boiler pot for sous vide. (There were plenty of pots for pasta, pans etc). Large dining room table was comfortable to sit at. We were primarily there to fish near by and didn't use the other toys provided. There was large hot tub, table tennis, indoor dual sided competition basketball game (not real basketball) and real outdoor Frisbee course. The temperature gauge was useful for us to see the weather conditions. One of us used the apartment above the garage. Kitchenette, large and comfortable. Drive time to the klick was about 30 minutes. One hour to Deschutes - but beware that the Dalles bridge has been undergoing repairs and closes from Thur-Sunday (adds 30 minutes each way to go the Deschutes). Work should have been done, but was ongoing while we were there. Communication was excellent. We had some challenges to get into the apartment loft when we first arrived, they provided what we needed. We blew a fuse and after a short search, we ended up calling the owners pretty late (10P or so) and they directed us (and provided us the combo) fuse box. Easy to work with. Overall great place."
