Built in 1893 as the Lewisville School House, now has been reformed into the Newhouse Family Inn. We have 2 bedrooms with a shared bath and 1 bedroom with a private bath. You will have full access to the common room, dinning area and kitchen. We are less than 60 miles away from Indianapolis and its many venues such as, Lucas oil stadium, Indianapolis motor speedway, and Bankers life fieldhouse. Before you head up the deck stairs to find a cozy outdoor seating area, you will be greeted with a gas grill at the bottom of the stairs. This grill is outfitted with all of the essential tools for a grill master, like a set of tongs, a metal spatula, a pizza peel, and metal skewers for shish kabobs. (Metal skewers are found inside the silverware drawer in the kitchen.)

Once you do head up the stairs and step foot inside, you will notice a welcoming entryway that provides you with coat hooks for your purse and jacket and a table for your wallet and keys. If you look to your right when you enter, you will see the laundry center complete with a stackable washer/dryer, detergent pods, and wool dryer balls.

As you walk down the main hallway, you will immediately find the full bathroom to your right. This space is kept bright and cheerful, and it offers you a chance to clean up after a long day of traveling. Soak those tired feet in the bathtub and wash away your stress with a hot shower. We offer complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower as well as hand soap and lotion at the sink.

As you continue down the main hallway, you will find the private bedroom to your left. This oasis is kept serene and peaceful with its dark color scheme and room-darkening curtains. The down comforter is covered with a linen/cotton duvet cover to prevent overheating while sleeping, and the cotton sheets will also keep you cool. Additionally, you'll find it easy to stay cool when you turn on the window AC unit that is dedicated to keeping the bedroom from overheating during hot summer nights. You'll sink right into our memory foam mattress and never want to leave, especially when you switch on the wall-mounted 43" 4K UHD Smart TV which is directly across from the bed. The ceiling fan and overhead light are remote-controlled, so you won't even have to leave the bed to turn out the lights for the evening. Keep your electronics fully charged and by your side with the USB ports/AC outlets built into the back of both nightstands, and if you forgot to bring your charging cable, you can use our charging cable that offers USB-C, Micro USB, and iPhone charging capabilities. Our alarm clock even offers wireless charging! All of you will face the huge 65" 4K UHD Smart TV which will provide endless nights of entertainment. Sports games, cooking shows, and documentaries will be more real than ever before. The sconce lights are remote-controlled, so you can watch TV with mood lighting too. You can also head over into the kitchen to make a snack for movie watching. We have all of the essentials, like pots, pans, sheet pans, a cutting board, a toaster, a blender, a colander, mixing bowls, measuring utensils, silverware, dinnerware, coffee cups, wine glasses, champagne glasses, olive oil and vinegar, salt and pepper, and some of the most popular spices. Our refrigerator holds a water filter pitcher as well as half and half for those coffee lovers. And our coffee bar is something to talk about! Check out was easy and once again James let us stay about an hour later than the advertised checkout time. All in all, a wonderful stay and we would definitely do it again for our next bowling tournament in Richmond."

This is an open lot for campers wanting to view the 2024 solar eclipse. Visitors are surrounded by prosperous cornfields and open skies for the best views of the eclipse. Located in Henry County, this land is located in an optimal zone of totality. We will have a covered bathroom. There are limited spots available, but renters will have a 20x20 space for camping out under the stars. Personal fires are allowed or a mutual fire for all. We will be present all weekend to assist with any needs. While we are located in the country, gas stations and restaurants are only 4 miles away.
