We had to add an extra night last minute, and our host was gracious enough to get us in a night ealier than planned. The home is brand new, had clean linens on all the beds, and plenty of space for our family of 6. The above ground pool in the backyard was great for the kids to splash around in, and the ducks in the back pasture were so cute. Fresh duck eggs in the kitchen! Cottage Is clean, cozy and comfortable, nestled within our Horse Farm. This is a 3-acre property total. The Cottage is nestled between the 2 pastures and has its own private driveway. It’s adjacent up to Florida Scenic Trailways and Yellow River Reserve.

On-Site Farm Managers live on the Front Pasture and feed and water the horses next to the Cottage daily. With 24-hour notice, they are happy to provide a Complimentary Interaction with the Horses including Treats.

About 35 minutes to Navarre Beach, Pensacola Beach, Downtown Pensacola or Downtown Milton. Less than 7 miles to I-10, Exit 31.

There are a variety of restaurants nearby as well as activities such as canoeing, kayaking, ziplining and shopping. Our Property adjoins the Florida Scenic Trail with direct access to the Orange, White, and Blue Trails and Several Creeks within a 15–20-minute hike.

Farm Managers feed and water horses daily. Horse stalls are adjacent to the cottage, so guests can choose to watch or participate in a complimentary Equine Experience. The Horses love (supervised) attention and (approved) treats. Just message the host to schedule your free Equine Experience.

Please keep in mind that our Farm is a little off the beaten path while being convenient to Downtown, Milton, Blackwater River, Navarre Beach, Pensacola Beach, local Airports, Fine Dining, Shopping, Concerts, Outdoor Adventures, and much more. Our property is approximately 30 minutes to Navarre Beach or Pensacola Beach. It’s also convenient to Downtown Milton Riverwalk, Historic Bagdad Mill-Site, and Pace, FL, where you will find Antique Malls, Good Food, and other great Stores. Property is less than 8 miles from I-10, Coldwater Trails, Blackwater River, Heritage Bike Trail, June Ates Arena and other activities. Float down the river with friends at Blackwater Joe's or try out the zip line at Adventures Unlimited. Santa Rosa County has one of the highest horse populations per capita in the state. It is also the Canoe Capital of Florida.
Small town traffic is usually not a problem in Santa Rosa County. Private vehicles are the preferred method of travel; however, there are taxi services available if needed. This property is a little off the beaten path and offers access to hiking, bike, and horse trails, as well as opportunities for kayaking and outdoor adventures nearby.

Eagles Landing is a working horse farm. Equine activities are inherently dangerous; therefore, guests are not permitted in horse pastures or paddocks at any time.

We ask that you NOT feed horses unless accompanied by a host or trainer. Horses are livestock, not pets. We strive to create a safe interaction between our horses and guests.

We live close by and are willing to accommodate a special equine encounter experience for our guests. We love sharing our knowledge and passion for horses. However, we want your experience to be positive and safe. You are responsible for safety and cleanliness of yourselves and anyone you allow on the property.

Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the host was highly responsive and helpful during our stay. It looked like the property was completely fenced, but we didn't walk around and check since we didn't take our dogs on this trip. There are some neighboring properties, but we did not see or hear anyone while we were there. The property does have security cameras. Not sure if they were on, but we were glad to have them in any case. The house was extremely clean and well organized. The owners put a lot of thought into providing necessities to make the stay stress free. They were quick to respond to any questions and even notified us of bad weather storms coming into the area. They even had emergency flashlights in the house if we needed to use them. Thankfully, we didn't need to use them. Overall, this was a great house and visit to the area. "

The garage and a single room on the right side of the house are private and are locked and not open to guests. There is security on them and entering/using/trespassing will result in a immediate termination of reservation with no refund. As will any violations in rules regarding pets or guests not specified in reservation.

There was only a tiny TV in the living room and the bed in the "flamingo" room was hard as a rock. It had everything else you should need. READ the details and get a clear understanding BEFORE accepting a booking and taking people's money. If I book to use the kitchen for a family dinner that means family is coming to dinner. No one stayed on the home who wasn't listed on the reservation. Not everyone is mentally able to allow strangers to live in their homes for a short period of time. I am not a wild college student I am a mother with children and a family. There was nothing wild or loud about us. I do not recommend."

Wake up in the morning and make yourself a fresh cup of coffee and enjoy the hanging bench on the massive front porch, don't be surprised if you see herds of deer throughout the property in the very early hours as well as see and hear a wide variety of birds native to NW Florida.

Comforters and throw pillows were well worn. The hot tub had a white cream ring around the filter, which I assume is skin cells. The pool, while clear, had sediment in the bottom, and the pool liner was coming loose; the diving board was loose and held on by one screw. The entire pool area needs pressure washing; the screen cover is torn and missing half of the panels, so the pool was full of bugs. This property had no reviews when we booked, and I assume we have been the first to book. Since it is a lived-in property, we had plenty of utensils and a place setting for all 12 of us for multiple meals. It was nice since most VRBOs have place settings for four and say they sleep 8-10. I hope the owners give this property the TLC it needs because it could do very well for them and be great for families."

This fully furnished home has three bedrooms. The master has a queen bed and other two rooms have full beds. The master has its own private bath. A full hall bath and a one car garage with washer and dryer. Each bedroom has its own smart TV, closet, and extra storage. The kitchen is set up for your culinary needs, so you don’t have to eat out every day. Whether you need a weekly, monthly, or longer stay this home is a great option for your home away from home needs!

- "Although the house is on a busy road, it was a very nice place to stay at! The interior was very nice and everything that one would need to cook, clean, and just relax was readily available. There are two bathrooms, one in the hall and the other in the master bedroom. Both are very big! The rooms were good sized with very comfortable beds. You could tell someone put a lot of money and time into having the house be at that kind of level of cleanness and niceness. There is a back porch with a grill and nice set of chairs as well! Celeste was great to work with and we had no problems! Highly recommend"

Pillow top beds, high thread count linens, Ralph Lauren pillows and 20 fluffy towels provided. Rooms are not large. Collegan reverse osmosis water system through out the home including garden hose. A massage chair, ESPN air hockey, laser tag, poker set, horse shoes, crockett & many more games. Big screen TVs & safari room set up with gaming chairs (in closet) plus 100's of DVDs, Netflix and Hulu. Each bed has a heavy, weighted throw which helps with a restful sleep. 2 queen size beds, 2 twin beds and futon in the living room, pack and play crib. Room for air mattresses in livingroom. State of the art kitchen with all stainless steel appliances and enough upgraded cookware to whip up 7 course meals. Create an event with a fondue maker, wok, crock pot & plates, cyrstal & flat ware. No paper or plastic plates needed. Gourmet teas & coffees with a coffee pot, Keurig maker and expresso machine. The large Tiki torch lined yard has fire pits, hammock style cots, screened gazebo with 3 tables and many chairs and a grill. Extra folding chairs in the safari bedroom closet This backyard is a lovely entertainment area where smoking is allowed. (NO smoking in the home.) All wood found on property can be used in the many fire pits. Flood lights and alarm system with key fob controls provide peace of mind. The acre near the home is landscaped but there is over 3 acres of uncultivated land to explore with an ATV and cycle trail. (Heavy boots and outdoor clothing recommended) Dog runs set up around the grounds, wooden fenced in dog park. Advanced notice for pets since professional carpet cleaning needs to be organized afterwards and there is a fee. Chickens, cats and squirrels roam the grounds. Please fill the bowls on the patio from the gray canister every morning. No automatic feeders because that attracts racoons. The outdoor pets have eliminated bugs, rodents and snakes. They are not allowed indoors. Smoke only outdoors and put butts in the vases with sand located at the tables. Events, the outdoor tent and chandelier are at a fee and require advance notice. Anyone accessing the grounds who is not in your reservation needs to pay a fee. Bathroom tub; pull down on faucet where water flows to operate shower. Septic tank has been pumped and inspected.

- "The driveway needs major work. Every room was clutter and stuffy. Every bed had one side against a wall so the person on the inside had to crawl over the person on the outside to go to the bathroom. The front room had no room to sit and relax due to all the chairs in the way. There was no internet service nor was there any tv to watch local news. There were two cats and two chickens on property that we fed. The owner asked if we would feed them or they would come feed them everyday. The owner of the property came into the house while we were gone to get the food and feed the animals. That is NOT cool to do. There were bugs inside the refrigerator. The coffee pot was filthy and the grounds holder plunger broken. There was an odor inside the house like there were pets inside. There was a stack of twin size mattresses in the entrance of the house beside the entertainment center. The flooring was coming apart in the dinning room. The pictures online showed a nice covered area out back, but the screen was torn on top. We could not open the back door to go outside, the hinges were taped up. The dinning room chairs were catching our shirts and scratching our backs. All the furniture was out dates and not comfortable. The only good things about this property is the parking area is shaded, the water pressure is great, and the A/C worked fantastic. I would not recommend this property for anyone, especially if they drive a car. If I drive my car, I would have lost my front bumper."

Very tranquil cottage on two and one half wooded acres, with a horse farm across the street. Lots of entertainment nearby, three large beautiful state parks with lakes within 20 minutes, gorgeous white sandy beaches, and great shopping at Destin Commons only 40 minutes. This 1340 square foot three-bedroom cottage is very nicely furnished with a four-post king size bed in the master suite, a queen bed in the front bedroom and a full-size bed in the back bedroom. All bedrooms and the living room have ceiling fans with dimmable lights. The living room has a smart big screen TV, high speed WIFI, a Blue Ray player along with a selection of movies, board games, and corn hole for your entertainment.

The cottage was completely remodeled in 2023, boasting updated appliances, granite countertops and new cabinets. The kitchen and both bathrooms have tiled floors, all other areas have Luxury Vinyl Planking (LVP). The kitchen is fully equipped with all the dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and even a China set. This cottage has all the comforts of home. It is also super insulated so you won’t hear road noise and very little inside noise is transmitted from room to room.

The backyard is a lovely entertainment area where smoking is allowed, but please NO smoking in the home. Flood lights on the exterior perimeter provides great lighting in the evening. This rural area is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist attractions but close enough to the city of Crestview that you can be at the grocery store in a matter of minutes. There is also plenty of room to park horse trailers and dually trucks on site.

ONE Small, Well Trained, Friendly Dog MAY be allowed if $100 Pet Fee is Paid Prior to Check-In. Owners must Keep Pets OFF the Furniture while Inside, ON a Leash While Outside and Clean up after Pets Inside and OUT.
