Our nest is a private 2 bedroom / 1 bath home situated along the unspoiled stretch of Santa Rosa Sound just between Fort Walton Beach and Navarre. We feature a shallow beach and small dock where you can relax along Santa Rosa Sound. The cottage has a complete kitchen, laundry, covered parking, fenced yard, grill, and patio. The property is naturally landscaped and well maintained. We have several kayaks, a paddleboard, and canoe that you are free to enjoy. We provide departure housekeeping, Roku TV with cable, high speed internet, and a Bluetooth stereo.

The house is situated under shady oak trees with access to waterfront on Santa Rosa Sound. Electric, utils, cable TV and High-speed Internet included. This is a studio guesthouse with one queen bed and a couch. An air mattress is available upon request and is an additional $35 per booking. Parking spot is in front of the guesthouse or by the road on the parking pad. The guesthouse is 700 Square feet. We (the hosts) live on the property and will share the driveway with you.

Parking: Two spots (one in front of the guesthouse) and one on the street side parking pad. Please don’t block access at any time.

Pet Policy: We will use the grounds but usually in our own private area. Dogs should be leashes at all times as we have our own dogs. Pet fee is $15 a day per pet for stays up to 14 nights or $150 per month.

Location: Great location to Hurlburt Field AFB (4 mins to main gate), Downtown Mary Esther and Ft. Walton Beach. Destin is 15 mins away and the Destin (VPS) Airport is 22 mins away. Downtown Pensacola is 50 mins away.

Early check-in/out is available but costs extra. Please request this more than 48 hours in advance so we can give our cleaners appropriate time to adjust. Cleaners will be there at 10am sharp.

To be clear, a service animal should be with you at all times and not left alone in the guesthouse. The space, the ability to have the ENTIRE home to do everything you can at your own home, the entire vibe at this spot is amazing. We loved meeting the neighbors as well as everything the condo on the sound had to offer. The spot is about 20 minutes to Navarre beach in normal everyday traffic, and roughly the same distance to Okaloosa island (which is better in my opinion). We grew up here and try to come back and visit family every year and we’ll be booking it again for next year. It was amazing."

- "We were never in this area before so I was nervous when booking! The townhome is recently renovated and still smells like fresh paint, but overall looks almost like the photos. The rooms are a bit smaller in real life and bathroom could be cleaned a bit more thoroughly but no big deal. The pool wasn't really clean when we were there but I figured that was more of the whole apartment complex problem plus we had some heavy rain. It's about 10-15 minutes to the beaches, restaurants and some attractions. Kim who was my contact was prompt and Evolve reached out a few days before to check in which is nice. We didn't need anything extra and the bed was comfy enough. I'd recommend this place to anyone that comes in a small group, prefer to stay somewhere private and quiet, far from the touristy areas."
