The final set of stairs look like the North face of the Eiger, heavy bags are a real problem. The lift only goes to the second floor. So, if you're a three foot tall mountaineer then room 26 is for you. Rooms 21 to 26 are all at the summit of those stairs. But lovely staff and great Cheesecake in the bar."

Our romantic chapel is located in a completely renovated Neo-gothic chapel, dating back from the 19th century. Tenants have the exclusive use of it. The amazing, completely furnished and very bright living room has a view on a modern, architect-drawn garden. Besides this, you will also enjoy the use of a completely equipped Old-Dutch kitchen. On the first floor you will find 2 guest rooms, hosting 2 people each. The common bathroom boasts a whirlpool, separate shower cabins and a washbasin. Kapeltuin is an attractive house with a wonderful historic atmosphere. The front is located on one of Hoorn's few remaining canals, where you can moor a boat and sail directly into the IJsselmeer. The rear is located on the beautiful Weeshuistuin.

The charming house is spread over three floors. On the first floor is the main entrance and a playful living room with a view of an early 15th century monastery complex with garden and St. Mary's chapel. A beautiful garden table with comfortable chairs on the terrace invites you to linger. The living room also has a wood-burning stove and a piano. Adjacent to the living room is the Italian kitchen with utility room and a separate toilet.
