- "On our arrival, we are very lucky to be served by Sanne and Marjolein who welcome us warmly. We have some specific requests for our rooms which are met. They also helped us with our tourism queries on Amsterdam. Both of them are very knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel is just 5 mins walked from the Zaandam station. when you exit the station, turn to the right and take a lift down to the road level and you can see the Hotel. The hotel is clean and the room looks like a newly furnished one. We are blown away by the shower which is preset to 40 degree and the rain shower helps to rejuvenate us after a long day. Opposite the hotel is Deen Supermarket and there are many shopping amenities around the hotel like Primark, the Sting. I will definitely recommend anyone to stay at Zaan Hotel"

You need to wear ear plugs at night other it would be difficult to sleep with noise from bars and nightclub. 10 minutes on train to Amsterdam and trsins are very regular. Restaurants all very close by.
