In the room has all the amenities. The guest entrance is in our back yard with its own front door, so that you are free. This room is a mix of antique and modern style, comfortable and luxury furnished and fully equipped. There is a luxurious double bed and folding bed with high-quality mattresses. The total room was renovated in August 2018. Opposite our House is a forest. Our garden is subtropical, with hibiscus, palms, and a fig tree. You are welcome

A nice 1930s house located above a shop of the cozy main shopping street in Zaandam, above a coffee shop.

From here it is 10 minutes walk to the train station that takes you in 10 minutes to Amsterdam Central Station.

The bus station is 1 minute walk from the house. Dam Square, a square with many restaurants and pubs, is also a 1-minute walk away.

The house is for 2 people and features a bedroom, bathroom, living room with dining area and kitchen.

The space
The house is an old 1930s home, it used to be an office and the shop downstairs was a candy store. Now we live there for over 8 years, we have refurbished the house ourselves after it has been vacant for 3 years. It is a nice home where we have been living with pleasure for years.

From the street you enter with a staircase that takes you on a shared roof terrace, in the spring/summer months you can sit outside here.

Entering the house you step into the kitchen, and next to the kitchen is a small bathroom. On this same floor you will find the hallway and the living and dining room, at the dining table you can also sit to work from.

Upstairs you will find the bedroom with a 2-person. A cot is possible if needed, please let us know. There is also above a washing machine + drying rack you can use.

Guests can use almost the entire home. We have some closets and 1 room upstairs.
