Apartment is incredible! Felt completely at home. Located main street, Haarlem. 12 degree inside as I arrived. 20 degrees an hour later. 22 degrees constant. Seating, I needed a nice big sofa to crash out on and it was perfect, if a little dated and stained. Cooking a meal was adequate, induction hob and fan oven working well. The shower room and toilet is faultless. Plenty of storage space in bedroom. I was expecting a double bed but it was two singles together with double.linen. I wouldn't mind a single bed, but this arrangement didn't suit my restless nights. Also, it was a single occupancy booking, they left me with a single duvet on a double bed (two singles) which I found very odd, no reason to complain as I was warm enough but would've been more comfortable with a double duvet. Cleanliness gets a 4.5/5 as some of the cutlery needed cleaning but the overall cleanliness is 5/5. The balcony with street view was one of the best things about my trip. There's a coffeeshop opposite the apartment. Be careful leaving the apartment, there's bikes coming at you from both sides. Dont trip on cobbles as you leave, you may end up in the coffeeshop! I am looking forward to my next stay already. "

Close to Haarlem station and a good starting point for excursions to Amsterdam (only 20 minutes by train), Keukenhof or Zandvoort beach (10 minutes by train).

Getting to and around Haarlem by public transport is quite convenient. Schiphol Airport is well connected by train and will take you about 30 minutes. The capital city of Amsterdam and Zandvoort beach are both only 15 minutes away. We will share a handy website to plan your route.

By car the airport is about 20 minutes and Amsterdam 20 to 30 depending on your exact destination.

- "WOW!! I can not say enough about how great this property is. Location is perfect, walkable to countless eateries and shops and beautiful scenery everywhere you look. Many have mentioned the stairs, yes, there are many steps so beware of the weight of the luggage you bring and just go slow, but honestly, I would say it is part of the charm. We did not cook at the apartment, but it seemed to be very well stocked if you wanted to. Beds were very comfy. Would certainly stay again if ever in the area!"

We aren’t cyclists but the bikes looked impressive and there were maps etc for touring around. Also, some breakfast items were provided along with fruit which meant we didn’t need to go out shopping which was a nice touch. The beds are very comfortable and the place is spotlessly clean."

We loved being in the middle of everything, watching the hustle and bustle of the city from our windows. The apartment was clean, smelled great, and had absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable stay!" - "We had a wonderful stay in Harlem at City Attic. It is a loft apartment that was in a perfect spot above a cafe. It is basically a two bedroom with stairs up to the second bedroom loft. There are tons of cafes around and is very close to the city square. Harlem is an adorable town with lots of energy and great restaurants, bakeries, a weekly market and shops. Plus it is very close to Amsterdam. Paul and his lovely wife, Priscilla, have made this apartment impeccable, cozy and lovingly decorated with her artwork. It had a very nice kitchen, air conditioning and comfortable beds. Also there is a bathroom up in the loft area which was super convenient. There is a small patio which was perfect for an evening with wine and a cheese board. In addition Paul was always available and is clearly wanting his guests to be completely happy. He did several wonderful things for us. One of our guests fell and hurt her leg and he offered to take us to the Dr. We didn't end up needing those services but I thought it was amazing that he offered his help. To me this was a great spot and a great host. My only suggestion is to add an upstairs shelf for guests to unpack their folded clothes. There is a nice size hanging rack which is nice. We would definitely stay here again!"
